I do like the ego.
The Q is also a good "disposable".. that is not really disposable.... but rather a "kit".. in that it can be maintained.
The Q has a 300 battery which is fine.... but if you get into some serious vaping you'll soon want the 650 which is what the Standard Joye Ego has..
A 900 maH battery is available too in all of these... and they are able to give a longer period of use .. and a slightly faster start at each inhalation.
My wife has been up and down through various Ecigs... and mods....
Although she has said my mods can give thicker hits and other features.... she falls back to that Joye Ego pretty regularly. We both feel it is very consistant.
We use the Jessy see through cartridges with them to be able to see juice level.
Attys have come and gone on other units.. and on our Egos they seem to take the work and keep on functioning!

You could throw whatever tank system you prefer on it, then it would be juice fed :) Sick rig btw, The black chrome really makes the new blue led pop!

Vitolo, is there a particular online retailer you'd recommend for purchasing the Joye Ego starter pack? Seems to be a lot of different stores selling them for various prices $50-$65. Where do you order your e-cig stuff?

I got this kit from a couple of places, while experimenting.
I found out that you can get legitimate bargains from the places in China... but it is often a crapshoot!
MadVapes has an Ego kit for around 50 bucks, but it is made by smoktech... and on occasion they send one out with an unheard of brand name!.
The original Joye Ego kit from Joye Ego at FreedomsmokeUSA is the one I have been recommending, simply for lack of "issues" and the companies fast response and responsibility.

If you want a easy, reliable, e-cig mod that holds a 3ml or 6ml bottle then i would wholey reccomend going to REOS mods and purchasing a grande or mini. Definately my best buy of 2011.

More info would be great msb, though I should mention that I have very little knowledge of e-cigs and that I'm not sure whether a "mod" is what I'm looking for. Right now, I have a couple of X4 e-cigs. They're cheap, but the nicotine delivery isn't that great, the flavor is so-so and I just have a feeling that there are much better e-cigs out there. Am I correct in thinking that?

My primary reason for wanting an e-cig is as a smoking cessation tool. The X4 e-cig doesn't replicate smoking cigs that well, so I still find myself chewing nicorette gum even while using the X4.

Hey all, I just recently purchased an e-cigarette and being a heavy smoker for years now, it's actually helped me reduce my tobacco intake to 50% or less. On the talk of nicotine intake, I definitely feel the nicotine if I hit the e-cig as a regular cigarette and hold puffs in. I purchased a Riva 901 starter kit from liberty-flights and I must say that I love this bad boy. I went and also bought myself some Crystal liquid from a supplier near here since my attempt at making a liquid myself wasn't up to par and am now enjoying this Riva quite a lot. The kit came with essentially two Riva 901's minus a small cover piece and in total it came out to about 55 dollars. Since I am a Canadian customer, shipping was obviously a bit more substantial but I do not regret it for one minute. Here's to the smoke free journey!:D

I am an ecig user and a vaporizer user, so am intrigued with the idea of using ecigs with some kind of THC eliquid / tincture. Is this thread about doing so or are you people just discussing ecigs and their various mods here?

If any of you are successfully using ecigs with some kind of THC liquid, is it working better than using vapes with herbs directly?

I might be wrong, but I did a little research. The only way you can combine THC with an eliquid, and get something worth vaporizing, is by using extremely dangerous and possibly illegal chemicals.

If you know a place to buy it already made - it might make more sense, because it is hard to make anything worthwhile (potent) using standard ingredients.

You can use glycerin to extract in a way similar to green dragon. There are teks out there if you do the searching. I remember one on grass city forums if I am not mistaken. Synthetic cannabanoids are easier to deal with in e-juice...I have quite a bit of experience with this and let me tell you they are very effective, but you do have to come to terms with the whole "synthetic" thing.

That ProVari setup is sweet! I just ordered a Lava Tube type mod and it should be in the mail today or tomorrow. I cannot wait for it. I will review it once it comes in.

Is there any interest here in eagle e cig starter kits? I have 8 available with details posted in the classified section.

I wouldn't try vaping THC in eliquid. I don't think it would be effective, but it sure would be neat if it were!

I have a Joy eGo myself, originally bought it from Totally Wicked. I have since bought the tank atty's for it, and alternate between that and the cartomizers. I've found that some liquids taste shitty or odd in the tanks. Example, Tasty Vapor's Atomic Cinnacide and a custom juice from them (Anise and French Vanilla, sweetened). The custom juice separates, if that makes sense. I get FV flavor the first half or so of the tank, and anise in the last half. So weird. Anyhow...now the task of actually quitting cigs again. Started smoking again after my MIL died in July. Ugh. Had been quit since 2/9/10.

Guys you can use the Persei as a Ecig also, we have the cartomizers and will offer adapters to use any other cartomizer and atomizer.


Also with the Persei you also have the ability to upgrade to a LCD version top, that can do Dual Cartomizers for that massive needs.

The Lava Tube is great folks...

I had been using a box mod vv unit that always seemed to taste off when I hit it, then I switched to a straight 5v boxmod. That was good but the plastic box started to crack and fall apart. This rather large VV tube is awesome by comparison. It hits great and doesn't overheat the liquid in the cartomizer (it sucks when it gets over heated and a bubble boils out, it hurts).

I still have those elips eagle kits if anyone is interested.

I just picked up a provari as my first real ecig. Just standard cartomizers for now, but I'm thinking about a tankomizer soon. I'm so stoked!

This is my first foray into ecigs, and I'm looking for some good no-nicotine juices. I'm already on board for freedomsmoke's thin mints, but does anyone have any good recommendations for other good juices or samplers from them?

Was in the market to try a bottom feeder since I fell off the wagon being tired of the hassles of dripping (which I found to be the most flavorable and productive way of vaping), and seriously not interested in the cartos/tanks/ect I've tried to date.

So before dropping the coin on an exquisite REO, I decided to order a Vapage VMod 2.0 to give the process a try after reading great reviews about it.

Now, because I'm cross border....... the WAIT (again) begins :D

+1 for Reos. I quit smoking over a year ago now with a Joye Ego, but found it lacking and a hassle. Now I own 3 Reos and it totally rules.

For beginners I would recommend a Volt kit from smokelessimage.com.

I am new to FC

I recently purchased an Omicron to vape BHO.. and I think its ok.

At the same moment a friend of mine bought an ecig in Poland (Brand "Mild" http://en.mild.pl/) we tried if I could use the Omicron Cartridge in the Mild (Pure) and it worked perfectly. It had the same screw thread, only the battery was smaller.

So I was wondering are there more models which i can use with my omicron carts? Will they go in the Lavatube, or the Ego_T (and if so which ones?) They won't fit in my girlfriends Joytech Joye 510-T (different screw threat).

I am especially interested in something bigger with variable voltage (like the Persei), for myself. I wanted to buy another pair for a friend of mine who likes it but doesn't have the money for it.

Its not that I don't want to support the makers of the omicron, but I believe its more the cartridge they developed right? Or can I buy other cartridges and 'modify' them myself (?) so i can use solid wax etc.

My apologies if I asked questions already answered, but I couldn't find it...
