@ataxian Ehi man i have a question for you.

I have used Honeycomb glass screen for two weeks. after using it so much I decided to clean it with alcohol ISO, but as you see in the picture is still dirty. Your Honeycomb glass screens have become equal after using them?!

In this photo I used the one on the left, the other is still like new.
It is normal for you?

I'm the worst person to ask actually.
I need to order another batch of Honeycomb screens.
Since I quit saving my ABV I blow my stems to clear them.
In the process I lose screens.

You just made me realize that I need to order more and be a bit more careful not to lose them!
Currently I have been using the SS screens.
The honeycombs clean up real nice if you don't lose them.

I've been using them too, but haven't cleaned them yet. Looks like they get stained permanently. Maybe because the glass is not polished. I wouldn't worry about not being clean after an ISO wash ...just stained.

Always had this problem!

I bake my gluten free Bread, Pizza Crust, Brownies, Cookies, Cakes, Pastries and invent new stuff as well. Take any formula you like and convert it to be GF & Dairy Free.
Whole foods for flour.
Fresh and Easy for a few things.
Costco (hand pick stuff) Read the labels!
Living outside the USA for 9 years helped me learn different ingredients.
5 years in FRANCE, 2 1/2 years in South America, 1 1/2 years in Central America.

I vacuum Purge my Shatter. (It's faster and easier)
The dispensaries bills were more than my house payment so I legally grow now.
My setup was expensive however in the long run my medicine will be free in a few months once I recovery my set up cost. You can buy seeds on line.




The GonG is the HOLY GRAIL = Get creative!
I bring this set up to my mouth without hunching over!

Awesome!!!! I'm a lousy cook and looking for edie baked goods or GF for the bread machine. What is your favorite wheat floir replacement? Plz ppl m me if ya got recipes for making GF DF sugar free edibles! I can use coconut oil... but no four or sugar. So i have no edibles. (((( I am lucky to have a variety of whole food stores in the area.

You makes it liVing overseas. I came back from 8 yrs in Germany and could smell the chemicals in the food here. I'd try fat good and taste only chemicals and grease. It seems anything non organic or our packaged stinks. .. even frozen veggies or the tasteless non-organic things that look like melons or strawberries but.... ick Many other life changes from EU like using and needing less stuff I'm general. LoL

The same goes for buds. Those exrtra chemical nutes for bigger denser buds smell a bit off to me. Then there s the #1 mj pesticides, avid and floramite. If the nuts aren't labeled as organic, chances are these were used. They are sold illegally under the counter here. You need a respirator to safety use these! Hell I taste fish oil on my buds if sprayed within 7 days of harvest. Lol!! If you are going all healthy and using a Solo, might as well look at what ya put in it!

I like your vacuum set up. But how exactly is shatter made? Can i mske it st home? I have 8oz of buds Ty o play with that are a year old. Lol

I legally have a permit for 100 plants but 8 outdoor monsters do new good. Enclosed garden is completely screened in. When I order my thrip greenhouse screen, then only mites csn get through. Seeds online (though I have a huge supply of Girl scout cooky x GDP that I call Hill Top Cookies) and hight CBD clones locally. I too would go broke if buying from the dispensaries. )

Lol TY! Hey we are all being healthy by vaporizing. .. why not use organic weed? The beauty of vaping besides old stuff snd trim even works is that you can also leave the cat hair that gets stuck in the buds I'm the vape. You can even vape bugs and other harmless particles like dirt or cotton and not taste them. Lol!!!!! Look at finger hash. Who wants to smoke dead skin? Vape... not so gross. LMAO!!

You would be better off with a GonG Solo stem that connects directly to your glass. This is the one I like the most.

I have a question. My gong piece is really stuck in my bubbler & doesn't wanna come out. Is there any special methods or tricks to get it out?


People are saying put it in the freezer but i am scared putting my bubbler in the freezer it might crack or break

Hey all, first time poster. Glad to be here -- everyone seems very informative and helpful.

I ordered the Solo yesterday and expect it to arrive later this week. After some research, the Solo seemed like the most reliable and most convenient vaporizer out there.

Err... to the questions...

1.) Do I need a screen, and if so, what type should I go for (glass or metal (or otherwise))?
2.) Any other necessary accessories? I've half-considered getting a car charger, and it's my understanding that another charger exists -- one that allows you to vaporizer while the unit is charging, something that the in-box charger prohibits (if my understanding is correct).

I can't think of any other pressing questions, but if one (or more) pop into my head, I'll be sure to post them.

Anything else I should know prior to receiving and using the Solo? I realize this thread is roughly 2 years old, so I'm sure there are a few quirks or procedures, here or there, that may be useful to be aware of.

