Totally ripped off kief hits with this vape It's awesome!

Extracts so well, just keeps giving me thick tasty hits time after time on 12 setting. I haven't used my Solo at home since receiving it a few weeks ago.

I reeeallly want my EVO, the suspense is killing me :D

I just received a brand new mobius 60t stereo matrix. HOLY SCHNIKES BATMAN!!! Talk about a whole new level. I have been loving the hydratubes but wow... I think i had to scrape my face off the floor. I recommend you try to pair the cloud with a larger tube when you have the chance. The cloud just doesnt quit. Milking the piece at a 1 setting. I never imagined the cloud was so awesome

Almost there...
Since modding my unit to accept a new heater i have been having a lot of fun with it!

Truth be told i was not happy with it at first…
The silicone heater had a nasty smell and i felt the temperature range was too small. It has a very small sweet spot so i never move the dial, just turn it on and off.
And the glass mouthpiece was just not cutting it. My lips were drying out and the air way pretty hot on my lips and tongue, not what i was looking for...

But now it has changed!
The silicone heater smell is 95% gone, there is still a very faint silicone smell when it heats up but once up to temp it goes away.
And the narrow temp range is actually perfect for me!
I like my ABV to be a light but even brown, there can be a few flecks of green i am not that anal.

And now i have it rigged up so that i can use my one and only Pinnacle WT with it and it is amazing!!
Smooth, tasty hits.
Even light brown ABV
2 hits, stir and 2 more and the bowl is spent.
Only need to fill bowl 1/4 full for full effect!

And a few pics to show what i am talking about!
Here is the unit with the PNWT attached. I used two bits of high temp silicone tubing connected together and the seal is perfect.

And the ABV after 4 hits

So now i am happy to wait again for Herbie to arrive first and then hopefully get some shipping info from VapexHale for my EVO!

So I finally got elbs! I am getting great hits with the unit now compared to with the mini elbs ... maybe my unit doesn't get hot enough for mini elbs?

Anyway I've noticed that my chandelier tube doesn't seal around the glass on glass ... instead it seals arount the top of the elb and sits just off the ground glass joint. I noticed this with the mini elb also but hoped the actual elbs from vapexhale had a smaller lip ... no dice. The dry glass tube that came with the cloud + has a modified shorty glass joint that sits low on the bamboo joint and covers about 2/3 of the male joint with a bubble on top so the elb has clearance from the glass while the vb tube has a normal female joint.

The seal around the top of the elb and the chandelier is close to air tight so it still works ... guess I'm just ocd about my vapes.

I am going ocd mental with the elb > VB Hydratube seal. Its such a shame. It keeps pulling my elb out and gets stuck in the tube. Im gonna try grind the lip down on an elb when get some more. And its not just the hydratube the damn elb gets caught on several of my good quality joints as well. I wondered if the newer version of elb's have a slightly smaller lip diameter.

I have the newest elbs and they are too wide. One of these days I'll get around to grinding one or 2 down with the dremel. I had 1 18mm adapter that worked beautifully with elbs that was made by Oregon glass blower but my dang cat knocked it of the table the other day  ordered another cheaper adapter ... got my fingers crossed

I bought this 45 degree adapter and use it with everything because of that. It also helps keep the unit out of your face when taking hits. Can't be 100% certain about all of them but I have 3 adapters from Oregon Glass Blower and they are all ELB friendly. He also makes some straight adapters, female to female, etc. Good guy and good stuff.

Yeah cool, Oregon sounds good. I tried several adapters and had the same issue so I'll give them a try. cheers!

Best luck I've found is using the double ELB cap method for concentrates.

I hate doing it though because it requires higher heat.

Hey guys anyone try there unit at the high end with concentrates yet? I got some sick looking stuff I'd like to try.

Yup, I put a dabs worth in some organic McFinns cotton, stuck that in the ELB and cranked it up to 3 and it milked quite nicely. No mess either.

I didn't have as much luck with a mini-ELB as with the sandwich method in an ordinary ELB. The mini-ELB was too far away from the heat or something, and I couldn't get thick vapor even at max temp. Plus it made a mess. I hit the sandwich method at 3 o'clock in the normal ELB though and got a bunch of thick clouds.

I will try the sandwich method. I did the mini Elb at 3. Delicious vapor. I wonder what this stuff is. It was so good tasting. Anyway when the whisps ran dry I pulled the Melb out and no residue clean. Touch on the bamboo that is it. Lack of milk could have been how teeny tiny the dab was. I'm not much of a dabber. Not a regular thing But I'm vaked. Very.

Onto the VB water tool: @Tstat sold me his and a sick dead foot stand. I'll have to get you guys a pic. Yes the label is hideous. But I haven't noticed the seal of the gong being a problem. It doesn't strike me as perfect. But it hasn't given me an issues. I also haven't hit it that much. Doesn't do it for me as much as my other piece. Not as smooth. I also thought it would be bigger. The standard VXL HT's are really smaller than the VB? That seems crazy. My only complaint would have been if I paid $230. That perc is not as nice and precise and smooth as a $230 perc. For the money it is good.

Well, they're longer than most HT's. Which style water tool did you get?

I have the same one. I think I know what you mean then. Maybe a HT with lighter diffusion and less drag than the chandelier would be nice, at least for variety. I'm looking at a couple of the water tools from GBD. The multi-use fritted one looks nice, but I don't know much about glass. I heard that frits in general introduce a lot of drag and diffusion. Does anyone have that piece and the chandelier for comparison, or have any opinions on this?

We're here to fuck shit up.
I find the Chandelier to be pretty much drag free. If you are finding the drag to be too heavy with the Chandelier then you would really not enjoy the fritted GBD piece. There is a fair amount of drag and restriction while using that piece.

OK, thanks deadshort. I'll have to experiment some more. I like the chandelier but sometimes it seems like there might be something better for just sipping out of, as opposed to doing bong-style rips.

I don't know, man. When it comes to the Cloud or EVO I always rip. For me sipping is something I do with vapes like my PNP or the LSV with the transfer wand. The Cloud is for huge head destroying rips. Again, this is just how I do.

i agree!!! this is the only vape i can just rip into and it just feels right!! also makes it easier for my non-vaping friends to enjoy a session with me as they are all used to just ripping

Yeah. My issue with the VB is not drag. I don't really notice any. It just isn't as smooth as my other piece. I also agree the cloud is not a sipper. I actually was not in love when I was trying to sip. Riping it is where it is at.

Almost there...
As far as i am concerned the seller has disappeared!
He peomised to send me a new heater and bamboo because both units he sent me were DOA!
I have sent him numerous friendly e mails and no response!
So i still have my modded Cloud but no original heater...
