Arizer Solo

GSH

On a Möbius plane
Here's something interesting to note:

When torontorvaporizer.ca replaced my M1C, it was with an M1A! I sent an e-mail response to TV pointing out the model difference and to date, I've never received a response. I even said how much I liked the M1A over the M1C!
Funnily enough I got my warranty replacement from the ebay seller goodgets_uk today and it's an M1B1...seems to perform like my M1A1 did before it's charging problem. I do however have another M1B1 unit which seems to run a bit cooler and not give such thick hits.

I think that QC at Arizer is a bit lacking tbh. 3 units I have all perform differently (noticeably so) and that's not counting the M1C1 units that seem to be faulty. But I love them when working correctly, they are so versatile and pretty cheap to boot! :D

I received my Arizer Solo a few days ago and while I love the product and at first it worked flawlessly, as of last night it seems the heating chamber just doesn't stay warm after a bit of use. I can get a few good hits out of it at first but quickly it just drops off and leaves 3/4ths of the bowl green and untouched. I've contacted Toronto Vaporizers and Arizer, and while Toronto Vaporizers has been less than helpful I'm still waiting for a proper response from Arizer.

Has anyone had this issue with their unit before? It's been pretty aggravating to say the least but the Solo is phenomenal otherwise.

Pack it a bit tighter.

How full are you packing your stems? What happens if you stir and then start hitting the stem again after it starts petering off? Does it show on the LED's that it is staying at temp? And when you say it's getting cold, do you just mean that in a relative way or does it really get cold enough you can touch it?

Thanks for the help, dude. Didn't think to make sure it wasn't just the auto shutoff.

Wait, of course I did.

Seriously, I haven't heard that issue before. So without the ability to offer you meaningful help, all I could muster was a (bad) joke.

What settings do you use?

:peace:

Stu,
I give it more than enough time to keep up so my assumption is that it stops heating. It's an M1C1 unit.
Unfortunately from what I read here those units were pretty much all bad. Most heat up in 30 seconds or less to 7. So I believe most had to send theirs in for replacements. You have contacted arizer so just sit back and wait.

Here's a picture of one of my bowls after it gave out, packed far tighter than I usually have it, and far greener than it should be compared to how it operated a few days ago.

I set it to 7 and take 2-3 good draws before it stops heating. And by stops heating, I suppose I mean relatively but mostly just because I figure that could be the only thing that's happening. Unless I'm missing something.

The LED says it stays at the regular temp however so it could be that isn't the problem.

That sucks. I see your new, all I can do is reassure you that the solo is generally a very reliable vape.

Quick question: If I use my Solo with a bong, will the hits be the same as those from the PNWT?
Is there a noticeable difference in any aspect?

Depending on your setup, you can go a lot bigger with your glass than the pnwt. It's a little easier to overpower the oven with a monster tube, but then there's different diffusion, ice pinches, and lots of other stuff possible in the bong world. I have the pinnacle wt, but most often I reach for the 19mm gong, and whatever piece feels right at the moment. Flexibility.

One noticeable difference IMO is that with a bong you can enjoy milking the can a bit to see the vapor that you'll be consuming. The PNWT doesn't have much room to see the vapor. If you're into that, of course. ;)

Thank you all for your kind answers, I must make it my duty to experience the solo with a bong sometime in the near future.

Versatility with this machine is...incredible to say the least.

Ive noticed one member had put his gear into a pelican. I would love to see what cases and organizer people use to store/organize their units. I my self am getting a pelican case soon and do some foam cutting.
