I been lurking the forums for a few years now. I used to have an account here before but I forgot my username. Anyways, I am thinking of getting a Pinnacle Pro because I am so fed up smoking all the time. Just a few questions really. How does this device handle the following substances?

What is the best website for me to purchase one of these items ? I understand there is a black friday sale coming up. To be honest, my choices for what vape to purchase next are arizer solo or ascent. PAX is out of the question because a friend of mine just bought one and i have been using his for a bit. Impressed with that, but if i were to read these forums, it looks Pinnacle Pro looks better overall.

Speaking from my history you will NOT be dissapointed in the SOLO. I will tell you that after seeing a few very trusted members speak highly of the pinnacle it made me decide to sell the SOLO for a pinnacle.
If your more of a concentrate user though it seems the pinnacle is a better choice than the solo.

@TherealVaporblunt, before you post the details of your bf sale,
I would recommend that you put a link to your online store in your sig.
You can limit that effect by turning the pnp off after the first hit or two,
then draw a hit or two while it's cooling down.

I appreciate your honesty. As I stated before, i been lurking these forums for a while now and I know or at least sense the more trusted members. I thought about going with the SOLO but I don't like the glass tube. Question, why did the original Pinnacle get so much bad reviews? I understand that the PRO (this one) is much better overall. Sometimes when i read reviews from other websites, a lot of people are somewhat biased towards this product due the previous version but this particular product seems like the "under dog" when it comes to portable vapes which is why I am leaning towards this unit. It's getting a heck of whole lot good reviews.
Since this question gets asked a lot, I will answer what you need from any charger rather than answer 10,000 similar questions
As long as your charger has an output of 5V and at least 3A of current, you will be fine.

No need to stir. The only time I counted I got 42 hits on level 2 with a pretty solid pack. It has an auto shut off after 8 minutes so I would say the 42 hits took me about 25 minutes.

I have a pinnacle hydrotube question and hope it is ok to ask here. I bought the tube for $50 during the recent sale from their ebay seller. It seems that the water does not all drain from the top chamber into the water chamber, almost like the holes are too small at the bottom. I was at my buddies earlier today and his didnt have any water on top (it splashes your face a lot). Has anyone else had this issue or know of a fix? I have tried cleaning it with alcohol and using distilled water but no luck.

i wish i could answer you with confidence but i posted my first time experience with wax in the FMJ a few pages back i will say, unless my technique was flawed (which i will fully admit it might be) i was not pleased with the way my pong got so messed up using wax in the FMJ. my pong is so messed up i have to buy a new one and that was with only ONE use of wax in the FMJ. the outer ring of what hold the screen in is degraded and not smooth anymore. it feels like it melted some but i am not going to say that is for sure what happened. i cleaned away all the wax residue the best i could using 70% iso on a q-tip and the surface feel rough and not smooth anymore. looking at it closely it looks likes its "breaking down" i am not sure what exactly or how to describe it but i know until i read something that makes me go "ah ha" i will not be using wax in the FMJ again

M, I think maybe you got an old pong, bunch a pages back there is is side by side of new and old. Your looking for a thick wall just like the MP. They'll send you the right one. I haven't been using it as much but so far so good on the new thick walled one.

its a thick walled one. i bought my unit used from @VaPeD&CoNfUsEd and he gave me extra pongs and i compared the thickness of them all 2 were old OG pinnacle pongs and i gifted them to a friend who needed them. the other two were thick walled ones and one of those two were the one i used and is messed up. i still have one more thick walled one but have decided not to use it for anything other than herbs

Oh shit. So even the newest ones are doing it. That sucks.
I actually got lucky and happened to fo in a store and buy the last one. I've had the pro since beginning of october. I'll share my experience so far.
I vape mostly on 2 or the 390 setting. More than enough for one. Different flowers poduce different clouds. I suggest packing whatever you plan to smoke straight through. I deliver pizza and I put a little in each bullet (I have 6) and then I wrap foil over tge top and put them in a little container. I would imagine I put .1 or so in. Less than halfway full.
That will last me through the 8 minute timer. That seems to work better than packing it full and having multiple sessions.
If I am with others I will pack it full light tamp, and turn it on 3 with the water tube. I also turn it up a level to make sure I get it all.

My usual preference is at 1 for an 8min cycle then at 3 for an 8min cycle or same routine with 2 and 4.
I've just started finishing it at 5 lately. This is with water but is tolerable dry too.
