I couldn't resist that DHgate offer. Hoping this time it actually looks like it does in the picture. If it does I can see this becoming my main piece and I probably will gift my alibaba shower head to a buddy.

I remember seeing this website a number of years ago & finding out they only did wholesale bulk orders.

Today though,
I tried adding a single piece to the cart and continued with the "billing info" and it prompted me for $12 shipping on a $60 bubbler. Still, it seemed to work.
Not sure if you continue with the order process if it will stop you for only having 1 piece.

i did see on the site a section called - 'Regulation Letter Please Read' and the last condition says, 'If your business license is about to expire please send us a new copy of your new business license before the expiration.'

so maybe you need a business license to order?

Is there any good and tested cheap glass you guys can recommend that will accompany my upcoming Solo? Hopefully <$50, and seller from Asia will be best as I live in Thailand.

I checked the posts here but there are too many options hehe. Hopefully you guys can recommend what would you choose if you had to choose only one glass <$50 to work with a Solo.

Yeah, talk about a poor man's Mobius. That's a 60T knock-off right down to the shape of the mouthpiece. It could use an inch or two of extra can height, and probably a lot more cuts in the "matrix" perks, and I think it's a 50mm tube instead of 60mm, but hey, it's nearly ONE SIXTH the price of the real thing.

I'll just put this out there, after having used both the mobius 65t and 60t, and now the m&m tech
lil'mona, you will likely have a lot of "chug" and will have to use a stronger draw to get the perc going in that double perc/stemless design, also watch out for "blow back" when you stop the draw. Still not bad looking for the cost.

Dont want to start anything up, but since we are in the cheap bubbler thread where China is often accused of copycat, isn't that Perc, the m&m tech lil'mon,a a complete rip off of the Mobius Matrix?

ok, i did a little follow up on 4Aces and those prices are for wholesale to businesses only. they may do single items to consumers but the price is marked up and it seems like it would be a PITA to place a consumer order (they kind of steer you away from it.)

but... i did find a different site that had a lot of the same exact pieces - http://www.shopatrama.com

they also happen to be located in the same city as 4Aces... but have no affiliation w/them from talking to someone at 4Aces. the prices for the same exact items are marked up close to 100% but they are running a black friday 15% off and free US shipping, so it's not too bad. piece i'm looking at is $80 total on rama after discount&freeshipping, and would have been $65 total on 4Aces after adding $15shipping (if they sold to consumers.) so its somewhat close.

i also see shopatRAMA listed as a registered retailer w/FC since 8/2013 so they seem legit.

hopefully that helped someone out. will follow up after i receive my piece IF i end up placing an order.

there is a difference between imitation and replication
what all the brands here do is imitate each other you make a 8 tree perc i'll make a 9 tree perc etc
what importers do is they replicate/counterfeit styles like a RooR for example
now even i make a 18" 50x5 beaker - but i dont add the signature and a big'o decal on there

also regarding the photo above w/ the chinese factory
from what i can see is that they are mainly using clear/color tubing
no fuming or color rods. this is much safer and the warehouse is also huge compared to american glass studio standards so i doubt ventilation is an issue here

It's a Sov clone made by a former Sov employee and his apprentices.
I have one.
Rips smooth as butter and stacks like crazy.

Best value tube out there IMHO.

$80 for chinese blown piece made from brittle chinese boro or $95 for an american blown piece made from some of the best glass on the planet.

No choice in my book. But, hey, to each their own

just get a 18 to 14 reducer, they are very cheap and you went have to limit your search to 14mm pieces

and you don't seem to be reading the info given. you can talk to the blower and tell him what you want. or get an adapter. the help is there.
