Can't wait to start using this method with my Cloud! I've used this method in the past, I don't notice much difference in effect, but flavor and experience were greatly improved.

u guys arent worried about toxic chemicals and minerals and stuff that could be in tap water vapor?

i worked for a city water department, and i can tell u firsthand that even good quality tap water is filled with large amounts(relatively) of various chemicals and minerals and metals and toxins etc...drinkign it, is one thing but inhaling it i dunno think about chlorine, thats a pretty nasty thing in gas form

Even more reason to use distilled water

chlorine is especially bad for you when you breath it in while showering. There are some pretty good shower head filters. i use one

as people put flavours in their hooka water, i have been using hot herbal teas in my vapor bong

ok so after thinking my oil rig bong was too big withh too much surface area a water I dumped the water out. That seened to give me more flavor but I was missing some thing.

Many years ago I met a couple guys who did hot water bongs but they lived out in the desert where it was literally over 100 deg, so it just seed stupid to me. But they did get you ripped.

So I loaded the bong / oil rig with hot tap water and the flavor and intensity really seemed to go up.... hmmm..

Now this morning a just did a Solo bowl through some hot tap water in an old bong and .... I'm pretty ripped....

Then I was making tea and all most tried boiling water but the bong was too hot and a light bulb in my head went off saying "hey dummy it is boiling water!" So how hot do you go?

@Iwien You know I was very hesitant when it came to the hot water. I had picked up a really nice sativa, Platinum J-1 for the masses of sativa heads, I want to report back that I will be using hot faucet water for lung expansion and faster consumption. I feel like the heat actually helps keep the flow of my vapor to be smooth and easier to absorb. Like early recent posts on this thread claims that cold water will inevitably make you want to take a breather, I could agree. I used cold water regularly on a daily basis only because I am used to drinking cold water so I was left to the quickest choice. From now on hot water will be an option now :smug: it certainly has like a sauna feeling, kinda relieving to the lungs if you ask me.

i also gave this a try with my LSV using the WPA to connect to a regular sized bong.
I used hot water but not boiling. Using hot water makes the entire process very smooth.
You can inhale insanely huge clouds without any problems.
While i did not notice any difference in the high itself the entire experience was nice.
Moisture is always good when vaping since it tends to make the air dry and this problem is solved by this method for sure. I had the feeling that creating huge clouds is easier with hot water since it will also pre-heat the entire bong and also the WPA.
I would not bet that it did anything efficiency wise but thats hard to guess.
Overall its a nice experience, i will try cold water today to test the difference.

Has anyone done this with a solo and a WT or F-Bomb? I usually put in very cold water into my WT, so I've never tried it with hot water, is the hit just smoother?

Vitolo turned me on to the hot water hits a while back. What I do is pop my little bubbler in the microwave for 15 secs. I have made the water too hot a few times and it can be unpleasant so be careful.

I cannot speak to this with a vape as I am waiting on my first to arrive (EVO can't come soon enough), but my friends and I used to do this with a bong regularly. Occasionally we would like to switch it up a touch and go for a cool feeling without losing the niceness of the hot water. To do so, a few drops of scope in the water moved it to menthol... some may enjoy...?

M00NEY,
it didn't work with hot water for me - that felt weird and no clouds...

but then i tried warm water and voilá nice thick hits, and LOTS of them :D

Sounds interesting, I've never thought about doing this. I think I'd rather use some spearmint tea! I may have to try that tonight.

Salutations,

IMO it's not the water that makes it work: try moisturized air, warm or semi-hot if you will...

It doesn't even require much at all.

:peace:

Okay guys I brewed some spearmint tea and filled my piece with a natural perc and it was great! The vapor was moist from the warm water yet cool from the mint, such a great combination.
I just started using warm water again and have been enjoying it, mainly since I picked up some new glass. I'm starting to prefer warm water and low diffusion to something with a lot of diffusion and low water volume like my frit which I haven't been frequenting as of late. I actually shot a video of this session but my stance looks so awkward and I had a blowback after the last hit so I'm not going to post it haha

Ive been suggesting warm water instead of ice water for years.

After all your lungs want warm moist air, not cold dry air...right?

Incredibly smoother ! It's the only way I vape period and with a ht(hydratube) and the solo it's the winning combination.
