I can't even see how the Firefly would be a go to device with friends. It does not feel like it was designed for 'friends'. I guess if there were three of you and you each had a bowl, no, the Firefly is a personal connoisseur's device imo. The battery life is exactly what I need and has yet to disappoint me in any way. You may wish to look elsewhere for a device to adequately entertain your pals if that is high on your vape checklist.

That's affirmative, not for sharing, much. I was afraid of passing this beauthy around the room in fear of it being dropped or simply disappear. Using the Pax, which is a great sharing device, but the darn thing hurts my throat then my lungs. If I waste a bunch and use only the first few draws it's great. This may not be an issue with most but I've got a bad set of billows.

Getting the hang of things now. Thanks for the tips! Regarding group sessions I used my FF last night with a group of 6 and it did well. Refilled it several times and recharged it once. I worked the heat button for most of the group. IMO it's viable for a group.

I was curious if the outside of the unit scratches very easily? Like when you want to set the unit down on a table or inside of a pocket.

Seems pretty durable under normal use.... It doesn't get scratched just by setting it down or in your pocket. Of course if your pocket were full of keys, that might be a problem. It comes with a pouch if you must carry it with sharp objects. :D

No Canadian Firefly owner here to tell me how much the shipping cost was and if any taxes were paid to customs? I might make my order tonight and I asked some friends in Edmonton to receive it and forward it for me to Greece... How long would it take to reach Canada?

Wow… I think they have blocked my mail address… Why, oh why? :uhoh:

I had first send them this mail where they politely answered back saying they wouldn't ship to Europe and that funny 110V excuse…

"Hi all!

I am interested in the Firefly and I would like to know if you can ship to Greece... And also if you can ship through USPS so the shipping cost is not as high as with a courier service. I have had very good luck with USPS so far. Can you declare it as a gift or as a replacement under warranty or under 100$ so I won't have to pay the ginormous taxes for orders over 100$? Most vaporizer manufacturers or shops I have dealt with so far don't mind doing so."

Then I sent them another one but never heard back… :(

"While I respect your answer, I don't really see any reason for not being able to ship to Europe... I don't mind for the voltage as long as there are converters out there and for cheap.

I will have to put a Canadian shipping address for the order and ask for friends to ship it to me nevertheless but I really don't understand why I would have to do so... Voltage difference is not a adequate reason for me.

Be well."

Meanwhile my sweet mother-in-law told me she could receive it for me in Canada and forward it to Greece… I then sent them this mail but they seem to have blocked my mail addresses!!!

"Hey!
I am about to order a sweet Firefly and spread the good word!
I just have some questions beforehand...
Do you accept paypal or is it cc? If Paypal, should I use my European address as the billing address or it won't matter? My mother-in-law in Canada is where you will ship the unit... All warranty claims if any will be done through there if any issues come up. I will take care of shipping costs to and from there.
Are there spare batteries available as of now? What FF colours are in stock?

I am so happy for this! Already sold all of my previous vapes for this sans one! Please accept my order even if I live in Europe. Please...?

I'd love to see you around at FC at some point…"

What the hell? :uhoh::uhoh::uhoh: Why don't they want my business???

Today being New Years Day here in the US most places are closed for the holiday. Also may have closed early for New Years Eve.

If you are in Greece then you are 10 hours ahead of them (in Seattle, Washington). So they won't likely be in to work for another 6 or 7 hours.
And no doubt there will be some backlog of emails, orders, etc. to get through. Too early to panic.

I am panicking about my mail blocking mostly, not the time…

"Your message cannot be delivered to the following recipients:

Recipient address: info@thefirefly.com
Reason: Remote SMTP server has rejected address
Diagnostic code: smtp;553 sorry, that domain isn't in my list of allowed rcpthosts (#5.7.1)
Remote system: dns;thefirefly.com (TCP|………………………………………………………………….) (sip4-513.nexcess.net ESMTP)"

Anyway, I entered my M-I-L's postal code in Canada to get a shipping quote and it was 55$! WHAT??? I sure can't afford that so I asked a fellow FC member from the States if she can get one for me and ship it to Europe… Waiting for her kind response… :D

Don't know enough about computers to have a clue about the email stuff, but there are lots of comments in different threads here about shipping to Canada. Apparently the cheapest way is through the standard Postal system. Delivery companies like UPS and FedEx charge extra fees (they label it as some sort of customs bullshit) that can really jack up the price.

Did you try contacting them using their webpage contact form (vs. email)?

My first contact was through the webpage and got a confirmation in the mail. Then I replied to their response through e-mail and then I forwarded that response with my new message. Then I sent the same message through the webpage but didn't get a confirmation…

This would be the first time in my entire career as a network technician that I've seen someone use SMTP to try to block someone. There's so many better ways to do it, it's an outdated tactic. I think it's more likely their I.T. department was working on the server and accidentally switched it over to whitelist mode instead of blacklist mode. Have you tried again recently?

that´s no smoke....it´s called vapor
Hello friends.

I´ve read a lot of threads here and followed a lot of your recommendations in case of vaporizers.

I bought a solo and I am totally happy with it. Nice taste, nice efficiency and easy to clean. But not really mobile. I need to medicate while I am on the go...and so I tried to get a Pax. Not easy in Germany. So I ended up with an Pax-Clone. Not even nice vape and hard to clean. But very handy...

The NO2 isn´t very mobile either, IMO.

I also tried the Iolites and Wisprs but the whispering is to loud, IMO.

So now my question:

Would someone send me a firefly and we transfer the money via paypal?

I wouldn´t be surprised if there is noone out there....but asking doesn´t cost anything ;-)

Sorry for my english.

firefly makes a great unit and their customer service is excellent by phone, but they have never responded to any of my emails, unless it was a response to an email they sent me

Sarah C. of Firefly has been sending regular emails to me. When the return department forgets to contact me, she does. All in all the experience I have had after recieving my Firefly is exceptional. In fact just got an email stating my replacement will be here this Friday, so I'll be there for the signature. This is a brand new company with a brand new product that was released during the holidays. I'm thinking after the crunch they will be in a better situation to reply to peoples emails. To date they have been 100% on the ball all the time for me. I suggested some small adjustments to the unit and got a great reply. Customer service has rocked.

Here what the FF-support says....

Currently we do not sell or send overseas. We would recommend shipping to a US addressee and having them send you your Firefly if that option is available to you.

Sincerely,
The Firefly Team
