FakeXhale Cloud (Unauthorized and Unsupported)

Thank god someone else posted. My phone was letting me edit my post and I didn't want to go to mod jail.

So apparently I still have some fiddling and learning to do. I'm guessing next weeks short week will help. It was good but I wasn't blown away so I'm guessing I'm doing it wrong. I think I need to dial in the draw speed more than temp. I had two sessions.

1. Post work first sesh: this was quick and low temp. Pre-heated to 11:30 for 10-15 min. Had to go to yoga so I didn't want to get savaged. Packed ELB 1/3-1/4 full. Lots of tasty hits. Probably even more hits than would have been taken on EQ. Good flavor. Ok vapor thickness/quantity for low temp. Good long lasting mellow low temp buzz.
2.post yoga heat up pre heat about 15 min at that 1:30-2 hash mark. Same quantity of herb. Lots thicker hits. Still not crazy milk, that could be cause my piece is small and it gets in the lungs fast. Good effects. Good flavor. Flavor tapered at end. Maybe more so than EQ, however, the tasty hits lasted longer and were more plentiful. This sesh in search of clouds I dialed up 3-330 ish and almost died. Felt like combustion there was none. Crazy hard.

General impressions and questions:
Lighter than I thought.
Cord is short , stiff and annoying during storage. Can see benefit of removable cord.
Doesn't get as hot as I thought it would based on reviews.
Takes way more hits to cash an ELB than I thought. But I've been reading the EVo thread.
Need a cloud buddy or adapter. Putting into my stemless scares the shit out of me.
Need a bigger piece to test the milkage.
Need to figure at out draw speed? What kind if hits you all takin. I recall people talking about restricted air flow. You people nuts ;)? Coming from EQ elbow packs and a pax this thing drowns you in air. For some reason it made me draw slow and light. That didn't seem as effective as sucking for all I was worth. Thoughts?

Edit: ps it really dried my throat out and all vapor was water conditioned.

That's about my summary as well.

Its pretty disappointing under 1pm. It does all right at 2, but still not better than my UD. I'm afraid to take it any higher than 2.

Cord is stiiifffff

It is lighter and easier to handle than I had expected

Between the lack of vapor, resistance, and 20 minutes heat up time I went back to my UD.

It's a good vape, but not as great as I'd hoped.

I'm going to give it a test at 3pm now though out of curiosity.

Careful that choked me out. I just don't think we have the draw right. I'm not ready to shut off my EQ or buy an EVO. It has been a while since I got a new vape. Don't forget about the learning curve. I seemed to get better clouds with hard pulls.
Also I'm not sure I was saying I was disappointed at low temp. I thought it was good. I was actually more disappointed at 2pm I expected huge clouds and to be so high my balls tingled.
Also should add the ABV was nice color and more even than elbow pack EQ. I also didn't love the mini ELB. Lot more experimenting necessary.

I pick the cloud up to clear, lay it down, and pick it back up with the same motion, causing the cord to get twisted. A real PITA. About once a week I have to untwist mine. A removable cable would be nice, plus it takes the stress off the internals a bit.

It's a good vape, but not as great as I'd hoped.

I'm still, after several months of use, having mixed feelings about mine. I can't get the lung busting hits like I get with my SSV, even though the amount of vapor seams to be the same. Always seams like my second ELB produces more vapor than my first, IDK.

Mine came, no ELBs. LEDs work, and it heats up. The halves are aligned and the bamboo doesn't stick out on the bottom like some others. Guess it's the luck of the draw. Ordered some Arizer elbow screens to make a couple of miniELBs to see how I like it before I consider EVO-land.

I was pretty underwhelmed as well at temperatures under 2 but I attributed that to the fact I like thick higher temp vapor. I tried a fairly small amount at 3 though and it finally milked my Ion and I blew out a huge Cloud. I was trying to keep the temp low on this thing but I think 2-3 on the dial gives me the most satisfying hits.

Also I get the best results when pulling as fast as I can. I'm not sure if this is due to the glass I'm using with it or the Cloud itself.

I think it is the cloud. I tried pulling light. There was so lil drag it seemed best. I seemed to get best results sucking as hard and fast as I can.

I also forgot to add. I really really like the ease of use vs my eq w/ whip to the bubbler standing up. It was nice to sit on the couch, watch the tv, reach over, and take a huge rip!!

I have been getting a lot of PMs asking me about this so I will post something here for everyone to read. These units are not made to our spec and we are in no way affiliated with this seller. We do not support or warranty these products and want to stay as far away from this as possible. We have COMPLETELY moved away from this model and if you are a VapeXhale fan, we have our new product, the Cloud EVO that we stand 100% behind and if you go to the new thread, you will see that is substantially better than the original Cloud and that is all I will say about the topic.

And one day said EVO will be mine!

canj00digit?

All my days in a daze...
Are the Cloud+ units, under the VXL brand, I still see for sale at 3rd party retailers for FULL price, and with no warning about the 'ummm, we'll see' nature of the warranty, from the same manufacturer as the units selling on Ebay?

Just curious.

You have stated that you will be repairing models of this type Cloud (warrantied, legitimately purchased ones). Is this not the case? I think you should say just a little more on this topic.

These are not considered legitimate models and are not being sold by the company or an authorized retailer. Theses are basically bootleg buy at your own risk devices. That is why they are $100 not $450.
I understand the situation with these unsupported models, thanks! But if you re-read what I've quoted, it does seem like SM is talking about all models of this type. Many of which have years of warranty ahead of them.

Guess I was confused cause we were in the cheapi cloud thread. I took sm's post to mean one day he hopes to help all that have been wronged.

Back to cheap cloud talk. You guys hit em hard? What is your draw like? I just hit my EQ so much drag and resistance in comparison. Cloud is warming while I'm dog walking.

I'll confess my ignorance, but what's the difference between the cheap Cloud Plus and the previous Clouds that were sold through Vapexhale, other than the cheapies are coming from someone (who appears to be the former manufacturer) on ebay. Is there functionally any difference? I understand the EVO is a new design. I don't have a dog in this hunt, just curious.

I received mine the other day. No ELBs. Shipping label had return address ripped off.

Definitely has signs of poor build quality/assembly; the two halves are misaligned and the hole was cut wrong (may be able to post a pic later), the top edges have scratches, ready light turns green way too fast and the electronic smell (which has burned off after 3 30 min runs at 12). It's too bad the logo is on these units cause I'd hate to make them give Vapexhale a bad rep.

I have yet to hit it due to no ELB's.

It's CLEAR that the seller is blatantly lying and up to this point is getting away with it. The details of the listing are simply not true. Specifically the 'Seller Notes':

"...Each unit has been tested and meets all standards...”

There's no way the unit in the form that is was shipped to me has been 'tested' or meets any 'standards'.

Buyer beware.

Lack of QC is one of the reasons that VXL parted ways with these guys.

Yeah, so I've heard. Someone should get the eBay seller to admit what the item really is in the item description instead of their tactical sales pitch cause I'm too lazy to do it :myday:
