Regarding the comparison to the VG, i find that it is indeed easier to use, more efficient due to the smaller bowl and the smooth surface of the aluminium air path vs wood, and the taste is improved as well, especially after a few months because the VG is virtually uncleanable.

I still believe it wouldn't be hard to insert a glass tube inside the wood or inside the aluminium stem in the Lotus to further improve on taste.

I've finally assembled all the pieces to my Lotus travel kit. Got an Aerospaced medium 2 piece container from Vapeworld today. The herb scoop fits nicely inside the container, and all the parts fit well in the Lotus bag.

I use the WPA with my DIY Goldschlager bong. I would like to get an actual bubbler, but deciding between that and a nice J hook. :shrug:

The screen mesh is a little smaller than I than I thought and so the bong got pretty dirty pretty quickly. Put it through many o' scoops since Thursday. :nod:

Nice bong you got yourself there! :)

Careful with putting the vapor cap together with other stuff in the pouch... It is a certainty that your hot plate will dent a lot eventually! ;)

Got my Lotus WPA kit as an early Christmas from my gf. Been really enjoying it so far, its getting more use than all my other vapes combined. I dig the manual aspect of this vape. There's so much I love about it actually ,what don't I love? Only (very )minor negative is I am constantly burning myself with the cap when trying to clear the bowl, and that is my clumsiness/stupidness to blame really.

I tried it with the WPA yesterday as well, ungrinded to maximize taste, and it was cloud village. Very nice, the extraction is pretty similar to my HI which is my favorite vape and my daily driver.

And since last friday that i only used the Lotus, which is very promising to say the least. :cool:

I put 4 drops of GD tincture into a small swatch of cotton which completely saturated it. Let it evaporate overnight. Emptied Lotus bowl of all herb and then placed cotton-tinc in Lotus Vape and hit it twice...lung busters both! Total satisfactory effect - POWERFUL:ko:! EDIT: I find it interesting that when vaping a drop or two of the GD, I'm getting very medicated immediately. The effect is as strong as the 1.5cc sublingual, though I don't expect it to last as long. Wow, what a great, clean, efficient way to serve and conserve!

the lotus is keeping me so f*in happy :)

i could even resist the urge to buy an enano despite the 20% discount!

but since getting my technique down i consistently get an ideal extraction, the perfect balance of thickness and efficiency. all backed up in an incredibly satisfying ritual, i find myself getting conditioned quite heavily :D i feel a wave of pleasure rushing through my body when i hear the little explosion of the lighter starting the session... this wave levels out in sly grin as i hear the soft whispering resonance of the flame caressing the metal plate and see my minitube blue/white-wall with thick, heavenly tasting vapor :D

the lotus is a teacher of the art of vaping :)

So shortly after my last post the other day we lost power for over 24hrs here due to a bad ice storm. I was so god damn happy to have this thing!!:tup:It's still getting me super baked too. Had a friend and my father both try it yesterday and they were shocked :o at how little got them so high.

Yeah, the power is always going off here. No problem with the lotus.

Where do you all get extra o-rings for the wpa? I accidentally ripped my little one when I went to pull it off for cleaning this morning. Do you all take those off when soaking the wpa in iso? I already emailed lotus asking if they had more, but are those just standard size o-rings which can be gotten elsewhere?

Not sure on the size , but the red ones are usually high temperature silicone o-rings. The lotus doesnt get to hot but it can so I would suggest the high temp ones just in case.
I found a standard black (rubber Probably) oring for now since I dont get the wpa that hot but will soon re-place.

Thanks og. That sounds like it's probably right that the different colors are different materials. I'm finding it pretty hard to find red/silicone ones in a variety of small sizes. Anyway, mendocino therapeutics offered to send me a couple with my next order so I'm going to get some from them.

Yeah, online you can find them but at a store I had issues finding anything remotely close to those.
MT are top notch, way to go , glad you will be all set up.
I wish I coud find a high temp oring variety pack of all assorted sizes but still haven't found one.
Theres a store near me that makes and carries them GRANGER, I will eventually make my way over there to get some.
