Edit* Looks like @SlinginPaint beat me to it! Thanks! Edit2* @SlinginPaint did a way better job at both making his video, and his MiniELB :tup: His finished product looks nearly identical to the one I've been using over the past 7 months or so (after working mine a bit...I'm sure you can get it just right like he did without much trouble, especially with a sharpie!)

my evo is still at photoriders so i didn't have the evo for reference, but i got it done.

First, I think he probably has a Cloud (OG or +) as this is the Cloud thread, not the EVO thread....but I had to double check, cause they're all a blur to me now :lol: and regardless, the post could go in either thread lol...so sorry to pick on ya!

But AFAIK, IIRC, the shut off pattern is the same regardless of model (aside from the + models that just go lights out when the time is up), and that pattern is not 4 red 1 green. The shut-off pattern is 2 red, 3 green. Also, AFAIK, the LED can flash other patterns to indicate issues. Submit a support ticket?

Edit* Video from @Deadshort480 for reference. The OG Cloud flashes the same pattern, but a little differently. The pauses are different, etc. but same 2 red 3 green.

Original cloud. It is definitely 4 red and one green. This is some sort of error condition. It happens immediately on power on.

oops, haha. forgot what thread we were in for a second. and i stand corrected. i was too lazy to turn on my cloud and wait for it to auto-shutoff. thanks for the correction!

Can anybody comment on the differences between the Evolver HydraTree and the Swagger Tree?

Any obvious or significant reason to choose one over the other?

Swagger tree perc has its arms joint to the base (like Vetigo HT). I think they are generally shorter. Evolver tree has free arms.
Swagger tubes may or may not lack the umbrella version of the bottom splashguard.
Evolver has a wider more bong-like mouthpiece. The swagger mouthpiece seems more similar to the VXL standard mouthpiece.
Swagger is labelled on he mouthpiece and Evolver on the bottom.
Evolver tube will probably stand better without a hydrafoot.

These are all differences I can think of.

I don't think the temperature ceiling on that is high enough. The heater has to get a lot hotter than the air passing through the herb does. I don't think there would be a large enough buffer (if any) between the heater temp and the 280C temperature ceiling of the tape.
