Vaping is a way of life!
Heres some FAQ from the GrassHopper website.
I found useful.
Frequently Asked Questions
Who can I contact with questions? - You can send an email any time to trevor@grasshoppervape.com and I will get back to you as soon as possible.

How can I order accessories? - You can add any of the accessories to your order by adding their price to your contribution amount. After you make your contribution, send us a quick email at custom@grasshoppervape.com, mentioning what accessories you've added and the total value of your contribution. For example: A $99.00 Standard Grasshopper with an extra $5 battery. Contribute $104, and then send a quick email mentioning that the extra $5 was for the battery.

I've already made an order, but I'd like to add some additional accessories. - You can add accessories at any time, even after you've placed an order. Just click the "Contribute Now" button on the upper right-hand side of the page, and contribute again for the price of the accessories you've added. When you've checked out, send a short email to custom@grasshoppervape.com telling us what you did.

Do I need to add international shipping to Canada? - Yes, but if the shipping ends up costing less than $20, we'll issue you a refund for the difference.

Do I need to add extra shipping for more than one Grasshopper? - No, if the number of Grasshoppers you are ordering is 4 or less, you can just pay the $20 shipping. If ordering more than 4, contact trevor@grasshoppervape.com

Can my buddies and I make an order together to save on shipping? - Yes, see the above question for details. They must all be shipped to the same address.

What's the difference between the Titanium and Stainless Steel versions? - The Titanium (Ti) version is 33% lighter in weight (39 vs. 58 grams), and has a more durable exterior than the Stainless version. It also has a slightly greenish tint. See the new image that's been added above. The innards of both are identical.

How long does the battery take to charge? - This depends on what type of USB port you're using. A high-current wall charger (like the kind for the iPad) will take 1 hour, while charging from a computer will take 2-3.

Can I order a second charging cable? - Yes, this has been added to the accessories section and is available for $10.

What happens if we don't reach our goal? - If the funding goal isn't reached, everyone will receive a full refund. The money is held by indiegogo until the goal is met, so refunds will go smoothly.

Can I downgrade my order? - You must contact indiegogo directly to do this. We have no access to the money raised until we reach our goal, so we cannot issue refunds at this time. Indiegogo can help you.

@Zenpen
I love the idea of the water piece adapter, I for one have a few 18mm pieces as well as 14mm, is there going to be an option for both or maybe a universal gong that fits 14 & 18mm. I only ask because I assume alot of people might have 14mm glass pieces, also a 14mm will fit a 18mm with a (cheap and somewhat flush) reducer , but the same cant be done for 14mm to 18mm with out a unsightly (huge at times ) adapter.

Thanks for your consideration

hehehe, I like how, on one of the pics on the indiegogo campaign, the guy in the red T-shirt is all like
" Fuck new T-shirts, I'll use the one with a hole in it" standing there all cool 'n shit because he has a grasshopper and we have to wait...

the hole got my attention, too, while i was showing the campaign to some interested friends :) on second thought, willingly or not, it sends a message of accessibility of the unit. not being marketed as something only for the rich and famous. :)

I really wish I was able to contribute… Not for the vaporizer itself, but for the company's attitude so far!

I gotta chime in on the company's attitude, it's fucking awesome. I am learning that sincere manufacturer support goes a long way in this business, and is perhaps more of a consideration than the functionality of the vaporizer itself. It's easy to alienate a customer, but even easier to earn that customer's loyalty.

So after being undecided, I now am in for a holiday gift, because I can't wait to try this thing!

I wanna suck in an entire bowl on a high heat setting and blow big clouds! And if I can I will then get a superduperdeluxe model with all the trimmings, immediately.

Thanks for your support! We really believe its important to have a company philosophy and culture that we can be proud to be a part of! For us its more about getting a better vape into people's hands than making money. If we wanted to cash in we could have just got big corporate jobs after graduation, but we're determined to make a difference, even if its a small one. As someone with relatives that are medical users, I've seen firsthand the difference that can be made. You guys have been amazing supporters! As always if there is something we can do better, let us know!

I'd like to see the high temp vapor capabilities in a vid. Perhaps, let the unit warm up for a little more time than the 5 second heat up time at the top temp, then take a draw so we can see the top limits? I think this is what many members would like to see as it has been mentioned more than a few times in this thread.

I agree with Kaptan, I would not be interested in lower temp vapor. I am usually pushing mine up to the 400 range and would need to know this unit can perform well under those conditions before making a purchase.

That's where I was, but then I thought that this thing already looks like a superior experience to the pax with a similar i-coolness and stealth form factor for ~half the price of it so I pulled the trigger.

My pnp is a great portable vape, but it has a lot of parts like bullets and mouthpieces that can be easily misplaced. The tiny all-in-one factor is what I miss the most about the pax and the grasshopper has it. So I'm not as interested in all the accessories, but that concentrate attachment sure looks intriguing. Hopefully my state will authorize dispensaries soon so I can get in on this action. Otoh, any cheap vape pen seems to be able to work well with concentrates and that's not really my priority.

edit: the above paragraph describes my rationalization process at that moment in time, maybe tmi

Of course if I can blow big clouds with the grasshopper, it will be the best thing ever!

I agree, fucking amazing people ,ZENPEN you have surpassed my expectations.
It a breath of fresh air that your tying to make a real difference, not many follow this business practice.
I see nothing but great things for you guys , and I will be a supporter for life just on the awesomeness of your character, plus a state of the art vaporizer that will hold its own in a flooded market.

I really want to invest in this vape, but can't in good conscience participate in bringing it to market until I see some legitimate vids showing high vapor density capability. I've asked for it in past posts, as have others, but only got one (what I believe to be) obfuscatory reply regarding differing lung absorption attributes and user technique preferences. Sorry, not good enough - some of us here on FC are tougher customers than others, and need more convincing evidence that you have a breakthrough product ready for emergence. Please provide a face-on video of high, medium, and low temp vapor production with hi & low load capacity, of course with herb most favored by FC members. Please do not ignore this request. It is reasonable, and provides you at GH with an opportunity to really show your stuff. We are a captive audience...make the best of it! Cheers!

the request for video BEFORE buying a product baffles me. Sure i understand why the request... you want to see what it does... i get it. How did we all buy things before the internet and the ability to upload self made videos??
@mmenzie you're probably too young to remember that salesman used to walk door to door hoping for the opportunity to demo their brushes or vacuums to potential buyers. Nowadays, many products can been seen to work in daily life or on a TV commercial, but when a (new?) company introduces a potentially revolutionary product in an industry that dances close to the legal line, that is providing videos already, and is asking for seed money, I believe the high temp vapor demo @Snappo and others have requested is not only reasonable, but will likely draw in more investors(kind of the point right now).
I'm already in, for a case and an extra batt as well, and I prefer low to mid range temps, but I'm right next to Snappo in wanting to see the true range of the unit, and I imagine the continued lack of that could cause a little faith to wane.

It would be nice if some dealers bit, without their support some of the stretch goals may not happen.
