I have verified that this works...
I have been vaping nic juice for a couple of months now and have decided to try this.
Firstly... The standard ecigs that are sold really suck. I purchased a DSE901 for 35 bucks from VaporKings.com. Since most people (at first) want it to look and feel like a real cigarette, the manufacturers had to use batteries that are too small. The ones that come with it are 3.7 volt lithiums that last for about an hour. I wound up buying like 6 of em at 15 bucks before I said fuck this. Also, if you smoked regular cigarettes (like me), and not ultra lights then you really have to suck REALLY hard to get a decent drag. I have since made my own "mod". It is smaller than a pack of smokes, uses regular 4 AA rechargable batteries (which I already had), vapes at 5 volts which is the sweet spot for good drag - (any higher voltage kills the 901 atomizers). Quickly... get a 4 AA holder, a DC input jack and a momentary contact .5 amp pushbutton switch from Radio shack, then wire up the black to the sleeve and the red to the switch and then the center pin of the jack, find a cool housing for it all, get a few 901 atomizers for 8 bucks and you are set. You need the 4AA rechargables and not regular AA's as the rechargables won't put out more than 5.3ish volts at full charge. My batteries last 3 days without charge and it vapes like a champ. Atomizers last about 3 weeks to a month. If your vaping nic liquid you can find it for 5 bucks a 10ml bottle from litecigusa.net, they last me about 5 days per bottle.
Sorry for the diversion... On to the green dragon vape...
Tried this with half a gram of mediocre bud. Broke it up real good. Baked it in the toaster oven at 325 for 5 minutes. Put it in a small glass jar. Added enough pure grain alcahol to basically cover it all (about 1/2 ounce). Got a small pot, filled it with enogh water to cover the weed/alcahol mixture. Put the budcahol jar in the pot. Turned on the stove, with a meat theremometer in it, cooked it at 170 degrees for 20 minutes. Let it cool. Stained it through a coffe filter. This made 2ml of green dragon. The liquid was green, smelled like budcahol, was runny like water.
I vaped it 2 drops at a time, got like 4 drags per 2 drops (vaped like a cigarette drag). Used a total of 10 drops, so like 20 pulls or so.
THE GOOD
Got a nice buzz!!! It gave off a decent amount of vapor, no taste on inhale, bud taste on exhale through nose, and gave off no weed smell at all. (according to wifey).
Mixture made 2ml. A mililiter is 29 drops. 29 x 2 = 58. I used 10 drops, so I should be able to replicate the buzz 5 more times on that 1/2 gram, not too shabby.
THE BAD
I killed a three day old atomizer. This is probalbly because the green dragon is too thin, being alcahol based it probably dried out the atomizer too quickly and I probably vaped a totally dry atomizer at 5 v. This is what will certainly kill them. Next time I will probably add vegetable glycerin to thicken it up at about a 50% ratio. This will probably keep the atomizer moist enough to not kill it, but it will unfortunately take double the pulls to get the same buzz. I dont wann try it again till I get some more atomizers though.
THE UGLY
A pretty cool experiment, but I am not sure it was worth all the effort. I could have just as easilly took 4 or 5 pulls from my one hitter, got just as high, and still had enough to do that 5 more times.
Give it a shot yourselves.
Im not sure if BHO diluted in glycerine is still enough of an oil to cause harm though.
So as soon as I can figure out what to do I'll start.
Just crossed 30 day mark this week without breaking a sweat! Tried other ways to quit....smoked 25+ years. By far the easiest way to stop the smoking and what led me to find this forum 
on the 'no smoke' lo, especially the cancer sticks. I gave 'em up years ago, but my lungs were still getting hit from mj smoke. Since I found vapor I only smoke when I'm 'vapeless' and just can't resist sampling someone's high grade bud.
