Yes, this is something the GrassHopper folks should be mindful of. If it relies on any amount of conduction, not only is flavor going to be an issue when using a full load, but there will also be those who will be disappointed with vapor production when using small loads — see: the Ascent thread. And, I imagine it would not be as easy to Jerry-rig together as effective a spacer as the glass flowers were over there, given the shape of the bowl here.
I particularly wanted to quote your post and chime in because I saw @Zenpen didn't 'like' your post and then 'liked' Fenton's post questioning you about it... It really all comes down to the most hard to believe claim: that it is truly a pure convection vaporizer, having such a small size.
And, just for the record, .5 grams sounds like a lot to me. My usual loads are between .07 and .2 grams. My video in my sig is one example of how far a small load can take you when using pure convection. (Click here to go straight to that part of the video.)

Yep, about 10 second heat up time for that setting. Would love to see it set to the lowest setting and see how fast it would take to heat. At 80%, the heat up time (earlier usage vid) was closer to 30 seconds, so maybe it was in the middle range this time.
I also see a few dark specs in the AVB, I think they should spread it out more next time.

is it just me...or does it require a lot of sucking power to inhale a very small amount of vapor?... The old video they inhale for about 30-40 seconds. Nothing like an oil e-cig that you can inhale like a cig/joint.
The new video it seems you still have to inhale quiet a bit to get very little vapor.
is it just me or is anyone else seeing this as well?
also can anyone compare this to the pax? Do you have to suck a lot from the pax to get similar vapor as in the second video?
one more thing, if I have it set to a lower temp do I get more draws from the bud? as appose to the highest temp that may be less draws?

There is no loose leaf vape that I know of that would perform like an ecig. Just because the GH is the form factor of an ecig, if you expect it to perform like one, you may be in for a disappointment. Herb vapes, especially convection ones require much more controlled drawing than ecigs or joints, and this would be true for all vapes IMO.

The newest use video also has me questioning the power on and off clicker....how many clicks is it rated for before it breaks?
If you pay close attention to the end of his session, he clicks it off, but it has trouble turning off because the leds are still lit blue and he has to pull on the clicky power button to turn it off.....
is this going to be an issue or just a prototype issue?

i'm with you here, grokit. it's a huge amount of time of drawing for getting such thin clouds. i'm not a cloud chaser by all means, but the mflb is disrespected by many for not being able to produce clouds, while her cloud production is definitelly more visible in a significantly shorter amount of time. the temperature setting in the vid is to be considered, too, i guess. the abv looked even, but it was a very light brown for more than a minute of hard lung work

vapemon wasn't it said somewhere that it has a lifetime warranty? I would not worry about the clicker, the build on it seems like one of those expensive well built pens I see at stores like staples going for 50+ dollars, thats just a guess though, most have good life.
Also I saw the photos on th page, I can get this in different colors to? That would be neat.

the new vid looks like you get the exact same performance as a MFLB. Not sure about everyone else but my mini clouds come out looking just like that and Im using about that much effort. I definitely like the look of this vape MUCH better however. Im in.

Thank you for pointing this out @grokit. I was hesitant to mention it because I'm new here and don't want to bother the Zenpen guys when they must be taxed for time as is. I would like to ask whether we will get to see anymore new videos before the gogo kick off this Saturday?
To be candid, I was really hoping for Solo-like performance. Solo performance in the grazenhopen form factor would be a market first but this video shows something more like a mflb in pen form.
