using an ego battery and trying to figure out which kiss cart to order. I see two models but not sure which to choose
not really sure on your ego threading thats whats holding you up. Possible to take a close up side view pic and uploaded and that will help me help you?

No problem! Shatter and wax should work equally well in KISS carts but CO2 may be a bit runny. Shatter, wax, and CO2 all work well in the regular Omi carts. My personal choice to use shatter stems from production method, rather than it working better or not than another style.

In case this got overlooked,
I saw earlier in the thread Ophos uses the same threading as Ego, however I do not own an Ophos myself so I am not completely certain. My plan was to order an Ophos KISS along with my v2.xx KISS for max versatility but the Ophos KISS color selection sold out quickly so I do not know for sure yet.
The Opho's threading is different then a standard ego threading. It is similar but there is a few differences.

I'm not really having any problem yet. Just want to make sure to order the correct cart for use with an ego. It appears to not be the Ophos one and is the...whatever is not the Ophos and that will work with an adapter like the omicron cartridge.
Hello all! I'm a first time poster but have been reading these threads (including the last 100 pages or so) for quite a while.
I currently have a 2.4ohm omicron cart on my AtmosRX battery. I have had sporadic luck with this cart and some wax. I ideally want this is something that I can load and use for multiple hits (30+), so the KISS does not seem to be an option for me.
I originally loaded my cart without weighing it (dumb) and put about .6 in it. When I weighed another empty cart I had it weighed 7.5g, so I assumed that's what the carts weighed. I have since heard that these are more commonly around 7.9g.
My "full" cart now weighs 8.1 grams, which had me confused as to why it wasn't hitting well with so much left. I now believe that I'm actually down to the last .2gr which I've also heard cannot really be utilized, and is when I should reload. However, I have tasted the "burnt" taste a couple times when hitting recently, so I'm wondering if I should just toss this cart altogether, or if it is OK to add another .5?
I have also had an issue where oil has actually come out the TOP of the airhole. This wasn't from loading, but was actually pulled all the way up the inside of the cart. Is it ruined?
Lastly, is there a new version of the Omicron cart coming out anytime soon? Before I buy more of the current cart, I want to make sure there isn't something coming over the horizon.
Any input/help is greatly appreciated!

i have a question about the KISS cart. I have Omi v2.5 black and Persei black.
Are the KISS carts at 3.7v the same for the both? they're list separately

I thought it was a HDV for the OMICRON?
I like the ss kit for the omicron because it comes with the AW battery that IMO is stronger than the battery that comes in the omicron kit. So for me I get less times that I am recharging it plus its smaller. With the K.I.S.S. it should work great !
When you are ordering the K.I.S.S. carts its just like the normal carts its based on the ohms then threading style. 2 ohm & 5 ohm are the options. The Ophos threaded carts only come in 2 ohm and Black and Chrome color options.

Back in April when I ordered it, this was called the "14500 Matte Black Conversion Kit". There do not appear to be separate 14500 batteries for sale now though.

In regards to orig 3.7 carts ,hav found productive method to extend wick life ~ ASA ,clouds become wispy ,it's time to empty reclaim ,then continue vaping since near-empty cart will be easier 'til wisp occurs down the road; then ,simply refill w/ reclaim ~ one should find that instead of refilling @ .4g-.5g (thickening scabby wick) ,cart can hold out 'til .25-.35g ,an example of extended life ,more value (25-40%)
It might sound incidental ,but at the expiration rate of a cart/3-4 wks ,it's worth the xtra few minutes it takes to perform ~ hope this helps for those that are budget conscious

Hi guys, I have batteries 3.7v with ego threading and i want to try omicron cartridges 1.5 and 2.4 ohm, omicron threading is not the same, isn't it? so I need an adaptater 510 batterie/601 cartridges?

So the kiss cart is literally 1-3hits at a time cause i put in .2 grams of wax and most of it melted and settled at the bottom underneath the coils. I got 1 really good hit but now it not close enough to the coils to vape. Loading it up every time i wanna hit is not ideal for me. Time consuming! So far on a scale of 1-5, i give it a 3. How bout releasing a regular omi cart with ceramic wick? Then i can shove 3/4 gram of goodness and be good to go any moment.
I wish we are able to make this design as we have tried and it has failed. Simply put the silica wick is just way better at wicking up essential oil. The design we have tried is called the 1701 and we just couldnt make them work. Its just to much that can go wrong so we cant really engineer for every issue unless we go into $200 cartridges.
