I wouldn't grind your herbs direct from the start, little pieces of herb and grind by hand wenn the taste
is getting less.

That way i found to preserve the taste for longer.

You can just insert the heater into the bowl, but the glass is not the thickest and it can feel like you are going to break it at times. I think it would be cool if someone had some custom attachments made for the Aromed with thicker glass, color, and a smaller bowl that tapers in to cater to smaller amounts.

The AroMed is so efficient the guy who shot that scene was too stone to attempt a 2nd try - and that was before he was finished assembling the machine...

Forget the fine details...the concept is what's really important here. A bulb is the fastest and easiest way to heat air. You simply turn it on and off. How about a miniture halide bulb? You could vape and grow nugs under it.

I can't deny my nature, it matters to me to know what's the operation mode (Pulse-Width Modulation vs Linear), the Voltage, Power Capacity, etc.

Actually I've been having daydreams about this vape!
It will place me into the rareified ranks of the glass only
vaporistist as well as water filtration.
I have no problems about the overall cosmetic looks of
the vape, in fact the hospital decor is a total non issue.
I think that being able to see that bulb light up and watch
the herbs vape as you pull through the bong thing is... hot!
I only question how small can a hit be and still be efficient.

Hi vipirtoo! Its not gonna be quite as efficent as the PD I used before but its still damn efficient. I just whacked what I had in the grinder on that vid, you dont need nearly as much tho. A small bowl goes on for some time. I normally turn it on, have 2-3 big tastey draws turn it back off, and a few minutes later im where I wanna be. One bowl half that size will last me several hours, just stir the bowl every so often.
I was baked in that vid so fummbled a bit lol. I set it up from stratch to show but obviously you only have to detatch the element unless your changing the water or cleaning. I've not had any problems with it form the moment I got it, and enjoying it more the longer I have it.

I might do another vid if I get chance mate. Just a quick one with small amount of herb in and vaping at 160C and 195C to show you.

Im not involved with any vaporisers so my opinion is totally unbiased.

I think it can be more effiicient than the PD if done right.

The PD vapes approximately 374f but the herb also sits in a chamber that stills heat the herb slowly by conduction which means the herb will release a little more chemicals as you keep puffing due to the herb being a little hotter than it would if it were just plain hot air going throught it.

The Aromed takes a little more knowledge but it can be efficient when it's used right. When you vape with the Aromed you want to fill the waterbowl up to the middle or just a little higher than where the top of the black strap is. The reason is because the water helps push out the air to keep the vapor more concentrated and also the water helps the lungs work more efficient.

It does this because water has more resistance than air and in this case it will pull more air through the herb off of very little lung power which means by the time you fill you lungs up half way it will have way more vapor than it would if you used a little water or just plain air.

Also, being that the aromed isn't sitting in a chamber like the PD damn near all of it's heating is air so you want to vape at around 392-400 if you want to really be efficient at extracting THC.

This temperature range is a major reason why the verdamper is known to get people blown away, it hits the best temperature for thc release(392F/200C) than others because other vaporizers leave you with the ability to have whatever temperature you want but if you don't know what temps certain chemicals release at you will be guessing and may not get as much out of you herb as you would if you knew.

Plus it uses water as it's "pulley" but the only thing I'm leary of is that being it's so big it will dilute the vapor with more air than I want but it's still a good vaporizer.
