Seriously though, I was just at the mall and they were selling these things out of a kiosk. The saleswoman was walking around puffing on one, and she was blowing out huge clouds of vapor. Now I want one haha!

I wonder how efficient these things are? When I make Green Dragon, a dropperful gets me good for a couple hours... I wonder if a dropperful in the cartridge would have the same, lesser, or greater effect? I'll probably pick one of these up after Christmas.

I am 98% convinced that this will work with green dragon, im going to try and make a very concentrated version of green dragon using everclear and a 1/4 oz, ill probably double boil cook it until 3/4 of it has evaporated. I plan to mix the GD with their no nicotine menthol liquid and maybe some flavoring.


I need money!

Of course this is only my theory, but the GD should hit you a hell of a lot faster if it is absorb through your lungs. Of course, we wont know for sure until someone tries it. I am not sure if pure GD would work in the E-Cig, you still need a carrier agent for the THC once it has been vaporized. I think it is worth experimenting with pure GD and a mixture with VG. I think that if you use pure GD you will not see any vapor.

Budget: $175-200CAD

Bacardi 151 = $40
E-Cigarette Starter kit + 1 spare atomizer = $78
1/8oz of stuff = $25 (varies)
Nature's Answer Vegetable Glycerin 120ml = $25
Flavouring (Optional) = $10

Total = $168-178CAD

All the leg work has been done, all we need is a selfless person to try it.

Oh yeah i forgot about the VG, i do beleive this has a hell of a lot of potential. I was reading that if you are able to use everclear that you can actually completely evap off the everclear because it has no flavorings / etc and end up with pure THC, i have no clue if this would be an oil or what but if i was able to evap it down to the point where 2 drops got you baked i would be as giddy as a school girl.

humm I just came across this thread (doh lil late) ...I'm not to sure to rightly understand ... by filling a e-cig with a cartrige of pure thc and alcool you can get vapor out of a 50buck e-cig ?? hummm I want one ...hehe at least after someone try it :p I can't be the dummy sucker each time

All the posts after i posted seemed like they felt i had insulted their home and their product. Wanting to taint it with THC. Apparently i should just " smoke a joint " or take it from experience and cook it. I saw a few posts that were just about to discuss using everclear as a dilutant but i wont get to see those posts now haha.

The idea behind this is to buy some Vegetable Glycerine amd a bottle of EverClear ( 95% ethanol here in the states ) Im going to make Green Dragon using the Ever clear and some bud, i will evaporate off 75% of the everclear so the remaining Green Dragon is super saturated with THC. I then plan to mix VG, GD, and Menthol flavoring together. Ill probably try with 25% VG 25% Menthol and 50% GD

Take this liquid and use a dropper to fill up one of their cartridges and then the atomiser should indeed vaporize the green dragon tincture releasing all of the precious THC inside :)

As you may or may not know E-Cigs have been banned in certain parts of the world. That forum that you posted on is for the promotion/legalization of E-Cigs. Our thing on this forum already has a stigma attached to it and adding our cause to their cause would be detrimental, this was precisely the reason I decided not to register and ask questions there. Much like how we have rules here the same applies to their forum.

Yeah, no doubt inhalation is a faster path to the brain than digestion, but I'm more concerned with efficiency, i.e., how much of the THC I put in the e-cigarette will be delivered to me vs. just swallowing some green dragon.

Pure THC is pretty much like high-grade BHO - a sticky semi-solid at room temperature. I'm pretty sure you need the ethanol as a solvent for this to work.

1 eye dropper full is about 1ml

So if we follow the formula VG/50% FL/25% GD/25% we would need 4 drops to acheive 1ml of GD.

As for the efficiency, we wont know until someone tries it ;).

Original Penstyle Cartridge = 8-10 tobacco cigarettes
Pocket Mini = 6-7 tobacco cigarettes
Cigar = Who knows. But if we had to try and put it at an equivalent cigarette total, I would have to say, 1 Cigar cartridge is equivalent to approx 12-15 tobacco cigarettes.

i think another obstacle to loading thc is the difference in potency between thc and nicotine... nicotine is way more potent by weight and therefore would constitute less of the total volume of the cartridge

it might even turn out that you cant get enough cannabinoids in one puf to really be able to equate to a hit of vapor, so it would take longer to get high, but conversely, if you get high before you leave and just use the ecig to keep up the high

Its all speculation now from this point on, we need a selfless person to step up and try it.

The model that I suggested, DSE-901B, has a cartridge capacity of 2-4 drops.

One thing for sure though, if you are using pure GD then you will not see any vapor. The VG is what makes the so called "smoke", without this vapor I dont think the THC would be mobile enough to reach your lungs. Also, VG/PG has a natural sweet taste to it, so I guess that is a bonus.

Im still here but still broke, im thinking about maybe selling the volcano and if i do this ill definatly put some cash aside to give this a try, wouldnt be for awhile though :/

Heh if all else fails ill just smoke out the roor little sister, at this point its all a matter of experimentation and personal preferance. I plan to get one of these e cigarettes so i can contain my nicotine habbit wherever the fuck i want, and mostly inside my house with a pleasent scent.

I have finaly sinned , I just bought a GreenSmoke e-cigarette ( http://greensmokeshop.com ) . I got it on ebay for a decent price (50$) but my goal is to stop at 100% smoke cigarette ,cause I still smoke some when I go in the bars .....I'll let you know how it work and also if it is possible to modify it

It certainly looks interesting and their have been varying reports on being able to use MJ in it successfully, so hopefully you'll be able to give us the skinny.


Has anyone seen these used in public? Or could you even tell? I'm just curious about their popularity at bars, concerts, parks, etc.
