Any reviews on th
so after my first night with my new ceramic wick i have been pleasantly surprised.
First things first I tested the heater, made sure she warmed up and what not, smelt for anything funny. As before it was perfect, tidy and clean. Love the ceramic pole, looks a lot more crisp and less deadly looking than the fibre wick. Not that the fibre wick looks bad really, more just when it has been used a lot.

Now for performance, I did the usual and seasoned the coil a little with just a tad of concentrate. Next I loaded my normal amount, a little tiny pea sized dab, placed it on the coil, melted it on a bit and she was ready. So far the coils all act the same, albeit the ceramic one being a little easier to load due to the sturdier ceramic pole also the coil being a little lower. My first hit was a little lack luster, not a huge cloud, still good taste just not big performance. Compared to the fibre wick I noticed maybe the wire/coil didnt heat up as fast, so all I did was press down the button a few seconds longer and ba BOOOOOOM. clooooouds on cloudss. For me I just had to adjust my technique a little to get the same quality hit as the fibre wick. The fibre wick holds more concentrate, less moving stuff around that fell to the bottom, but I noticed I could still get the oil to go back on the coil without removing the top for the ceramic wick. just had to fiddle around.

After getting the new ceramic I am proly going to switch over and make it my daily driver. The taste, although not a huge difference, is definitely noticeable to me. SO DAMN clean tasting, tastes like it smells almost haha. As for efficiency, it may have decreased from the fibre wick, but I find tilting the pen and hitting it different ways allows the oil to flow back to coil. So far I really like the ceramic coil, just the overall cleanliness and look, really appeals to me personally. I tried it on my ego twist quick as well a 3.2 yet it heated up quite a bit quicker than on my dabbler battery so I figured just sticking with my dabbler battery for the ceramic wick.

Overall you can never go wrong with anything from vaporbros.
e heaters with the solid ceramic wick?
Edit, found one!

I bought a Dabbler from VaporWarehouse over the weekend, and the Ceramic Core heater is excellent. Like rekrab said, the very first hit comes out light, while subsequent hits are decent. I would even say the the hits are on the "heavy" side after the initial draw. I have no experience with the fiber wicks on these, but from using fiber on other pens, the ceramic core definitely tastes cleaner, and seems to wick just as well. After all material is used up, it also looks cleaner than the fiber.

Overall, the Dabbler is a great pen that is built well and feels like thought was put into key elements, which make the vaping experience that much better. The battery and casing feels heavy and well-coated (I bought the black one). The ceramic bowl is spacious and heats evenly. The threads feel clean, and all joints are sealed well. I will definitely be recommending these to anyone looking for the "next best pen."

Only one small thing that I did not like: the nice little case that the Dabbler comes in does not fully close with the USB adapter folded up and put inside. There's about a 1/4 inch gap that prevents you from fully closing it and having the charger with you.

Thanks for the report, glad you liked it, hopefully they'll get more in stock soon.

I had trouble with the adapter in my case as well until I realized the adapter isn't really square. That is if you force them into the cavity 'side by side' rather than one half over the other the top closes fine. You'll notice it's much harder to get them in this way rather than rotated 90 degrees more? That's a clue.....

BTW, you can also lip the liners out and not fight it, but it's not so tidy that way and stuff rattles, I put mine back in.

Welcome to the Forums, lots of good folks about with useful experiences to share.....and now we have one more!

I had case issue also originally, mine would pop open all the time whether the adapter was in there or not. Vaporbrothers sent me a replacement and I have not had an issue with the one they sent, works perfectly with or without the adapter. I surely do love my dabbler!!!

I have never had any issue closing my case.
try to place the Dabbler charger exactly as it came, and it will work.
The only issue I ever had was that the dab tool rolls around in there, so I threw in a tiny piece of sponge to keep it still.

No trouble with the case here, it works great and is very compact. As Vitolo said, everything fits nice and snugly except for the little glass dab tool. My only problem is that the mouthpiece doesn't fit snugly at all, in fact, it's so loose that I have to hold it in place when taking a hit or it would come off. I've since ordered a couple more from VaporWarehouse with the same result. That's my only negative comment on the Dabbler. I use it everyday and I love it! Easy to load, stealth, great taste, nice thick hits, reputable company, safe materials, great customer service....What's not to love!!

Has anyone found an alternative mouthpiece for the dabbler?

Try teflon tape around the mouthpiece, then insert it.
Stretch it tightly when putting it on!
it conforms well to shape, and will stand up to heat!

