Ahh thanks for the clarification and for posting the pictures, I guess my memory failed me on that one.
Someone asked this question in the comment section of the campaign and according to Trever, the dimensions of the smell proof case are as follows, 170mm long and 18mm in diameter. Also according to another member of the grasshopper team, the herb compartment holds 4-5 grams.

Obviously it's not ideal but I wouldn't worry to much even if there is a perioed where it doesn't look like they are going to meet the goal. It's actually pretty typical in most crowdfunding that it kind of dies out in the middle and picks up at the end.

Great article, thanks. I realized that some days might come where my spreadsheet could make things look gloomy and cause people to worry, but then again, maybe worrying might incentivize people to spread the word more, yeah?
On another note, my spreadsheet got added to the sidebar of the Grasshopper subreddit. Makes me feel all warm and fuzzy… Hope people enjoy the numbers, it's good to have my incessant refreshing and number crunching being useful to others…

And yeah, I'm just hoping to stave of any potential panic. It feels like this is probably a lot of peoples first at bat with crowd funding. There is a little to much talk of having purchased these pens for me; I have complete faith in them but most crowd funded projects hit delays and you have very limited legal protection.

So, obviously that's pretty weak language. It really works out that if they should fail (Don't think they will for a second) that the only recourse would be an individual lawsuit at some guys who just spent all of their money to watch their dream fail. AKA: Not going to really help anyone.

You've got that right. Over the past year I've been around here for several product launches and only after some hard thinking can I think of a small few that went off without a hitch. The nice thing is that the mods here are very active in keeping things as under control as possible so that threads don't completely collapse in a sea of people grumbling about shipping delays or endlessly restated grievances.
Best of luck as always, Team Grasshopper, it's a long road ahead, but a rewarding one for us all in the end, I think!

Depends on the people making it, guessing the green Grasshopper will be the same price as the other colors, no word on the water adapter price as far as I know.

Hey, they got rid of the two-tone look by the clip area. I like the change. Here's what it used to look like:
When stretch goals are reached, the Grasshopper team will have the resources to manufacture whatever is unlocked. In the case of an accessory like the water pipe adapter, I imagine they'd then allow people to contribute more in order to purchase one. In the case of the green version it should just become an available option for those who already purchased a colored 'hopper.
