I'm willing to bet that this might be that water filtered one which looks to me like it might have a built in kiss cart with the titanium grade 2 wire and a porous ceramic wick!!???

I'd have to think that'd go in the KISS Cart section, and wouldn't carry the $200 price tag.

I was just throwing iris v2 in hopes of an update. The 8 sounds like it turned into the bender and hercules. But whats on the site is probably a placeholder for the updated sr-71 (sr-74?)

They already have a Hercules section, though. And since 74's just an alternate form of the Hercules with a few different parts, I'm holding out for a new line. G's been hinting at the start of a whole new series.

Built in water filtered, EO-dedicated desktop vape? Sounds good to me.

How is it hitting with the shorter coil?

Well ... really really well :smug:

I must admit I was super skeptical going into this whole thing as I never had a good time with the omicron carts. I got pretty sketched out too cause after my trade finalized I came over here to the thread and saw that the sr71 is already being updated to an sr74. I honestly thought I was going to play with this guy and trade it back out ... well that ain't happening.

@THC SCIENTIFIC sorry I ever doubted your work here. It really is top notch  You have a convert.

There is already at least one desktop EO only vape. Hopefully this one won't be as expensive though.

The OEM Persei batteries are no name generic IMR batteries, and are not rebranded AWs. They are not made with the same QC in regards to both materials and assembly/manufacturing.

They have been proven again and again not to be up to the task of providing continuous power levels over time, unlike AWs and to a lesser extent the Efest batteries. While this is a non issue with the OG Omicron and Persei carts, the stock generic IMRs just wont cut it when it comes to powering things like the Hercules SR71.

Furthermore, it is the Efest and AW brand batteries that have been rumored to be identical on the inside. NOT the OEM batteries UP Tech includes with the Persei.

Now I'm not going to sit here and find links to 3rd party testing that verifies all of this, but said reviews and tests can be found on numerous flash light and ecig enthusiast websites as well as FC it self.
Well, guess I gotta go spend $60 on batteries now

:(

it's for the greater good I guess..

@Atomsk,
Yea ur right, I just noticed the price tag and that is a high price tag for a kiss cart, even if it's got Ti grade 2 and a porous ceramic wick. I was just thinking of all the stuff G has talked about recently and just throwing stuff out there. But I'm wondering what that one with the built in water filtration is now too tho! They got so many new things that they're testing out that are supposed to be coming out soon, that it's hard to keep track of it all!! Maybe this is gonna be the long awaited Vection/Duction H20, which was supposed to be a separate vape in itself from what I remember. I guess we'll see soon enough...

I would go crazy like a Bieber girl for an Iris. I want one so bad, but no one ever sells them.

As for a desktop vape for Oil.... yes that would be sick....but didn't the core handle that?

Whatever this 8 oil vape is.....I can't wait to see it.

I do have a sneaking suspicion it will be the water filtered chamber G was showing off awhile ago.

Here's to being curious!

Edit* I also have feeling its the infinity oil vape, as 8 can be a reference to infinity if sideways.........but who knows.

=)

What's that on the right??

It's just a cheap, Chinese, ecig mod/RDA I have setup for oil. Using sub-ohm coils I get bigger hits off the RDA/mech mod when just feathering the button for a couple of seconds. That said ... the herc is the only thing I've found that even comes close to my babies but the herc is just so purdy and well put together.

Lol. I should be a beta tester with all of their products I've purchased!!(hint,hint-G)

@Vapoholic420 Just a heads up, the mods don't allow people to ask about beta testing, whether seriously or jokingly. Figured I'd let you know before a mod gives you an official warning because it happens all the time. ;)

I don't know for certain (we need to ask @THC SCIENTIFIC ) but I'm pretty sure the "8" doesn't stand for the infinity symbol because everything else in the w9 catalog is named after Futurama references.

Is there a link with the Vection/Duction H20, or it's another thing ?

What kind of wick material do you use in this scenario? I use ekowool in all my genesis style rebuildable atomizers for smoke juice, but I have thought about picking up some XC-116 to try it out. Apparently it is a kiln baked ceramic rope from 3M which was originally developed for electrical component insulation where heat was an issue. I always have to torch my ekowool before installation and this comes "ready to go" from the reseller.

I am thinking it might be a good replacement for the little ceramic rod that comes with the KISS carts - although to be honest, if they are not rebuildable and you just throw them out eventually, I don't see any advantages to the KISS over a cheap ass cloned two-post dripper outside of the ceramic cup.

Plus that little mech mod & rda looks sick in 18350 mode :D

@Cheerful Dub where do you put the wire in the base when rebuilding the kiss cart? Does one go next to center pin with the other outside the bushing against the outer thread?

Did that make sense?

Right now I'm using stainless steel mesh to make ss wicks but I want to try the FC 2000 wick next. I was actually on their website looking at the XC 116 the other day ... looks like great stuff but it was sold out every where when I looked but I would like to try it too as the flexible wick will open a whole new world for me and I think it'll cut the prime of my tanks down to under .1 g.

It's all about efficiency and versatility in my book and a palm sized device that blows nail hits out of the water fits the bill for me.

The Vection and Duction are already in their own thread, but also may become their own line. Those two will be the W9 vapes for those who want the "best of the best."

In going with their current theme of Omicron Persei 8, Omicron and Persei are two different vape lines. Stands to reason that the 8, being posted in the same place as those two, is a third vape line.

I just like solving mysteries, man.

What's the current dedicated EO vape called? I'd like to see how their loading chamber is.

Any news on the titanium coils for the Hercules??
Supposedly in production since last week. Probably be available by New Years.

@MileHighLife thanks for the compliments. The two designs work great but for us for many reasons the Herc is ahead because of its no wire technology. The reason is, anyone can rebuild a hercules and down time theoretically is no more then 1 min, and that is because of being lazy. I can replace a rod in 20 seconds and with many other improvements as for taste, and the part that is no oxidation, its never out of comission if you have spare parts, always upgradeable. Just the minor stuff that sets them apart. Plus it can do ejuice as well.

Okeanos is the temp name for the Stainless Version of the Micro Bubbler.

It will come in a 510 thread or a 601, meaning you can hook it up to your vaporizer if it can run it. It will include a Ti Grade 2 coil Kiss cart as well.

There will be a discount for the Okeanos just so you guys know. It is for pre orders only.
