***Gamers*** What are you playing?

I really hate that there are barely any split screen games anymore. I used to have the time of my life hanging out with friends playing videogames. Now if you want to play your friends they have to be at their own house at their own system to play.

The PS3 game Warhawk has splitscreen. It was a really fun game back in the day, unfortunately map packs kinda killed off the community. (everyone just played the new maps, and if you didn't buy the DLC... no one to play with)

I'm currently back to playing State of Decay. The Walking Dead has been better lately, so it inspired me to go back to this lil game. It's very addictive if you are an OCD gamer. I constantly delay story missions in order to grind up skills and do the side missions. The Sandbox mode is coming soon but it sounds redonkulously hard.

This has been one of my biggest complaints with the gaming industry. Sports games are the only ones I know of that consistently have local multiplayer.

The only "new" party game I have is Little Big Planet 2, no split screen but up to four players local co-op. The game is so much fun and the minigames provide so much entertainment; the latter stages are actually challenging but not overly frustrating. It will challenge your timing and thinking. It may look like a kids game but I play with people of all ages and skills. And how can you not enjoy dressing up your sack-boy?

So pissed off after I got home and found out Little Big Planet Karting didn't have local multiplayer. How the fuck can you make a mario-kart-like game and not have any local play? Needless to say I promptly returned it... after playing it for a few hours. It was used without a case, so it wasn't 100% my fault for not reading the case. I had high hopes for that game which it mostly met, but it isn't something I'd play by myself.

If I want to play local multiplayer I'm forced to break out the N64
Can confirm Borderlands 2 has great split-screen multiplayer :-)

I didn't RTFM yet so if you could answer this I'd appreciate it. Do you create a squad of withother live people? I am a solitary gamer and don't want to talk to others and strategize with them. Not very social I know, but I just want to shoot computer generated people in the quiet of my home. Do you create these squads with A.I. or a group of live people? Thanks
I played multiplayer and keep cancelling when it tells me to do Squads 1st.
This was already answered by yeebuddy, but Your squad is your squad. You can play as any member in your squad and any point you earn from leveling those members up, those points go into a global bank.
So in theory you could level up to 10 squadmembers to level 10 and use all of the points on one specific member of your squad. Squad gives you the option to play against only bots, or 1 person and his squad of bots.
If you feel so inclined you can have the full multiplayer experience without ever playing against a real person on live.
I think each squad member has limited prestiges, so over time everyone will have to unlock and develop more than one squad member as they play.

No x-box for me but I've been loving the PS4!! BF4, COD, and, Killzone. I haven't tried KZ yet but the other 2 are good so far.

Feel free to friend me if you're looking for a meat shield. I'm pretty good at attracting fire!!

I still have about 20 360, 30 PS3, 25 PS2 unfinished or still sealed games to get to before I can justify buying a wobbly PS4 with no good games or a giant sized Xbone with no good games :)

State of Decay sandbox DLC comes out next week too, and I'm 1 chapter away from finishing Telltale's walking dead game (so fucking depressing!)

My fav Killzone was the PSP Isometric one. Very cool lil game, although in typical kilzone fashion, it had way too many cheap-hard parts trying to buff out the length.

My 2nd fav KZ was the PS2 ONline beta! Man those were the days

PS4? Xbox One? Nah!

I'm geeked over the new Zelda game for the 3DS. :D

If you were a fan of A Link to the Past you NEED to play this game.

I'd love to, as soon as they port it to PSN / XBL I'm a day 1 buyer! :) I had to give up buying handhelds, so many dust collectors. Every single handheld I own (too many) I bought for just like 1-4 games. Castlevania for the Nintendos, usually some random RPG for Sony

XBONE error messages are apparently trollish comedy gold. I guess it beats the XBOX OG "Dirty Disc Error"

Assassin's Creed IV is eating up most of my gaming time at the moment. I wouldn't be surprised to see Ubisoft split the naval/piratey bits off into a stand-alone franchise. They really de-emphasized the templar/assassin conflict this time around. I think it's for the better of the game, honestly.

It looks like they may be splitting the Pirate stuff into it's own thing separate from the AC franchise. [Link]

Screw the Vita or the 2/3DS, this is a portable gaming setup :D

It needs a bit more work, I've gotta clean up the bottom layer of foam to make the controller slots look a bit cleaner, and maybe more permanently affix all the cables, but I'm pretty happy with it.

I had to, lets say "mod" a set of logitech speakers, so that I could move the control board (It was originally a part of the right speaker). I like having the volume control in the foam there, but I might move it to diectly under the monitor

The white cord is connected to a power strip hidden in the bottom of the case, which has a spare port, because if one has time to game, one has time to vape ;)

You can see the stock transformer for the speakers poking up a bit through the bottom controller slot, I'm thinking I might try to find a smaller one at some point, but it doesn't seem to get hot in there, so I'm not too worried right now.

I've gotta thank FC for inspiring this project, I saw some people posting their pelican case setups to hold glass/vapes, and I thought fuck it, I can jam a PS3 in one of those...