I make everything myself basically.
Hydroponic is my preference because I control the grow.
To do it right it is expensive however worth it.
I oxygenate the water just under the root system.
Water Chiller and recirculating pump are a must to keep the dissolved oxygen (DO) levels correct.
65f sounds low for the water reservoir however its easier to prevent root rot!
Soil is easier for sure.
I have 4 DUTCH CRUNCH in HYDRO.
In soil I have 2 girls = Girl scout Cookies and a GDP.
These are my preferred strains.
Dutch Treat crossed with HAZE = DUTCH CRUNCH (love this combo)
I make my own SHATTER.
It's so good (my wax) I forget to vaporize flowers.
I love flowers so I make sure I vape them daily.
However waxes well purged are very special!
My SHATTER is so pure I vaped it all day today.
Now this is a SOLO tread so I will say this:
The SOLO is simple and it works.
My time is limited so I can vaporizer my flowers fast without sacrificing flavor.
Now I have some other vaporizers (plug in) that I love however only when I have the time.
Plus I have a new power house vaporizer I plan to vape some serious colas!
Now SHATTER I have devices that are fast and get the job done.

The SOLO I will always have on hand.
I know it's simple however my grows get complicated sometimes I need simple and easy.

The SOLO is the no brainer FLOWER device!

Can you run a whip bewen the two? If I put these on my water pipe it is small and would fall over and break. Thus why this tiny MFLB attachment is so appealing. .. less glasd to break. In my head, I cou ld set the solo on my lap or nightstand and pick up only my waterpipe connected ny whip. Still a high chance of breaking shit.

Sorry, but the cool setups you guys have would not last a night. I'm just looking for another way!

You soaked that in ISO for a long time and it came out like that??

@Snappo I'm surprised you haven't had to clean any yet.
I ordered some through the link you sent me.
For some reason I imagined these screens staying relatively clean.
Do they affect the taste when they get dirty?
I purchased them to help maintain more of an even roast (better taste).

I let my friend try out my Solo the other night with the stock stem.... first try he got a way huger hit than I've ever seen come out of a Solo... and his second try too even

Half a year of owning this thing and I still don't have it down!

Holy crap! TY for letting me know! I'm glass my computer is broken and I only have the tiny phone for more. Hard to believe 420 mag would let something like this happen.

I've been growing since I got my card. Sorry... all outside dirt for me. I can go on vacation for two weeks and come home to thriving plants. My unique watering system waters each plant only when abd as much as I need, even seedlings inside or out in 4" pots. )

My Girl Scout Cookie got preggers off a hermie GDP bud last grow (the only culprit I found) and I have tons of seeds. The two I grew have some of the most dense dank outdoor buds ever and I got two ounces of top quality shake to play with since I trim close. The shake is mind numbing in the volcano! Lol Now how to best use it...

Does any Solo user lurking like bubble hash in their solo???? I hear about buds, wax, shatter. What about hash or keif? Is the hash too dense to work or OK?

How do you make shatter? Does the set up cost a lot? All my bUds and shake are destined for bubble hash unless I hear of something better or tastier than wax. I dearly hope wax in my solo changes my mind about the flavor... I though about using hexane to make wax, which is used to make some nut milks and foid pruducts. Run it through a bho tube and heat it off. Still a chemical. Bummer 420 has instructions but I'm too chicken to open. Not sure what hexanr hash is called lol

I'm ordering mine tonight and gave a lot of thought to chargers and extras. Someone here have great advice and said to just wait on those Extras. PV doesn't have glass screens, so I am ordering metal ones.

I don't know about the car charger, but the one that comes with it is only for charging and from what I understand must be unplugged when it is done it out will cook your battery. I will never remember to do this.... So I've decided to buy the pv power adaptor (half price with solo) and use my solo like this. I seldom need it portable and can it for those times. It's in sale if I buy it now ot I'd wait and buy one later!

If you want a cool car charger/car power adapter / home power adapter / home charger, you should check out Pipes All In One unit. The stand is uber cool as well.

No charger will allow you to vape while charging. The voltage needed for each operation is different (it's in the bottom of the unit).

You can leave it plugged in when it's finished charging, it won't kill your battery.

Thank! I thought about these but can't tHink of any reason I'd need a car adapter. I'm just going wIth the PA because it's only $20 and I won't even need my battery much. Even with pipe's gadget, I'd still forget and leave it charging and fry it.

Ok guys.... how about this adapter to hook My solo to my one surviving heavy glass bong? There is minimal glass to break and I can lay the solo on my pillow and hold the bong... then detach the whip before it goes near my nightstand. Would this work????

Everywhere I read it says not to leave the solo plugged in 24/7. It would shorten the battery life and eventually fry it. I'd only be unplugging it to use it....

You can leave it plugged in when it's finished charging, it won't kill your battery.

There are a few options for vaping while charging ... the pipes pa and PV pa are a couple or you can just buy the correct charger on amazon I think

There is no option for vaping WHILE charging. It's one or the other.
