FakeXhale Cloud (Unauthorized and Unsupported)

To daverus:
most of the legit Cloud plus are no longer functioning

I think this is inaccurate and I know that there is no real evidence to back up that claim. Just want to throw that out there. Obviously the legit +'s share issues with these, same mfg, and failure rates would be similar I presume. :2c:

Have you seen the latest pictures of open Clouds? He is reinforcing them with high temperature epoxy, something he didn't do with the other ones, so failure rates are smaller. Also, he has been repairing or replacing broken ones, just read the last few pages of this forum.

Reinforcing with his own procedures not intended by vapexhale, and unauthorized. There is also no proof that there are less failure rates because of this. I think everybody here has read through the pages of info here, if you had, you would read just a page before that someone sent in a DOA to be repaired and was sent another DOA, and now he has resorted to a makeshift fix. I have yet to see any real proof of working units, in fact if you read this thread from the beginning, it seems as if the original poster and only a few after were able to get working units without many hitches, and the further you read you see more DOA's, wrong units sent, not responding to emails etc.

Maybe you and I have been reading different pages.
As far as I'm concerned only one person has done his own repair, out of 200+ units, and that was his choice before he could get another one as replacement.
Dude, the evidence speaks for itself, the fact that you choose not to see it, that's your choice.
Peace.

I have yet to see any real proof of working units,
Are you serious?
I have two BTW, is that enough proof for you? LOL
Sorry Mods, you could merge these last two posts.

Ya we must be reading different pages, make sure your reading the thread titled "FakeXhale Cloud super super cheap (Unauthorized and Unsupported)" - in there you can read where most people have complained about all the issues they have had with their units, the seller, and return/refund problems and only a small few who have had success.

The evidence is abundantly clear by not only the people who have purchased one (including myself) but by the staff of FC who have chosen not to support the units.

Did you even purchase one of these units? Do you own a real cloud? Where are you getting your info from?

Are you serious?

Wow so you wasted money of two fakexhales, when you could have bought one real one? Enough said.

@daverus, @mestizo, and @canj00digit?: I just deleted 10 posts of petty squabbling from you three, some of which clearly violated our Be Nice rules. That will be quite enough along this line. I was tempted to leave the posts so that you could all look back on them later and see how much you embarrassed yourselves, but it's the holiday season so there are no warning points—yet. If any of you continue, I will not be as charitable.

Really?
And I thought that by keeping this going I was going to increase my post count in no time.
No, seriously, I was starting to get a little tired of it.
Thank for intervening Pakalolo.

Yeah, that was funny. You'll have to wait until next year, huh dorkus? ;)

Anyway, my fakecloud+ works fine as far as I can tell, but that is a good point that I've never used any other kind of cloud and thus have nothing to compare it to. I'm pretty sure we would have already heard in this thread if the fakeclouds were much different from the "official" clouds though. But any comments from those who have both is appreciated.

edit- And, Happy Holidays everyone.

Not sure if this helps but my experience is usually people post when they are unhappy with an item and not the reverse. The reason i bought a fake cloud was because i love my buddies legit cloud so much. When we saw this opportunity we ordered 2, one for me and a backup for him incase anything ever happens to his (he couldnt imagine going without). We have had the two units since they became aailable and he is using his fake unit as his daily user because the glass bamboo on his legit unit broke about a year ago (it still works like normal though, glass just doesnt extend throuogh the entire unit).

Anyway, both units are working the same as the legit unit. They are perfect and they rock. They get used daily by both of us and neither have a complaint. I am not posting this to say others are lying about their issues or as a haha mine works. It is merely to show that not all units are bad. I am willing to bet more are fine than not. Its just we are only hearing about the negatives which unfortunately seems to be the norm with todays society.

Oh yeah, while i cannot express how much i love that i was able to get this wonderful piece for such a low price i hate what they did to vapexhale. I figured at the end of the day someone was going to buy it so why not me. Please dont hold it against me. Opportunity knocked. I can confidently say i will order an evo soon because like my firend i cannot imagine not having a cloud even for one session.

Vape on my friends.

Thanks for the info. So I guess the fakeclouds essentially perform the same as the "real" clouds in terms of performance.

I've been trying to find out info about how the cloud heater works. Can anyone tell me or have any links to info about how the heater provides more heat with stronger inhales? I've been wading through the cloud thread but it's long. Is it a large thermal mass that makes this possible or a powerful heater that responds to heat sensor(s) immediately, or what? It's strange how it seems to take a good ten minutes to heat up but then provides all the heat needed even with huge quick rips.

I think it's a combo of thermal mass and surface area. The heating element wraps around the glass bamboo and heats the majority of it and glass retains heat very well.

So I got my grinder and ELBs yesterday. Had a friend over who had to leave at 6 (and wasn't participating) so I started heating it up right around 530. Started prepping, grinding my herb, loading ELBs (3, shared with one other person). By probably 830, I was super high. Higher than I've ever been in my life. Couch lock like hell. I took a nap at 9. Woke up at 10 for work, clocked in at 11. Still pretty high; until maybe 1/130.

Definitely need a water tool of some type because at first I thought it might not be working/heating properly because the top half was holdable the entire time (cranked it up to 1 o'clock at one point, trying to confirm whether or not it was working). The problem was I wasn't pulling hard enough. So I turned it way down and pulled really hard and got decent vapor but that shit was hot. Hotter than I thought. So for the rest of the session I just turned it up and pulled not so hard. Probably missed some actives that way, but I'll take that L in exchange for not burning my mouth/throat up.

@Cwittneben pretty much took the words out of my mouth/said it better. Definitely going to get an EVO. We'll see when VXL is ready to take regular orders.

As far as water tools go, I think I'm gonna order something from jhanpixel. He makes pretty good stuff for decent prices plus 10% off for FC members.

.....but that shit was hot. Hotter than I thought.

I take it you are using the provided glass mouthpiece? I can't handle using mine either, burns and chaps my lips. IDK how people use them.

I've found a 18mm female to 14mm male adapter + silicone tubing is much more forgiving with heat. Turns the VXC into a whip vape, which is awesome. No need to trust someone holding your baby, :D. Only problem is, the whip starts getting pretty hot at the end of the glass adapter. Adding some length to the glass or another adapter fixes that. It's giving my SSV a run for it's money, almost, ;).

It's my preferred method now. So simple and easy. No water changes to deal with, no priming your water pipe, or lifting the cloud/cloudbuddy stopper. Flavor is just as good if not better IMO. It's really sped my session times up.

I find water to be not as necessary with the cloud as other vapes. The ELBs have a really fine screen, so no worries about dust/particles making its way through.

But boy is glass fun to use and collect.:evil::evil:

Have you seen the DHGate bubbler so popular now. Neat little piece for only ~$30.

Yes, I'm using the dry MP that came with it. Not even sure why they sell it that way lol. But I guess it can't come with no MP whatsoever. People would probably look at it weird.

I'm not crazy about the whip thing, but that's one idea. I was looking between a straight pipe and a bub with Dewar joint. I like the straight (it's a king stemline with an hourglass ice restrictor) for cooling. But the little Dewar bub will definitely be more portable and easier to pull.

I like the provided mouthpiece. It provides the best flavor for the first few sips, compared to a variety of other mouthpieces, bubblers and watertools I have. I set my fakecloud to 2 or 3 o'clock on the dial and don't have to pull very hard- just sips. After the flavor deteriorates I sometimes pull the rest in one big rip from my chandelier. But some of the fun is using different set-ups.

I don't take issue with it for general usage. I just also want a way to get this crazy vape milk I'm seeing all over the place without burning my mouth off.
