Firewood Vaporizer

I was hoping to have mine today or tomorrow so i could post a quick review before the sale ends. I have some super dank white widow and bunch of keif to test mine with. I am hoping this vape becomes my one hitter quitter. I love taking massive keif hits to keep me where i want to be.

Going to just copy the review I left on reddit for now, but feel free to ask any specific questions. Reddit is cool and all, but FC is my true home.

So I came home to my nice firewood 2.0 from Marc today. Looks and feels amazing. The opening is MUCH bigger than I'd expect, as is the glass capsule that holds the bud. The seal is incredibly tight (in a good way) with the new o-ring design.

The trigger feels like it's got more weight to it now, like it requires a slight bit of extra force to use. Not a bad thing at all, just an observation. No real changes to the user's technique or anything, but this version has a lot of neat upgrades. Absolutely loving the glass bowl to fill with bud.

Any specific questions? the silicone tubing might be for any use you want, but for me it allows you to use the firewood in a glass bong or bubbler. I still prefer to use just the glass tube when I am hitting it without a bong.

I am very very happy with this, and view it as an improvement all around over the already excellent design of the original. Very well done, 2 thumbs up.

Thanks Firewood!

Yes, this means there's a good chance mine will be here this weekend.

Ok darkrom, quick Q for you. How does the draw resistance on the V2 compare to the V1? Same? I've been super curious about this since I ordered it.

I should be clear mine is still charging now. I haven't even hit it yet! I figured I'd follow the instructions for once and give it a real review. I'm actually going away for the night tonight, and I'll certainly be bringing the firewood 2.0 with me, so I'll be much more helpful after I get a session or 2 under my belt. So far just the quick review on the build quality and design itself.

I was pretty happy with the first one, so this looks like its going to be amazing.

Feels like very slightly less resistance to me. Honestly if it was too free flowing it probably wouldn't work half as well. The slow consistent draw is how I'm able to get such surprisingly good vapor with the original.

Sorry, I was jumping the gun a bit, wasn't I? :) Looking forward to your full review!

Just tried a bowl for you guys. Seems very identical in technique to me. The glass capsule seems to make it "feel more convection" if that makes sense. I like it. Better flavor than the original which was already pretty good.

Officially an improvement in my book so far.

I got my Firewood 1.0 recently, in walnut. Thanks Bouldorado.

It's beautiful <3

Do you guys have any tips for modding this thing? It works splendidly, but the stem does get a bit hot--thinking I might want to change that somehow. What would you guys suggest?
Get a Ed's stem and you'll never have to worry about the heat and give your herb a nice flavour

I hope my Firewood shows up today. My weekend has started off shitty. Luckily I have other vapes to keep me company until it arrives.

The quick and easy method is a tiny piece of silicone tubing at the end of the glass. Keeps your lips nice and cool and your vapor hot. Wood stems are cool but I prefer the glass stems. I actually like the heat haha.

Silicone is the fastest cheapest way to fix it, and if you get the right thickness it can double as a waterpipe adapter.

My finished 2.0 arrived, its been on the charger for 3 hours so far. Very eager to try it out.

When I checked the mail today it wasn't in the box but then showed up on my door step a few hours later. The box had a slight rip as if someone opened it and stopped. Think it might have been accidentally delivered to one of my neighbors first. Everything seemed to still be there though thankfully.

Oh just got a new FW 2.0 today, thank you Marc! Have it charging now and am thinking stems. Just need to get a little down time to turn something out. Cant wait to try this piece! I think its a finished piece, maple for sure. Its very well made and may be my go to portable.
