Make sure you push the end of the whip into the bowl connection. If you do not push it in, it will pop out. Also make sure to tighten the bowl as you screw it together of it can come undone as you pull the bowl off.

Nice write-up, thanks for sharing!

You may have already figured this out but I saw someone else mention the whip coming loose as well. The little adapter on the end of the whip will stay in place if you twist it slightly after seating it into the top of the bowl. A nice little touch IMO.

Also, I didn't realize the top lid had a magnet. I thought it was the two tabs in the hinge that held it closed?? Regarding the bag, I find mine fills quicker at higher temps. Could be my imagination.

pretty sure the storage portion of the lid catches using a magnet. It COULD be my imagination as well :)

seems like it snaps up like a magnet is in there.

Take a look at the hinge. There are two little round "tabs" that pop out to hold the inner lid in place and cause that action.

I had one strain produce little to zero vapor at 325 and one that produced nice semi thick (oh my) vapor at 325. One indica , the other a sativa. The sativa began producing nice vapor at 350...I use the fan to heat the herb up and usually have no problems pulling thick vapor at 380 without the fan. I've gone as high as 445...did not like the taste at 445, tho it was at the end of the session...did vape at 440 a couple times and had no taste issue. Me and the Gf like the Vape a lot....found myself thinking about Herbie at the gym today :) this has been my best vaping experience all around...from sale to ship and use.

Almost there...
THE HERBIE HAS LANDED!!!!

Amazing packaging and presentation!!!
A very sleek and elegant design, unfortunately it looks like i am going to have to redesign my man cave so this vape actually looks like it belongs in there! I was thinking leather and chrome! LOL!!!

On another note: Did everyone receive a cleaning brush with their unit?
I see there is a picture of one in the user booklet but mine did not come with one…

I can't wait to fire this vape up!!!

Edit: Decided against waiting till later… Nothing wrong with an almost wake and bake session!
Ground up a bud and loaded about 3mm of bud on the lower screen.
Started out low and kind of forgot to take my finger off the + button…
All of a sudden this massive cloud comes out of me, thick, dark blue and very heavy!
Instantly medicated!
Fuck me Santa, this is THE BEST gift i have ever bought myself!!!

The EVO has some serious competition!!!

Check around for your brush, it may have shaken loose during its travels and fell out. Serious competition indeed. So high last night off of so little herb (two people), I didn't want to use Herbie for my last session of the night. I'm close to becoming a fan boy and no wrong can ever come from Herbie. Seriously in love.

No brush to be found anywhere…
No big deal though i can always ask them where to buy one from, don't want them to ship a tiny brush across borders!

Got the Herbie DeFunking now and am going to try the herbal blend!

Other news of the day is sad… Looks like Herbie will be doing most of the work around here from now on… Thinning of the vape herd will commence soon…
Herbie has kind of made my log vape wait in the shadows. It takes slightly longer using Herbie but the results and consistency cannot be beaten!

Please explain DeFunking?
I have a feeling that herbie will be the impetus to thin my herd as well...

They are Glue Brushes or a Flux Brush. You can get them super cheap at a hobby or hardware store. Finding the right size can be tricky though because they have slightly different shapes/sizes depending on the manufacture.

They look like this though:

All my days in a daze...
This vape has me very interested and curious and I will definitely be closely monitoring it waiting for any word of 220v units.

If I may offer one opinion though, I think it's a slight oversight to launch such an incredible device without any function/accessory to connect to a waterpipe (of course I'm aware of easy work arounds, but I'm speaking of more elegant solution). I'm sure an adapter of some type must be in development.
For many of us water tools are an essential part of the experience/ritual/routine. There is a whole forum for glass so I know I'm not alone. ;)

Fan assisted water tool usage is what draws (no pun intended) my interest to this unit.

The end of the whip accepts a small piece of silicone tubing that accepts a 14 or 18 gong fitting......Voila!
water friendly. I bought a new Mobius to use with the Herbie, it works very well. However, i do not think it is fair to expect this machine to pressurize a tube through water with substantial vapor. It will not force feed my Ion, so maybe others will find better results......

Let me add that I did not "assist" the fan mode, just sat back and watched..

Yeah, I understand there are work arounds.
However, if I am laying down $700+ I'd just prefer something more elegant than the good old 'shove a piece of silicone tubing on it' solution. :)
Again, just IMHO.

And, yeah, I agree, no way should anyone expect the Herbie to fill a can by itself.
Definitely an unreasonable expectation of the fan.
But I am definitely extremely curious to feel how the fan assist assists me in milking up a can.

Have you taken fan assisted hits through your Mobius? Do you feel a noticeable difference in the amount of lung power needed?

I like my vapes to do exactly what they are designed to do. This vape isn't for water...yeah there are work arounds, if that's not satisfying and it isn't for myself either, then buy a cloud/evo. I don't like using any glass but hydratube for the cloud, I'm not a fan of mods, a sign of a great vape is it works without me having to fiddle with it. Just my preference

This vape isn't for water...

I have to disagree here, this is the most versatile vape you can buy. Instant heat any way you want it and as long as you want it.

I am actually liking the silicone tubing to attach the hose adapter (from the whip) to a GonG. With the tubing I can bend the GonG up to 45 degrees in any direction so I don't have to be right on top of Herbie when using an HT. I am also loving never having to stir the bowl. So many things I like about this little guy, appreciating Herbie more and more every day.

Having said that, I find I don't *need* to use water/glass with Herbie. Prior to this I used glass exclusively but I find I really don't need it with Herbie since the vapor is so smooth. This vape is incredible.
