I was under the impression that all honey oil was alcohol extraction. Butane extraction came around in the early 90's and didn't gain popularity until the 2000's. Info from word of mouth, my own experience and some reading.
Actually Cannabis Alchemy by Dr Gold was published in 1974 i think. Not the same guys that do gold caps. But i think the same process.
On a side note, The intermittent issue with the tops i think we have solved the issue. Ill have more about it in the next two days as final testing is done to make sure.

There you go, the knowledge increases. This is the process that I thought was behind Budder for a long time while it was a guarded secret on the Westcoast (turned out it was just whipped BHO.) No one fucks with Acetate extraction no mo.

In about a week maybe two I hope to have a process using CO2 or NITRO?
Currently BHO is easy for me plus I achieve very nice flavors!
Alcohol I've used as well.
Flavor wise I never got great flavor with alcohol.
It could just be me blowing it?
If I lived in a hot humid climate I would move to were it's dry and cannabis is legal!
The CO2 I like a lot as well however I have to buy it.
If I learn a cost effective way I'll give you the formula procedures.

not sure they do, but i know that cannabis alchemy run we did was killer. In fact im not gonna try it anymore as its not safe to even do it. Home made glove boxes arnt my thing.

The equipment to get CO2 into a supercritical state runs in the tens of thousands.
had one interesting things they are. Also not only do they cost a bunch the tanks are missile's waiting for someone to fuck up and take out the whole house and maybe a neighbor. Just not something i want to play with in a back yard.

I have a $2000 VACUUM system I built for under $200.
If I can do this for $0.10 on the $1.00 I will.
If not at least I looked into it!

1 extraction vessel alone 1L will cost you somewhere around 5k to make. These things are rated at 10k Psi.
10k Psi in a room = not so good of a outcome if something decides to go.

also all my qwiso runs always tasted better than my bho, is that normal? because ive seen alot of ppl saying that bho tastes better yet my qwiso always yielded a very nice tasting product

I just got myself a Hercules sr-71 and I'm liking it so far. I have both the blue and white rods and have been using the white for my shatter. I cut the coil to about 30. I I instantly got great clouds. But only a few rips. Does this thing really go through wax that fast?
Well the buffer is what keeps the rest, so you just keep reloading it to get more. The oil does not magically disappear if thats what your asking. It just produces a large volume of vapor in a short period of time.
Got my 3.7v kiss cart today. My first impressions are wow. This little sucker can produce some good vapor. Loaded it up and for the first one to two hits taste was pretty good but at the 3rd and 4th puff the taste started to diminish and started to taste more like the 1.5 and 5 ohm carts.
Overall this little cart does a hell of a job delivering. Can't wait for the kiss with the titanium wire and updated ceramic.. This should probably fix the taste issues.

no carbon filter, just really extended length 18 to 14 i got custom made so herc can sit in it nicely
I feel like the amount of vapor I got was not equal to the wax I put in though
