Discontinued VapeXhale Cloud EVO

I heard 47 min was what the auto shut off seems to be. I find mine is between 45-50 min, but I never remember to keep and eye on it during the crucial final min to see when it is... a watched pot never boils type thing.

weedemon,
So the more and more I get used to the EVO the more and more it I believe that had this been day 1 first time around and this would actually be the cloud.

This last week alone I've used more flower than oil for the first time in a long while. For me I've really taken a liking to mixing concentrates and flowers in combination with the EVO. The taste as always with my original cloud blows my mind and the extraction (if used properly) is rivaled by no one.

Now, with that said I have noticed a few performance variations in comparison to the original.

I believe with newly designed bamboo it holds it's core temperature more and tends to run a bit warm. Not a bad thing but if I'm going to walk a way for a moment it would be best to remove the ELB to prevent pre-mature evaculation.

The other thing is it's timing. I get a green light anywhere from 2.06 to 2.17 but I get nothing but wispy vapor until the 6 minute mark.

My house is usually between 72° and 75° and I start at 12.

Anyone else having similar results?
Maybe similar? I get vapor at the green light but it's nothing like the thick vapor I see. But if I turn it on to max I can get good vapor going just a few minutes after green. Try turning it up to max and then slowly
Turning it back to noon.

1. Start video camera.
2. Point camera at EVO.
3. Turn on EVO.
4. Blitz!
5. Watch video and see when EVO times out.

is that green in the mouthpiece from the bamboo led?

They look brighter than the cloud+ ?

Teedub,
Yea I want one of those new EVO monkey shirts. Why was I never contacted about sending my old cloud in? Was I supposed to just send that in? Or put in a support ticket? ????

If yours is a Trade-In, IIRC only proof of purchase will be required. You keep your old unit. I don't think you need to do anything at the moment.

Their seems to be a couple of minor problems with the Evo but I think it says soooo much that you could spend so much money for a product and still be so satisfied despite the flaws that you are reluctant to send it back for repairs, replacement, or just simply demanding your money back. I mean come on ANY thing else you purchase that gives even the slightest malfunction or problem you want your money back immediately. Yet for fear of being without the beloved EVO for even a moment people would rather just deal with it. That is AWESOME! VAPEXHALE ROCKS!!

Except my unit is broken and I would rather get the $50 in store credit. So support ticket?

Also I woke up this morning and turned on the EVO. I turned it to max like I always do and it went green. I licked up an elb to fill it but it was filled with some stuff we had already been hitting last night. So I just stuck it in and started hitting. Everything seemed fine I cleared it and went to empty it out into my ABV jar and I see a cherry. So combustion must have happened after or while I was pouring the elb out. Weird huh? I know I saw at least one person saying that happened.

Sorry, don't know about the in-store credit. Probably the support ticket is the way to go.

So your unit was set on max? That's combustion territory for flowers, especially extra dry from a previous session. And that can happen after the unit is turned off because of the EVO's heat retention.

Why do you find it "weird" that hitting dry ABV from the previous evening on max, a concentrate setting, burned it? I must admit, I am confused as well, but by totally different things . . . The heater on EVO is powerful and will heat EVO much more quickly than the unit will radiate heat back into the atmosphere. Think about it. These high power warm ups people are doing are really unnecessary, and actually can impede performance imho. If I wish to bring some heat up more quickly I just put the HydraTube on top, no ELB, and just pull some air through. This makes the heater work harder and brings things up to temp without supersaturating the unit, but I never even bother because EVO heats so quickly . . .

I just found it weird it seemed to happen so quickly. This was from a cold first start of the morning. But I'm betting it was the very dry ABV just sitting in the elb that was to blame.

I calculated 144, That should get them through all if not most of the early birds. Assuming all of the fanatics already have theirs.
