mine came with an 100 -240 V adapter and I only needed a wall plug adapter from US to EU plug not an actual step down converter as you seem to have there?
You only need a plug adapter, yes. His step-down keeps it within supported voltages though, so I don't see any reason it wouldn't work. :)

can anyone tell me where in this thread we start talking about the new Solo's that have increased airflow?

I'm not sure that's more than conjecture. Someone 'in the know' (PV?) posted that the changes included 'changes to increase convection effects' or some such. I think then someone suggested the holes were now bigger in the cup. Nobody, I think, has done an A/B test on this, I've been watching since IMO there's going to be a huge variation in draw due to age and loosen of the seal to account for?

I'm also interested if this decreases battery life by increasing inefficiency as normally happens with convection over conduction.

Edit: Here you go, it all started with this post from PV I think:

Seriously? I just posted the 1st two posts on the subject of the newest models on last page.

IMO 5 is more like 4 was on old one, 7 isn't as harsh as it was previously so probably more in line with 6 on old one. I don't notice that much of a difference in draw.

Well.. damn.. my Solo died :(

I only had it for a couple of weeks (an M1B1) and [...] different light shows [...] Didn't help either [...] in Europe so I'm dreading sending the thing back in [...] through massdrop

Following up on this, I contacted Massdrop and... they promptly offered to send me a new one, shipping tomorrow, no charge, and I get to keep the old one too :whoa:

Now that's just.. top notch in my book. Thank you Massdrop.

Oh right. I guess it could get loose with age. I figured out mine works while it's charging too without the other charger

Here's my Black Leaf. I like using it with my Solo even more than my Blaze bubbler. When you pull on this thing the reistance feels so low. It erases the "milkshake draw". My Blaze bubbler doesn't have that same effect. I have to pull longer and harder on the Blaze. I seem to get bigger, tastier clouds from the Black Leaf. And this thing is so comfortable to use which makes it a perfect match for those long Solo sessions. I also find it more enjoyable to invert my Solo and carb it that way rather than pulling off a WT. You would really dig this mouthpiece, ataxian.

Edit: Here it is along with my Blaze. You can probably tell from this pic that the Black Leaf provides the perfect ergonomics to use it while sitting down. No need to hunch over for 15 seconds at a time like a PNWT requires you to do. Both of these pieces are nice in that regard but I still like the Black Leaf more. It's very fun to use and gives me big clouds fast.

When it's running normally, hold the left button down a few seconds, toggles on and off. Test to confirm (no 'answer back' for silent....).

Holding the right button down recalls the last heat step setting, BTW.

Me too. The other day I tried showing a guy how to use a friends (who had it turned off), I was a mess until I realized the sucker was turned off...... I didn't hear the beep and didn't know what to do next......

Where I really like it is when I'm using it and it times out. Without the beep I get to wondering how come the hits got so thin.

Just shipped o-rings!!! Took me a while cause I was sick but you guys who needed one should have a "shipped today" notification in your mail boxes. If not, its because you did not provide name and address.
