Hey all, so after busting my double lattice out of its bag from a brief hiatus I noticed what appears to be 2 hairline fractures running along the joint where the splash guard is attached. I was wondering if there is anything that can be done about this and how concerned I should be of these developing into a full on break. This is very troubling to me as I have only owned this piece since May and it has seen seldom use and been handled with care. Maybe some of the knowledgeable glassheads or @Takavor23 will be able to provide some insight. I hope this is the correct location for this post

This is the one on the back

The front one. The spot of resin that appears to be internal is what I first noticed. When running my fingernail along that portion of the glass it feels slightly rough at that location.

hmm, better let the experts shime in here, all I know si that i had this on one of my bubblers before, and after washing it repeatedly, read flushing it with hot and cold water, the crack did develop further...it has yet to crack completely...

If it is fixable? I guess so, but am sure @Takavor23 will have an answer to that...

Its a stress fracture, typically happens from any major temperature change or small bangs. As with all glass its susceptible to stress. Not much you can do, it will eventually break but it looks like a clean meld when it does happen. I have no idea when it could happen my piece has had a crack in it since the second day i got it and its been about 2 years. But then again it could crack tomorrow. Just let me know what happens and as always keep me posted on new details.

Still hoping to see some pics of the sidecar mini lattice piece. Been excited about that for a while!

Friend of mine is getting a pink double bubbler from Lev. It must have been delayed since we've been waiting 15 days since it was going to go out. Holding strong! I know it will be worth it in the end.

Yupp, that's her. She comes in a bunch of different colors. That's actually a great price

Tis' the season of chaos guys. If anyone wants to order anything let me know with a heads up. I will be shipping everything myself from my place so nothing gets confused with shop orders.
