Yeah, well, that's just, like, your opinion, man.
While you might not find it an issue, the style of first one puts the LSV fairly close to your face...I have a piece similar, and while it's not too big of a deal it's not my preferred piece due to that issue.

Just my BUBBLER with a 18mm connection did the trick!
I need to get a 14mm WPA SHORTY

So is lifesabervaporizer.com a legitimate site from 7th Floor? I ordered their "What You Need" deal on November 29th and my package still hasn't sent but they've already taken the money out of my account. I've sent them an email and tried calling both of their numbers twice... Should I be worried?

Yes it's legitimate, they just sometimes take a while. Their customer service can be really weird.
Took me two weeks of constant calling (during the hours they specified) to get them to answer so I could proceed on getting my first LSV repaired. Once I managed to get them to answer, I gave him my credit card info and email so he could send me the shipping label for me to print out. He told me I'd receive it shortly. We hung up, and I waited for my email. Never got it, but he definitely charged my card.
I'm still in the process of getting them to answer again

You'll find that everyone has their own personal preferences with size and amount of percolation/diffusion that they prefer. There are so many different types of percs(honeycomb, showerhead, inline/stemline, matrix, etc) and everyone has their favourites.
I am by no means an expert but as a general rule I've found that the more diffusion a piece has the less flavour you'll get but you'll be able to take bigger hits and hold them in for longer as the vapour will be smoother. Some people prefer a larger volume as they find it more satisfying to "milk" a large piece and then clear it whereas others prefer small pieces as they have less air to clear from the can before vapour starts coming through. Also if you have a low tolerance then you may find a smaller volume ideal as you won't need to fill the can with as much vapour to milk it and get a good taste.
I guess what I'm trying to say is that there is no perfect piece for everyone but you'll find what perfect for you by experimenting with different pieces.
As I've told lots of people on here before personally my favourite is my Colie Glass Sidearm Thick Mini Showerhead which is quite a small piece. What I like about it is retains flavour very well due to the small size. I also find that the small can give me the option to take larger or smaller hits depending on how medicated I want to get. I normally use it with a very small amount of water to preserve as much flavour as possible but sometimes I do fill it a little higher if I want to get a bit more diffusion for those thicker hits. I also find that the mouthpiece is just long enough to keep the LSV out of my face which is nice in terms of comfort when using it as many people here have mentioned.

Hard to say for sure, but it's in the same style. I personally prefer the Leviathan Lattice bubbler (daily driver), or ones with a similar style, it keeps the LSV a bit further out.

I want one of those, am I really missing something with the piece I just bought?
I would say no...don't get me wrong, it's a beauty piece, but it's not something I'd deem essential for effectiveness.
I have a buddy with a similar piece as yours and he's paired it with his LSV for ~6-8 months and he's perfectly happy, as am I when I'm over there. As Richy said, it's all about personal preference.

I don't think the glass piece is gong to make a difference in that.
This is where I think you need to focus. I prefer a smaller can. I have a bubbler now that is much bigger than my last piece, and I typically hit it until I see vapor forming, then exhale and start a new hit with nothing but vapor. I am now on the hunt for a smaller bubbler. Figure out how you like to hit it and then make a decision on can size.

I think there may be an issue with the company. I ordered my LSV in November. I have tried calling, I have left a voicemail msg as well. The process in their website says I am still in "processing".. The payment has been removed from my credit card..
I tried to reach ANYONE at that company and have been unable. If these people don't reach me back and let me know where my LSV is I will have to cancel my order. Which sucks.. because I was looking forward to trying this thing out..
I have ordered a lot of vapes online. Never had an issue like this. Not being able to reach a human is annoying.

This is not a new issue with 7th Floor. Years ago, we blamed it on company growing pains, but being that they are already grown up, we can't use that as a reason anymore.

No problem, but what that being said, their product is still excellent. The LSV is my go-to vape. Love it.
Being that I've always been aware of their logistics and communication issues, I have always preferred to purchase my 7th Floor products from retailers, whose primary business is logistics and communication. Many of these companies, such as VapeWorld, will price match anything that 7th Floor does directly, so that may be a better option for you.
7th Floor should really stick to what they do best and leave the retailing to retailers.
