EVO came home tonite! Wow! What an experience!!!!! This is just what a version 2 vape should be. Solid improvements in weight distribution and comfort of use. DENSE VAPOR on LOW TEMPS!!!!!!!!!! I tried it with 6 different high end glass pieces, and I can say unequivocally that EVO is loads better than the original ticker. (I should know, I still own it! )

It's a real shame that various other guys have used the term "direct inject" but Evo's ease of use and ability to milk up a big tube effortlessly (for me).

I salute you gentleman! More to come!

What draw speed does the EVo whistle at?

surprised I didn't see an answer for this in all the replies. lost in the excitement of the interview i guess.

this time, it's the harder draw that makes it whistle. sometimes I like to keep it low, and the whistle alerts me to simmer down a bit. Other times I use it as a guide to hit it where I want it to be... it's really weird how both ways seem to work really well. different strains / mediums and density of pack I suppose.

btw. I have noticed that filling the elb right up isn't the best way anymore. personally I like 50-75% full once the cap has been put on.

@stonemonkey55 congrats on the candidate for the interview! that is awesome!
like others have said, a good word from her and a lot of "brainwashed" moms, grandmas and general housewife type people will find a crack in the foundation of the "drugs are bad and that's all there is to it" idea they tend hold so tightly. I recall a great old babysitter I had to took O's word as gospel. I hated when her show came on (haha, selfish little kid I guess)... I'd usually leave the room and go play instead.

IDK if that is good news. I liked that my Cloud whistled at slow draws because I found the whistle annoying. So it actually never whistled, because I never hit it THAT slowly and I was happy for that. If I heard it, it reminded me to pull harder.

If the EVO is going to whistle like mad everytime I hit it that could make the whole experience a bit less enjoyable for me. But of course this is no way a deal breaking for me, and I will know how it is only after I get one.

the whistle isn't super loud. but it is noticeable. my dog looked at me funny at first. but not anymore.

I had an original ticker and at first it annoyed the piss out of me. then over time I grew to love it. I knew when my vape was up to temp without even looking at it. the same if i suspected it turned off.

all im saying is these subtle nuances may become things we like about it. or maybe not. everyone is different. I'm sure you will like it all the same!

Did someone say pressure?

Wishing you the best good vibes, Enchantre!!! We are all with you in spirit!!
You will do great:nod:!!

P.S.---For those of us who have cut the "cord"(cable tv), can someone please alert us how/when to view this interview? TIA
Thank you. This is the exact song that I had going in my head..

Oh, and yes, I am also among the no-TV crowd. Haven't had broadcast (wow, did I just date myself?) or cable in 12 years now. I'm hoping it will be available on YouTube, or via DVD, or something. I might have to have a friend Tivo it. Is there still Tivo?

This will first be for her magazine with potential of becoming a show as well. I understood the importance of getting the right person who could articulate the power of our sacred plant to the masses in an educated way. After speaking with you yesterday, I have ALL THE CONFIDENCE in the world that you will be able to help change the public perception and there is absolutely no pressure, all you have to do is be yourself, just like you were when we spoke yesterday.:rockon::clap:

sorry you all havent heard more from me since i got my first EVO. my internet was down for 11 days (took forever to get a technician out around the holiday), so the only internet access ive had has been from my phone.

I have been using the EVO daily, and many times a day at that. It has also seen a few falls, but is still working. I have used it via power inverter in a car, and it works much better with the lower voltage without the alternator running then the old VXC.

this thing is a beast with concentrates, and heat retention is off the charts/

heat up time, much faster. i like the dial at 1 or 130 at first green light and i will dial all the way back to 1030 or maybe 11 after a full heat up. that said, i tend to turn this one off more then the old model because i do enjoy the first green light vapor.

it is difficult for me to do a new full-blown review because the EVO has almost all the advantages of the old VXC with a few major improvements (weight, heat retention, heat up time) and still my only gripe is the lack of hash marks that i love so dearly. all and all, i think they truly improved the already best vape on the market. cheers

It has been 6 years since I have "enjoyed" the holiday season. I worked in a high volume retail management salary position, and this time of year I would often work 60 hours a week or more. It would start in October, and just never seem to end with Thanksgiving, Xmas, post xmas returns and exchanges, after winter sale, ect. Dealing with hundreds to thousands of people a day. i was passionate, and worked hard and took pride in what i did, but that doesn’t mean it was always easy. But this year has been different and almost stress free, i have a little less money at the moment, but am super happy and still am able to make ends meet pursuing other interests.

I am a diehard Detroit Lions fan, and although I go to the Thanksgiving day game every year, it was always hard for me to fully enjoy it sandwhiched in one if the busiest weeks of the year for me.

This year was different, the EVO came down to Detroit for a wonderful Lions tailgate. 4 of us ripped 5 or 6 loads, only a stones throw from Woodward Ave. where the Thanksgiving day Parade was in full swing. It was nice to medicate, then watch the parade, rinse and repeat. With a few pre-noon Michigan craft beers of course. For those too busy stuffing their faces, the Lions spanked the Packers by 30 points. Being a Lions fan isn't easy, so we will take the win on the big stage when we can. After the game? Picked up the girlfriend with the warm EVO ready in my car, and we were able to work up a quick appetite before going to my mom's house for the standard Thanksgiving. Thanks VX.

How about "black friday"? Instead of working a 16 hour plus day i followed my formula for a stellar day: "Sleep, vape, eat. Fuck then repeat" Thanks EVO, you helped make my holiday.

Now i am rambling. How about more positives in the EVO vs the VXC?

-No ticking unit (both of my old units were tickers)
-No whistling when you hit it hard.
-The fact it is light in nature makes it more likely to take a fall, will cause less stress on your glass, easier to tote around, ect.
-removable cord + better heat retention really opens of the possibilities
-Killer with concentrates, works better then my old rare "high temperature ticker"
-has a cold spot to grab always (i dont care at all the top gets hot, grab the bottom instead

Add these small additions, to what i have said in previous posts, to what i already considered the best vape on the market, i am sure as hell winning.

Nice one Krazy

I have used it via power inverter in a car, and it works much better with the lower voltage without the alternator running then the old VXC.
Please tell us more about car use, which inverter (model, etc...), ...
without altenator running ? So it would be possible to run it directly from the car battery ? ...
