The Orion has a bit of drag and takes more pull than the upline. It seems to extract my Solo stems way faster, too! I'm telling you, man- these are the best deal out there right now. That said, I also just completed a killer deal on BM for something NOT considered cheap American glass!

Yea, so I really love the American Glass stuff. The joint could be thicker, but the glass is thick and perfect. Each piece is a different can size and mouthpiece. So again, for $300 I picked up 3 great tubes, all with different diffusion and great American thick glass. BWG is great as well. Fast Priority shipping and great customer service. They even take PayPal if you email them.

I was just running my AG 60mm upline in the rotation last night and was reminded how freakin' buttery smooth it hits. It really purrs like a kitten. Crazy good for the money. 
Well, since you're asking in this thread in particular, I'll just say that it's a chinese blown piece using brittle chinese boro. There's nothing 'quality' nor 'American' about it. And I find it's existence almost offensive when you consider what you can get for the same money (as shown in this thread).
But it does look like it would be fun to hit. Function isn't my issue with these pieces.
It's the quality of the raw boro which makes them brittle and easily broken compared to a quality boro like Schott or Simax.

I got nothing against chinese pieces. They have their place and can be good deals sometimes.
But when the piece cost the same as something made with very high quality raw materials its stops being a good deal IMHO.
I can't count how many chinese boro pieces I've went through in my life before discovering that, yes, the raw glass does make a difference to the life expectancy of the piece.

It's the biggest piece I own, and its very hefty
I was happy with he price I paid, but I've got plenty of good American glass already, this one was more of a play piece.

It's a downline.
On BWG the photo is correct, the description is not.
I have one, it's a nice little tube.
Very smooth, for it's smaller size especially.
