We're shipping the first bunch out tomorrow. Estimated shipping for any given vape will be 4-5 business days. That's basically us building it the day the order comes in (or the next day if the order comes in late in the day), then 3 days of burn-in testing then package and ship.

You can use the above to get an idea of approximately when your Dog should get on it's way. :peace:

The underdog was my tool of choice to end a little two week break I was taking last night. A tenth of a gram later and I was still feeling it for... 3 1/2 hours? Have not been that vaped out for a long while!

What stems where you using Darkedhunter?

I have been using the simple glass stem almost exclusively since I got my UD earlier this year. I find it's easy to adjust how far the bowl is from the heating element, in effect giving very basic temperature control with the wall wart. Not to mention the amount used can be varied quite a bit. I had success loading anything from .05 to .2 in my time using it, with differences manifesting as changes to the number of hits (there is always plenty of vapor, but the smaller loads tend to be done 2-4 big hits). It's also very easy for me to collect the wand reclaim, just give the UD a dry hit (or a wet one, they both work ;)) to warm the stem and it wipes right off.

That all being said, it is time to get the WonG back in business, so I'll be ordering some glass liners today :p

Hey UDs! The guys over at Vapor Review Blog are hosting another contest - a holiday themed contest - here on FC for your chance to win another Lost Dog Underdog. Even if you've got your hands full of dogs, you can always gift your winnings to someone who doesn't have one this holiday season. :D

For some extra holiday cheer, Dave will be throwing in some extra direct draw and GonG stems. See their FC thread for details!

Hey UDs, is there anyone who's ordered a Full Size Cherry piece that did not ship today want to trade in for a Twig size Cherry or upgrade to Walnut for free? We're having a supply issue with the full size cherry stock. First come, first serve. I only need 2 or 3 volunteers. :)

Thanks to the few of you Dogs who answered Underdogette's call above.. I think with your help we'll have things covered. If not we'll re-announce and let some the rest of you have another swing at a free upgrade to walnut.

For those of you who might have been wondering what the problem was, a certain dude  may have miscounted a certain stack of cherry UD blanks and caused all this headache. Bad dude, bad! :goon:

My entry doubles as a underdog milkshot with the new GonG stem :D

Happy Holidaze!

What is the average warm up time for the twig model (wall wart)? and lets say I didn't want to have it constantly on could I use it with a timer?

Thanks!

I think you'll be good to go by 10 mins. You should be able to use a timer. If you want to get super fancy you can look into a Wemo and turn it off and on remotely. Ha!

Also, the twig that I received seems to run super hot. It scorches the herb fairly well. No combustion I don't think but the taste isn't all that great. I have a feeling it may be user error or the fact that it was an 'early standard'. I used it with a PD stem. I'm not too crazy about the plain silicone with the screen in it but I imagine that I could get better results with them because I can control how far the herb is from the heater. These are just my very early thoughts. I can't believe how small and light it is. It's a beautiful piece and I suspect I may need to get a VVPS to cool the temp down a bit.

I might have the same situation on my hands. I think I almost combusted a couple of times. No ash, but very dark abv. It seems to affect the taste some, but the vapor I'm getting is insanely dense. More later.

That's basically what mine looked like. Unfortunately I don't have much to experiment with. Boo

Magic9 thats what my ud's leavings look like to. Have been using the nylon stem, got the glass direct draw coming hoping to move the herb farther away from the heat. If that doesnt work I'll look in to vvps, I do notice taste is much better during heat up, and clouds are still as thick. Need to do some fine tuning but I really like vaping

I had a question about the holiday vapes:

Are they all straight and "plain" shaped? Or will some have some of the funky detail. I love the detailed ones.

Stoobus,
Never had a vaporizer before, is the nylon stem suppose to fit snug or do you have to hold the stem in place on the heating element?