Great idea! I was thinking about using some material to make it fit tighter, but I didn't want to use a material that was unsafe. I'll try Teflon tape as long as it is safe and can withstand a little heat. Being that the mouthpiece is a ways away from the heat source anyway, I'm sure the Teflon tape would be safe with the limited amount of heat it would actually be exposed to. I'll give it a shot...

google heat resistant Teflon tape

I did and found that it has excellent heat resistant properties up to 260C! Should work great! I'm going to pick some up at Home Depot this afternoon. I'll let you know how it works out.....thanks

Hello everyone! I've been a long time lurker here at FC and after seeing all of you rave about the Dabbler I have purchased one from VaporWarehouse! I desperately needed something portable to compliment the DBV which I feel is somewhat limiting. I just wanted to thank all of you for the feedback that you have left which made choosing a vape pen a much simpler task! I can't wait for my dabbler to arrive

Me either! It's always exciting having a new toy in the mail! I nabbed a stainless model, what did you get?

OK disagree with me, I can't force you to be right
So I'm thinking that something to carry one's vaping substance in that would fit in the USB charger slot would be good. Something easy to refill and access on the go. One less thing to carry around separately.

Any ideas?

How would you transfer it to the heating chamber?

Isn't that what the included tool is for? I'm just talking about a couple of reloads worth.
I also carry a matchstick or two to "work" the material around the heater core.

Sure, but you'd carry that around too? Mine is so mucked up I have trouble finding a place to put it down. Even if I cleaned it I can't see using it if I were out somewhere.

I carry around a few round toothpicks.
Wax and oil comes right off it with a twist against any surface (including your fingertips)

You can store it inside a business card folded in half.....
Or you can throw it away after each use.

I don't know how to post a new thread so I had to reply to this one, but I have been following this forum for a few days now and read most of the beginning posts during a search for my First Vape Pen!! So here I am reading along and I find this one, so I start reading the thread and I saw the reviews were great and everything looked A -OK. So I proceeded with my purchase of the Dabbler! No joke arrived in 3 days(I'm in california maybe that's why, still, awesome,) I placed orders through several companys for black friday several days before even looking online for a vape pen, and this order still came first( in exception to ONE item from Wal-mart) but they arrived same day! I come home thinking I would have to charge my Dabbler...(Due to reading earlier reviews from feb-march, I expected different results as like the ones I read in the reviews...) NO-WAY, open it up and it has a sticker on the packaging(after I couldn't find the case due to the fact it's so small and I didn't open up the little box thinking to myself, there's no way the case is in the box W/ the vape, swear I was about to call VapeBros! LOL!) after finding the case and all...haha, there's a sticker that says FULLY CHARGED AND READY FOR FIRST USE. I was stoked! No charging had to be done, just put that baby together and made sure it worked, which it did! so I proceeded to load some wax into my FREE togo nonstick carry case for my oil, and waited a few more hours (because I had to go do some stuff, didnt want to get to blasted) Don't worry, I had everything in my pocket already at this point on the go so I can read directions/whatever, and got a great feel for it while I was doing arens(still...holding off on it!! seriously!! ) So AFTER I got back home and my girlfriend left for work again after her lunch...I set up everything on my kitchen counter and put it to use for the first time with oils :) AMAZING results That's right I took 2 hits (around there) and I am still buzzin an hour later ( I have a high tolerance) the only thing I have to say is that I put the smallest amount trying to conserve like I usually do even when dabbing, and it was gone in one hit. quickly burned up :/ I then proceeded to load it with 2x the amount and again... I got 2x the hit but it was all burned up after one big pull, thinking there was still some on the coil or something i tried another pull and nothing more. Now I did in fact get really stoned, but I thought I wouldn't have to use as much as a dome and nail, guess not, owell I still LOVE my Dabbler and that is a small thing I won't even concern but I feel I should mention because maybe it is something that can be worked on in the future so that you don't have to use as much oil and in a way save and conserve your product, or maybe not, maybe thats simply just how quick it burns, I have just always put a tiny tiny piece on top of my bowl with maybe some kief and that works well, but the Dabbler works wonders!! Now I can finally smoke in the car and more discreet in public when I'm with my girlfriend(she hates the burning smell after a smoke session) so this should take care of it! Plus easy on the go medication!! I would highly recommend this product to anyone ! One more thing if I must. I wouldn't mind paying more for the product to have an included extra heating element (just in case) but if that's the lowest they can sell them, then I understand then being sold seperate to keep prices low of the initial product. just throwing that out there I would have rather paid 99$ plus tax in order to have another one, but that's fine because I know I still have a quality product anyway. Sorry to go on and on but I am dabbled and that's what it does to you . (One other thing, I hate to be picky but the little charger thing doesn't seem very sturdy, plastic hinges that scare me when I push on the charger to put it back in the case, maybe this can be reinforced? Maybe not in the budget line...Idk, but just putting that out there, don't know if there's ever any issue with this. Anyway off to clean up >.< :science::spliff::tup:

@sakkaToke you'll have to put a little bit in there at first to saturate the wick, but after that it's good flying. I've seen someone else post in another vape pen thread that they put miniscule dabs on there, seriously like half a hit's worth basically and they get good results. In the next few days when you become more familiar with the device I'm sure you'll be able to figure out how much you can and can't load into it. I don't recall anyone having issues with the actual charging port but if anything happens I'm sure you'll be taken care of. Welcome to the forums!
