It's good to see more use videos, if you watch it and press 3 it skips to a nice hit, you can see it has good potential for at least mflb-level vapor, but the guy practically spits the vapor out, zero inhale I'm sure.
But I like the fact that he just kept on hitting it and it had the power to keep heating and not cool off, seems promising!
The second video was better, the point of a demo video is to show your product at the limit of it's capabilities. Like car commercials with the truck hanging mid-air from it's hitch. Cera had a huge popularity surge when they made videos of their vape turning load after load into clouds. This is a small flower vape, but we still want to see as much vapor as possible

By the way, I highly recommend that you and anyone else in this position go ahead and contribute $1 (or even $99 in your case) as soon as you can. You can always contribute the remainder after you figure out which contribution level you want to go for. $1 donations still raise the number of contributors listed on the campaign, and that helps Grasshopper become more visible on Indiegogo!
Does the WPA screw on? if so, does that mean you would need a different one for the concentrates attachment?

I'm still interested, but every video after the first one is just showing small sips of vapor. I would like to see if the grasshopper is capable of a "lung-busting" hit or not, just as a point of reference. Since we haven't been shown anything approaching this, I'm still trying to figure out what the grasshopper can actually do.
I did donate a dollar to show support, but I would like more evidence that the grasshopper will actually meet my needs before kicking in for real.

how come the titanium grasshopper is only 40% more while with the cera, the titanium version was double the price?

Depends on how much profits the makers want I guess? Thats my best guess, seems like they are using quality materials from everything said thus far.

Ceras CORE is Ti. You inhale air that passes through the Ti core. Hence a higher grade Ti I am SURE due to off gassing. OF could explain more..

Actually the Ti and SS Cera models are the same deal as here, with the SS and Ti only showing up in the outer housing of the Oil and EJ cores, as well as the switch and screw plate. The internals of the SS and Ti Cera cores are identical, as will be the case with the 'hopper. That's why, with both the Cera and the GH, the only difference between the models is weight, looks, and resistance to small-space corrosion. You would only get a flavor difference if the SS and Ti were being used as heating elements.
I don't think that the Ti 'hopper has a SS air path, either?
There is no danger from off-gassing with any grade of Ti when used at vaporization temperatures, and especially not when it's only being used for the body and not as a heating element. The only time you have to worry about Ti grade is with Nails, due to being torched heavily. The Ti grade issue with nails is a fluke problem, too, because the 'problem nails' actually contain a Ti alloy that is more expensive to create and more durable (grade 5). It showed up in cheap nails because it was recycled from rejected medical components.
As for the higher price of the Ti Cera versus what we see here, it's known that TET built a larger profit margin into the Ti model as opposed to the SS units which have a very small profit margin. That's why Ti Ceras are available from some third-party retailers whereas the SS version can only be purchased directly from TET. Exactly how much bigger that profit margin was, I don't know.

I've been waiting for 50k to see if any new videos are posted before I put my money down. I'm ready to commit but since they are comparing it to desktop vapes I really want to see a video putting out HI/Cloud/SSV hits. A video like that would definitely seal the deal and guarantee this thing meets funding, it seems like this is the consensus that on-the-fencers are waiting to see. On paper this vape is everything I've been looking for (minus an all glass vapor path) but the videos seem a little contrasting. In the first video he did get a nice draw, but it seemed like he had to inhale for a long time to get there. This slightly concerns me, as being one very interested in the water pipe adapter for example, I would like to see that this vape actually has the power to milk a water pipe.

The inner surface on the rendering looks totally smooth, so I wonder if it's a magnet inside?

It doesn't screw in, its just a friction fit, you can jam it in quite snuggly

Probably not to heavy, personally I like a little heft in stuff I put in my pocket, I tend to freak out every 10 mins when I have light things in my pockets due to me thinking someone might have pick pocketed me...haha.

agreed. to say it can hang with a desktop vape means it can spit plooms of vapor. none of the videos ive seen are anywhere close to desktop vape production. not saying that every vape has to bust lungs, but its nice to know they can. especially if advertised as such.
keeping my lookin balls peeled on this one.
i really want to see more usage videos on it.. especially the max setting. Hoping someone else will use it so I can see how it does with a different person that the one who knows how to use it.
I gotta wait for my paycheck and take care of some bills. I might order one for Christmas. If this does come to fruition, I would be satisfied with my vaporizer combo ATM.

Completely agreed...while I really, really want the smell proof case, spending $40 on a case for something that cost me $89 (or $99 for those who missed the early bird) just doesn't stomach well with me. I believe the Grasshopper guys are missing out on a significant revenue stream by not offering a stainless steal (or even aluminum) smell proof case, which they could easily get $20-25 for.How about a Stainless Steel version?
Nearly at 50%! I'm really tempted to contribute the extra dough and upgrade to the ti model. Some pics of a mockup might help me along...
I have been tempted to pony up a little extra too for the TI version, but am still undecided. Anyone have the picture from the old Zenpen blog of all the mockups of the pens made out of various types of metals? I tried looking through the Grasshopper blog and while the old Zenpen posts are there, the pictures do not load. @Zenpen any chance you can post the picture I am speaking of?
