ebay has a number of "cloud plus" units for $125 with the dry mouth piece....is this a steal or worth a shot? it says brand new, and I have been searching the forum but can't quite tell if it is worth the risk. Also, since it says brand new would i in any way be able to claim it with vapexhale if it does die out on me?
Thanks!

THere's a thread on this forum called "vapexhale cloud super super cheap". It is about 10 pages deep so far and is strictly about those $125 clouds. All your wonders will be answered there

Seriously debating grabbing one of these for some electroforming experiments, even with my EVO coming. It'd be heartbreaking to pimp it out and have it only run for two months, though. Hrm. :/

I could get a spare for parts, I guess, but I'm a bit low on disposable income lately. Actually, if these are made from original, unused parts the old manufacturer kept, VXL could negotiate a bulk lot of these (for even further discount) and use the parts to repair broken pluses. Might calm a lot of the new people coming into the thread every month with that exact complaint, and it has to be more cost-effective snapping up existing parts than getting the custom heater unit, etc, remanufactured on a case by case basis?

Does anyone have any tips for the double cap method?

I put some shatter in the double cap, didn't smash the caps in, just put them lightly together and turned my cloud to 3. Really light vapor nothing special at all and it left a ton of residue on my caps.

Should i crank temps up, load more, or is this normal?

Residue means the temperature was not high enough.

When I vape concentrates at max temp with the VXC, there is no residue.
When I've gone lower, I have seen residue combined with lackluster vapor.

Camping cloud?

If I remember correctly, that idea was pretty much abandoned when we were informed that using your Cloud like that would void warranty. I'm sure there is some way for it to work safely though.

I'm hoping the EVO will not lose its warranty if used in an non-wall outlet so we can figure out how to do this. I would love being able to bring my EVO to fests and such.

My cloud seems to perform way better if the ELB is like half full as opposed to being 3/4 or all the way full, anyone else feel this way?

Im still getting great hits off of it no doubt but its like its in ULTRA VAPORIZE mode when about half full. Seems to be the magic spot for instaclouds

Try it 25% full. Then 20%. I get much better results with smaller loads. Sometimes it's hard to put in so little, but the results speak for themselves. Larger loads take longer to start milking, and they can restrict airflow more that you might think.

I think many of us feel that way and have for a long time. @Stu did the most experiments even graphing the results I think. The optimum fill for me has always been around .15ish which is maybe 1/4 an ELB.

I figured you guys already definitely put work in on that subject. Thanks for the input, I'm sure it's been asked many a time!

After I'm done with this half full bowl I'll try putting even less in but i hear you about that being hard to do ;)

Or I might pack it full and let it heaat the bowl for like 5 minutes before i hit. That was my teick to always getting fat rips on super heavy packed bowls with my solo.

Insomnia. Ugh. Thank goodness for my trusty ticker. Loading an ELB halfway and slapping a dab of concentrated something or other on the cap bottom. I'm not a concentrate guy, but my supplier keeps giving me wax, oil, and what not, so I'm breaking it out to try and knock me out. It's sticky, black and gummy. Called "RIP City Mix"

Cheers, all!

If it's black send it back!

You should never pack the elb. Only loosely fill.

Sorry for the confusion, i never pack it in, i do loosely fill it. I just meant pack as in load it at all ;)

On that note, i would like to report my findings :buzz::buzz::buzz:

So I decided to give my ol' Solo a trick a whirrrr. Loaded a ELB full, let it run for a good 10-15 minutes before I loaded the bowl so it was nice and hot. Loaded the ELB and waited another 5 minutes. Started hitting it and fat fat clouds from the get go!

Conclusion? Clouds!!!! :science::science::science:

VapeXhale does not authorize, support, or warrant the vaporizers in this listing. We are in no way affiliated nor do we profit or benefit from the sale of these units.

It would be terrible if a bunch of random people with high ebay rankings bought these and then had to go through and dispute with paypal that the items were damaged or never received. It would really mess up a seller's feedback and paypal might have to flag the account. As someone who has sold on ebay multiple times there really is little recourse for sellers. It really puts sellers at a disadvantage. It would be terrible if that happened. Just terrible.

I ethically question such a process... but then I also ethically question that they get put upon Ebay in first place....
which reminds me of lots of other things I ethically question in today's Human society's :worms:

Back to vaping and studying the cloud thread so I can distract myself from the Evo wait :ninja:

Wow.
They shouldn't be allowed to sell those IMO.
Thiefs.
Well the backstory is that the seller is actually the company that used to make the Cloud, so they are legit original models, but when VapeXhale and them had their fight I'm guessing there was some inventory that was produced but not yet sold to VXH. So it's just the manufacturer selling off some excess stock (but no support/warranty) priced at a loss (?)

Now if VXH actually paid for the Cloud's to be produced, and the maker refused to ship them and is just trying to make more money then I 100% agree they should be taken down. But I don't think ebay will take down anything that isn't specifically illegal...
