All my days in a daze...
But even more technically it dry fires so not exactly the perc cubed scenario.

I've asked a couple of peeps who use the same sorta setup, an the only real functional difference I could figure out was that it effectively reduces the volume of the downstem a bit.

I wouldn't say there's anything wrong with using a downstem in an ion, just that I personally wouldn't be expecting the downstem to be doing anything other than act as a reducer adapter.

:2c:

Ahhh, that makes sense. Hopefully you saved @TrAin x Wr3cK some cash. :)

Thanks for the info Frederick. Good to know and really appreciated, luckily......before I read this I was originally getting the 18/18mm for $59.95 but just got off the phone and reduced it to a 14/18mm and now it cost me $34.00....so I saved myself $25+. I didnt like the extra extension on the 18/18m, thought it might make it a lil too bulky lookin. If its a bad hit and I dont like it.....it sucks but atleast it was a $30 loss, and not a $60 loss.

All my days in a daze...
Just received 60B today that I bought in the current ALT sale.
It sat in Aussie customs for 3 freakin days. I could see it in the tracking... just sitting there.
Today is Friday (no Sat delivery in Aus) so if it didn't come today I was going to be shaking my fist at the heavens.

But, it came. And I love it. It's NOT perfect. There are two tiny bubbles in the weld between the percs.
But they're harmless. And I don't expect perfection in hand made items.

I already have an ION Matrix and I thought the new 60B would render the ION redundant.
But, it doesn't. They're definitely different pieces that hit very differently. The 60B has that chug most stemless pieces do while the Dewaar ION doesn't have a chug at all and is buttery smooth.
But the chug on the 60B isn't a negative, it's quite pleasant in fact.

When I bought the 60B I thought I'd end up selling the ION or maybe the 60B if I didn't like it.
But neither are going anywhere. I love them equally, yet differently, like children

Pics to follow later when I'm not so blitzed... its not like you havent seen one before. :haw:

Shrike

Flower Potted, Maxed, & Rio'd.
The 60B is going to be my next vape...I am jealous :) I also have an Ion matrix and love that piece.

Thanks for your descriptions...you make the 60B sound very nice to use. Enjoy!:nod:

For anybody interested.....ALT just stocked up on some Mobius. First time ive seen a IonReti there in last 6 months or so. Couple nanos and stratos added and a 65t.

I was hoping when I called to change the size of my downstem...I might of helped get an Ion on ALT site, and not just the store cuz I think they hold stuff for the store IMO......I asked him "Whats up w Mobius? You guys still get the Ions or what, or are they kinda rare?"

He said "Yeah we get, he said they're usually gone in a day or so"

Comparatively over the life of the Clear Bubbler with Matrix Perc does anyone know what the cheapest it has gone for in the past. Cant decide if I want to do an impulse buy.

This is the perfect test because I know they will have a 4/20 sale next year similar to this. Let me know if you guys have those bubbled mouthpieces from ALT. I know Ima need a matrix again, and this would definitely help me choose if I should go with ALT or not. I dont like the whole restocking fee charge etc for returns.

NICE SCORE (at that price for sure)! I followed suite, but after so many horror stories of my own from ALT, I went with Kulture for a Reti Clear Bubbler. Have been interested in this piece for a LONG time. Hope it's as nice as my ION Matrix, as far as build quality. :D :peace:

Any of you fellers use a Mobius with a Solo or would that be overkill?

Overkill? Nah.

That's the 1st pic I've seen of a Solo+Mobius setup.

I thought perhaps the airflow would be too much for the Solo to handle.

I've always wanted to buy a Mobius just for the looks of them but due to the cost I'd also have to be able to use it ;)

My WT that I currently use with my Solo works great but hunching over all the time to hit it strains my neck.

Something with a bent neck mouthpiece like you have in that pic would be ideal.

The airflow is not a problem really. The bub actually helps with a less restricted draw.
Stu is that a reti or bubbler? Looks like a reti.
It's an ion reti bub.

If you had a 60t and a Ion reti.....jw what Mobius piece would you get.....strato.....nano.....bubbler? Cuz I might get a new piece around 4/20. I wanna keep the Mobius family goin cuz my first main piece was the 60t, but I might halft to look else where...

Jus want some opinions. Thanks

So far, I've owned the following möbius pieces:
60t stereo matrix
Ion matrix bubbler
Clear matrix bubbler
Clear reti bubbler
Nano matrix tube
Matrix disc

My clear matrix is my favourite piece of glass.
Not just my favourite möbius, my favourite piece period.

So I'd suggest one of them next

Oh, I too often pair my ion matrix with my solo.
You don't get the full airflow of a desktop vape, but it's still a very nice pairing.

I also like the solo with my clear matrix :brow:

I had a piece with a showerheadhead dewar and would run a showerhead downstem inside the joint. Aside from reducing the stem, it also makes cleaning much easier. Most of the particulate and reclaim will bond in to the downstem, which can be removed and maneuvered for cleaning. I think most here are probably using rezblock & ... whatever that powder is, can't think of the label. The one with it's own thread. Want to say PBR, but that'd be beer lol. But for anyone still on the ol' shake 'n break method it pretty significantly reduces the time spent on cleaning the larger volume bubbler piece. I went from iso/salt without the downstem shaking around 3-4 min trying to get the gunk free, to with the stem I could use just iso for about a minute and the remainder just seemed to clear out.

There may also be a slight benefit to any dry diffusion happening... maybe. Probably negligible. Doesn't make a crazy difference in the vapor itself, just the ease of clean up.

Thanks Bob, pulled the Trigger on the Matrix Clear as well. Looks like the're all out. Appreciate the heads up @TrAin x Wr3cK

To let my fellow vaporists know of the current Mobius availability .. ALT actually did run out of those bubblers (Matrix Clear) last evening. However, they are once again IN STOCK. The Matrix Micro Clear, IN STOCK (%15 off). Grab em if you don't got em!:cool:
