... but I'm pretty sure it's like a law of nature that it has to come by Christmas, right? Right??

Not entirely sure why the pic in the vid is a hamburger, but the music is the important bit

I just wish I got a bent now. I didn't even care either way and picked ice pinch on a whim. God, how wrong I was...

Ready to have your mind blown? Modular Hydra Tubes... start with a detachable mouthpiece! Imagine being able to SWAP Straight Ice w/ Bent on the same HT

I crap out million dollar ideas like this every other week, maybe I should hit up Kickstarter IndieGogo one of these days and lock in some funding

(Edit: someone already stole my invisible panties idea!)

They already had the modular HT design...didn't work so well for some! Edit* Maybe @t-dub can provide us a "before" shot. But, IIRC, this was the result of a drop, or something, while using two hydratubes in a modular setup (back when VXL had in house glass, with removable mouthpieces)

Why not just have a removable mouthpiece, like the VXL Hydracirc and Hytratree 2.0 tubes? I loved that you guys were going in this more modular direction, so why revert now?
This is one reason why . . . :cry::cry::cry:

Ohhh the painful memories . . . yeah I had the 2 together and hit the top half on the edge of the sink while inverting to drain. Here is a before shot . . .

That's HydraTube inception! I'm just talking about a regular old glass mouthpiece :)

That's what the modular hydratubes were...but obviously, put a male joint on top, and who wouldn't stick another Hydratube on top? There's a video somewhere (Right HERE, or see the post directly below this one for an embedded version...Thanks @Stu!) of some guy using 3 at a time or more...But I'm not sure what you're talking about that's different ;)

From the VXL website...

Albeit out of stock...you get the point. They weren't necessarily meant to be used in a manor of stacking HT upon HT, etc. Rather to be used with various mouthpieces. But as I said, who wouldn't want to put two or more together? :brow: Aside from someone who has learned from experience that it is a riskier than usual setup...

I shot this video of my pc with my iphone during a live webcast.

:peace:
That's one of the ones I'm talking about! The other one was from way back in the day...I think in the first or second Cloud thread...pre-big release, or just after...It was a video of a guy or gal who had a Cloud, and several clearly custom hydratubes with 18mm male joints on top. They had a base that held all of the tubes as well as the Cloud, that wasn't very visible in the video; but it was obvious by the visual and sound that they were setting everything down on some type of stand that was made for this. In my mind, it was bigger and different than Tstats (DeadFootDesigns) station bases (which rock by the way!) The video(s) they posted showed several very big lunged hits, taken through different combos of HT's and mouthpieces.

Any time I get determined to search for it, I end up finding what I think might be the posts that once contained the videos, but the links are bad or gone. Bummer. Someone else recall what I'm talking about?

Either way, thanks for filming, and reposting that video Stu!

We will all soon have EVOs and totally bitchin HTs. Patience will be rewarded. VXH is coming through, showing strong this time around. How glorious!

Believe in the monkey. Viva la Monkey!

O, no doubt I have trust in the company. But that doesn't mean I can't admit they performed below my expectations. they've been less candid through there obligated backer updates on there official indiegogo campaign compared to almost all of the 20 crowd sourcing campaigns i've donated. I never never had to scourge through forums. Most keep you updated throughout the entire manufacturing process, taking you along through the highs and lows. By doing this not only do they reduce complaints by aligning you in their mindset and pitting you on there side against the problems with them in the process, but it increases customer loyalty significantly.

I'm still content as there is no alternative to the assumed magic of the EVO, and will still wait squeeling in excitement like a little school girl. I trust in there integrity, but i'm not going to sugar coat it, they disappointed me in their public relations. Also capitol raised through crowdsourcing projects are contractual obligations to use directly in perk fulfilment. I understand a company's desire to spread capitol into marketing (sending evos to reviewers that got lost in the mail) and other long term sustainable company practises, but that is not the point of a crowd sourcing. It is used directly in perk fulfilment which funds manufacturing process so they can bulid profit once it is fulfilled. It is the negative that counteracts the positive of a huge amount of funding without the needs to take out high interest bank loans, going public and issuing shares, or losing company control to investors.

Im going to grin and rep this when I get it, but i'm not going to be blind about my disappointment. And the large aspect of this is the public relations, not that actual application of capitol. The uncertainy from the lack of public relations leads to the other uncertainties. They are symptoms of that, so yes I find it dissapoining.

EDIT: this was hastily written while i'm pounding out a case review and two term papers so i'm just saying i'm not proofing it, forgive all the errors it contains. Also i'm not including a tl;dr, because without full context I'd sound like more of a dick then I do

The natives are getting restless, and rightly so. Some communication would be helpful, both here and at indigogo. I don't recall anybody here reporting getting a shipping email this week, so it would be nice to know what the holdup is. If there is one. Or not, either way so we don't just make stuff up.

The hold up is that we are building units. They are built in batches to increase efficiency and not one by one. Been busy assembling. Will put in more effort to keep you updated.

Thanks for the update, that was quick !

Happy turkey feast day to all at vxc, obviously I can't wait to give thanks for a new cloud evo!

VXH's indiegogo campaign cannot be compared to any other crowd-sourced campaign, in my view. Theirs was groundbreaking given the product and industry. Considering the company and staffing and responsibilities, why should we expect a play-by-play of their manufacturing story? Really?! I'd rather they make EVOs than update forums. They will fulfill obligations. Any assertion to the contrary is absurd and without merit.

Sheesh! This is the "Anticipate" thread. Not the "Anticihate" thread.

apologies for the brevity... we've definitely been focusing on producing more than updating so that is definitely something we'll work on. We had done some re-tooling to increase capacity and set up additional test stations to streamline some of the processes. We have a pretty good system of building specific components earlier in the week and then doing final assembly test towards the latter half of the week. We were able to push out three times more units last week than the previous week with this method so we're going to continue to maximize efficiency where we can.

Any updates on the international units?

Last word i can remember was a few weeks ago that they're in testing...

Are they still in testing?
Should I be realistically expecting it this year, or early 2014?

I know nothing can be guaranteed since unexpected things come up, but an official "we expect to have all IGG orders filled by the end of the year" would certainly perc up my spirits.
Or even just an expected timeframe on when international units will begin to be manufactured (for all I know they're already being manufactured, or they're due to start in a month, or they're gonna be delayed.)

I'm assuming the above update about ramping up manufacturing was referring to US units?

I noticed most if not all of the new hydratubes have the water level sitting well above the bottom female gong joint, where as on my original shower cap it has the water surrounding the female gong joint.

Under any circumstances, Would/Could this ever possibly cause the glass to break from putting it on a hot cloud/evo vaporizer. I pretty much would always use near room temperature water. Though if one were to use ice cold water, could this cause a thermal shock, breaking the Hydratube and spilling onto the vaporizer ?

Sorry if this is a silly question, though it does actually have me kind of worried.

Hello,

I ordered a VapeXhale Cloud Evo from the indiegogo campaign back in July. After wondering more information about the unit, I stumbled upon this forum. I wish I had this Forum when I purchased the unit and going thru all the threads and reading about everything. It looks great, I am really excited to get one.

From what I am reading they have already started sending units out.

Does anyone know if any Early Birds were sent out from July?

How many units can VapeXhale produce a week?

Hope this any of theses Q's weren't asked before.

Naw...think you are the first to ask these questions. :)

They have sent some units out.

Some Early Birds along with some of all the other perks have gone out.

As many as they can put together at their current manpower levels.

Hope that helped...:)
