No sale yet, it's been $190 for a while now.
Any ideas how much it might be? Or why there is belief it will go on sale? Even if you know approximately how much it might be to give me an idea if I should wait or get something else in my price range.

Sorry I have no idea. This was the email from last year. I haven't received one this year yet. Looks like they offered deals on packages. Around the same time (last year) a member posted a code from a vapeworld holiday sale that got the price down to $155.

Check it out. Just got this emailed to me:

Just came to say I do like the LSV very much, you just gotta be really careful with the whip... it's more portable than the Da Buddah for sure, but for the money it's hard not to think twice a Da Buddah for sure... lots more accessories, etc. Anyways, <3 SSV/7th Floor :D
The LSV doesn't have a whip, you want the SSV thread I think? ;)

Really? That seems incredibly pointless.

The advantage the LSV has over the SSV is the distinct absence of vinyl whip, adding one negates the benefits associated with GonG vaporizers.

When one considers the above point, coupled with the fact that having to hold the LSV and whip would be awkward, I'd suggest anyone wanting a top of the line whip vaporizer go the SSV route, use the LSV with no whip through water as it was intended! (At least that's what I do..)

It's only incredibly pointless if you already have a whip vape.

It's easy to say just go with the ssv, but sometimes people just want to change things up.

I'm surprised it took them as long as it did to add a whip adapter for the LSV.

I'm struggling to see the downside of a cheap adapter that adds more functionality to an already versatile vape.

As I mentioned above, a handheld whip vape is clumsy and will involve some serious juggling IMHO, unless you're going to build a stand.

Personally, I want my whip vape to be stable and on a table (wasn't meant to rhyme, promise).

As far as them taking long to add a specific LSV whip attachment goes, perhaps it's because one could use the SSV wpa, an Extreme Q elbow or any number of 18mm adapters coupled with tubing to a similar effect?

You're making the setup sound more complicated than the "before" shot in an infomercial

It's certainly not the most ideal whip vape setup, especially since the thing comes with a transfer wand, but it isn't that bad really.

I'd still rather try a rigged up LSV whip setup than using the whip on the EQ for example

Definitely, I agree with that, what I'm struggling to understand is why you'd try to rig a whip to an LSV in the first place?

It's best through water, or with the transfer wand like it was designed to be used! (Sorry to sound like a stuck record.)

I'm confused by your comments?

Of the 7th Floor Vaporizers offerings I choose the LSV because the PAIRING of WATER path is amazing!
I would think the SSV would be the ULTIMATE for a whip style Vaporizer.

WATER = LSV
WHIP = SSV

Am I wrong?

I think my next vaporizer will be a SSV!

No.;)
But I do use my SSV through water every day to great effect.

I'm also confused about how an LSV is more portable than a DBV, the carry cases are of very similar sizes, albeit slightly differently shaped.

An LSV is handheld I suppose, but that doesn't make it more portable unless your in the habit of walking around with a naked vaporizer in your palm lol..

Yeah, making a whip kit for the LSV didn't quite make much sense to me either. What advantage would there be using a whip than using either the transfer wand or through water. Seems to me that it kinda defeats all the advantages that the LSV has without providing an advantage of it's (whips) own.

Is there any risk of damage associated with leaving an LSV on after it becomes very hot to the touch? I have an instict that it's bad somehow, but would love to hear otherwise, in which case I'll build a movable mic stand and leave it on like my SSV. I like vapes that are always ready to go! :D

Follow your instincts, Oscar....
even if you "hear otherwise".

Slow experimentation is a good thing...
leave on for 30-45 minutes.... and see how long of a break it requires to be cool again, and cycle your use around breaks. (Routines become... well... just that.. Routine!)

But then my SSV would be lonely?

No issue to report here, I leave it on for an average of 8 hours a day. Best to check for yourself, each unit is unique and local power, atmospheric conditions and the temperature you vape at will come into play.

Although I never leave my LSV or my SSV powered up when unattended for any length of time due to safety concerns, I have left my LSV on by accident and it was running for over 24 hours a fair few times without incident.

Found a 45 degree 18mm male to 18mm male adapter I'm going to test out in the lsv through my hydratube. Ill let you all know how it goes when I get it !

So I put a screen in below the frost glass on one of the male ends. Its closer to the heating element so I get a lot bigger rips. I get dark dark brown/almost black sometimes now too. When I put keif on my bowls in it, they get darker really quick. I guess I'll stick to the wand with the keif. This thing rips though, I love it.
