So I'm dry but have some kief I'd like to vape. Yesterday I had some ABV that wasn't done yet so I put some kief on top for a couple bowls in my m/m adapter and I got small hits and only 1-2 out of it. So Iwas wondering what is the best way to vape kief? I think I get better vapor with kief out of the wand but I'm afraid to just put it in the wand without anything else.

I would continue on the path you began, using ABV as a base.
You may need to turn heat up just a touch, and stir after each hit.
In the wand alone it can get sticky and get caught up in the corners/edges.
You may not always get the thickest vapor from ABV with Kief... it depends.... but should get comfortably medicated.

LSV is same heater as SSV and DBV correct?
Is there any reason to buy one over the others...?

I know Alan makes heater upgrades for these but I'm not sure what the point of buying one is if i'm gonna turn it into a HI with a metal case :p It just "all around better" or does it change the characteristics of the vape?

I want something a little smaller to complement my Cloud that can put out mass quantity of vapor very quickly while I hold over to get a VXC EVO.

Cleaned out my wand and put some of the goodness I found with some ABV and a little kief. I only got 1 hit basically lol. What I don't get understand is why my kief seems to be vaping a tiny bit if any bit.. I seem to only get the taste of the kief in a fresh bud bowl with kief on top..

I just ordered a second LSV, I couldn't help myself with all the deals  And who wants to be without an LSV to use if the unfortunate happens?

Anyway, the black friday deals are still working on VaporNation in case anyone was still wondering.

Hey, is the LSV worth getting if you already have a DBV? I don't vaporbong that often and mainly use it as desktop unit.

Thanks.

Well, you are not passing all that vapor through a long silicone/rubber whip but rather passing it through glass, either the glass transfer wand or directly through a bong/bubbler and that does have an impact.

While the Buddha is a bit more convenient, I prefer my LSV.

You could use the lsv HC and transfer wand on your da Buddha or use a 18/18 or 18/14 male/male adapter and use hydro tubes on top or your da Buddha what I plan on doing

My buddha hits kinda harsh on high temps, and the hose gets really dirty/smelly. Also, I'm not getting the big hits that I want. Also, I've had no luck getting it to work properly with a bong.

WATER PIPE with smaller mouth piece.
The BONG style mouth pieces don't work for me at all.
LSV with water is power and flavor in one!

Has anyone experienced less power from the LSV? Meaning has anyone got less vapor from it for as long as they had it? I got mine in March I believe and it seems like I've been getting less vapor lately. Could just be something else because this thing has a lot of variables, just asking because I thought I saw someone say theirs had power issues.

It can be affected by voltage fluctuations at the outlet.

If you are using it with a new outlet, or a particularly loaded power strip, that may be the culprit.

Another possibility is that your element somehow got pushed down a bit.

Huh? You haven't lived till you drink boxed wine from a Styrofoam cup. :mmmm:
I'm just messing around!

However I like Flowers vaporized through a water path with a smaller glass mouth piece.
The LSV has many qualities in this regard. (With the water pipe of your liking of course!)

LSV + PREFERRED WATER DEVICE + FLAVOR + POWER = BLISS!

I have a couple iPhone chargers and a lamp plugged in a power strip going into a 3-2 prong adapter. Haven't changed it in a while. iPhone chargers are usually not in use when my LSV is plugged in. Sometimes I have a fan on that changes the temp of the room so that may have an affect. I was wondering what everyones heating elements read. Mine is STD-100 then about 2/4 of dash after that so I know my heating element is fine.

Fredrick made my LSV work perfect after I changed outlets and now my LSV is a power house!
I had a power strip with a bunch of things plugged in it!
Now I plug the LSV into it's own socket!

Why don't they work for you?
Personally I also like smaller mouthpieces. I have an ~11" straight tube bong as well as my CLV Sidecar bubbler, and prefer the CLV's mouthpiece to the bong which is about 2x as wide I'd say. I think it's easier to sustain a certain draw speed with the bubbler than with my bong, but the bong has a larger air chamber.

I need some advice guys. I'm trying to convert to vaping from about 21 years of smoking. I LOVE MY WATER PIPES/BONGS. I'm mainly wondering about the differences in the da buddah vs the LSV with a water setup. What makes one better?
