A question on the KISS cart. Is it okay to hold it upside down while its on to try and get the wax on the cup? I have tried a few times with a flick of the wrist at the end for it to hit the coil.

I dont see why not, worse case you get oil in the mouthpiece or your mouf.

@THC SCIENTIFIC Will you guys be selling parts for the SR-71? I ask because I broke off a prong in the SS "rod holder" while switching from black rod up to white rod. After using the black rod, the holder is expanded, and after I applied some heat the process of squeezing together (i used my fingers and tweezers) I broke off a piece. To add to that I sat on the persei with the SR-71 and cracked the bottom insulator's threading (i know i know, i am fucking accident prone). At this point you guys have helped me out so much I am not looking for a replacement, but rather I would like to buy it if its available.

Edit: even with the damage the SR-71 still works! and the main reason why I dont think the SR-74 is for me.

So, I finally ordered my SS kit and a couple of 2.0 ohm KISS carts. For those of you who have both an SR-71 and KISS carts, I have a question regarding taste. If there was a scale from one to ten with ten being the best, where would you place the SR-71 on the scale and where would you place the KISS carts?

the KISS cart can taste almost as good as the SR71, as long as pulse the heat not letting it get too hot.

Hey guys! Been scanning through this entire thread (i feel like a beautiful mind) and I wanted to get all your opinions on if the Persei is the right choice for me.

I know it is mainly a oil/concetrate vape but that wouldn't be my use for it. I've been looking for sleek portable for herbs and the look/functionality of the persei has been drawing me in. I'd be interested in using only herbs or herbs + ejuice (when i saw this was possible my mind almost consumed itself).

I understand that the unit is longer with the 8 attached (8.5" i think?), but, would I be able to vape herbs using the SS on-the-go kit with the 8 or the hercules?

Would you guys say this would be the right choice for me? I don't know of any other vape that can do herbs and ejuice together and that's a big selling point for me. As well as the sexy look and the awesome support from THC. I also really like all the attachments and the modular design. I'd be interested in getting the bender for at home herb usage but that wouldn't be until much further down the line.

Basically, what would I need to make this a functional herb/ejuice unit for on the go purposes? It doesn't need to be that small, just pocketable. W9tech has many interesting options and I'm uncertain if I should get the hercules or the 8 or what's really going on in general lol.

HALP ME LOVE THIS LIKE I WANT TO :D

The 8 is an upcoming attachment for the Persei. There was a thread here on it, but I cant find it at the moment. Not sure if its the same design.

@Yoosh
First off I've never heard of anyone mixing e-juice with their herbs. Does not sound good for either the e-juice taste or the herb taste. :puke:
Maybe you read something about people mixing their concentrate with e-juice, or mixing their herbs with concentrates. Those are all possible good combinations.
Since you are primarily using this for herb, then I would suggest the Bender. The 8 is unreleased and details are very slim at the moment so if you wait that also might be a viable option.

@THC SCIENTIFIC @nao12000
once again they save the day! Thanks guys

Sorry, I jumped the gun. In that case, G has something up his sleeve for the e-cig market. coming soon....:mmmm:

But for now, yes persei can handle e-juice with the e-juice tank. And a Bender/Core combo would be ideal for herbs.

Right yeah I'd like to vape herb on the go and then switch over to an ejuice tank easily. Also, i'd like to be able to do the dual cart set up with herb and ejuice together as well. Is that possible? G responded to someone like a hundred pages back saying it was possible so I just wanted to doublecheck. Like, could I connect an ejuice tank and the hercules (or something else?) for herbs at the same time and then take that with me for on the go usage?

The bender looks amazing but I'd like to stick to something more portable then get the bender later for home use.

Edit: Herb is the top priority though. I want to vape herb in my car or wandering about the city etc.

Guys Guys Guys.

@Yoosh if you are looking mainly for a herb vape please check out the Pax. It is simply the one i would recommend for herbs everything else we have tried just does not measure up to its claims.

Ok now back to Guys Guys Guys and Gals

The 8 was an herb attachment for the Persei long ago but we opted not to produce it because of its size. No one likes to have a dildo size in front of their face not that we know of.

So the 8 turned into a vaporizer in by itself and its not a herb vaporizer just a top of the line Oil vaporizer. thats all it is.

Has anyone sent in their double top for warranty? Did you get a double top back or a new single top? I sent my single in for a new one after frying it with my herc. Just wondering what happens with doubles...

@Yoosh the HErcules SR-71 or the SR-74 can do both but its not the best for herbs. Unless you do oil and herb at the same time.

On the site it says the hercules sr-74 can handle essential oils or loose leaf?? Wouldn't that work ok for my purposes, or no?

So you wouldn't recommend for just herb? What would constitute an oil? Like, does it have to be a concentrate/wax/etc or can it just be simple basic non-thc essential oils? The reason being that I don't have access to anything besides herbs (medicinally speaking) currently but I can easily get normal essential oils/ejuices/whatever..

hey guys i bought an arizer solo about a month ago and im not a big fan. I have to pull quite hard and it doesn't get me as medicated as I like it too (comparable to bowls, or even lesser)

Do you guys think this one would suit me more? How does it compare with the solo?

planet vape has a variety of stems that reduce the restricted draw for the solo. regarding the second part, i'm trying to figure that out now. :)

To use the Herc mainly for Herbs would be just wrong totally wrong.

Now if you use mainly oil and want to use it sometimes for herb you can. Now the cool thing about the Herc is that it can do Fractional vaporization. Bob Loblaw has done it and it takes some scissors and a stainless screen we currently do not have.

What you do is cut a 35% coil, load up your oil, then put a screen on top of that, and then load up your herbs.

Once the Oils starts vaping and then soon as the herbs get hot then it starts vaping the herbs.

Its a conduction/convection system.

You're doing it wrong, especially if you're trying to pull hard and aren't getting heavily medicated. That unit is proven time and time again. Post up in the Solo thread and you'll get it sorted out.
