So the bubbling is forced to start from the bottom range of the matrix then the more you pull on it, the more it fires in the up range ? Sounds awesome. Keep one with a fat non flared mouth for me :)

@redglassgallery have you made any beaker tubes with a dewar joint? opinions, good/bad?
a lot of my friends have broken joints on their beakers (various brands) and i always wondered if a recessed joint would help

we did make a custom tube for a shop in colorado but it didn't look right
it was a 9mm beaker w/ a dewar joint
we were going for that HVY mini beaker look where they use a grinder to drill their own joint fitting ( we can't do that ) so we tried another approach.

another way is just go fixed stem which we used to offer about 2 years ago

Jhan's youtube channel is probably where you'll find all his videos but I could be mistaken and he may have some more. There's a couple of very short glass blowing videos that are less than a minute and one more that is just under three minutes long, nothing with the full process though.

With that particular stem it moves around, however with a glass stem and two grommets i can mate a solo securely with the joint. ill throw up some pic's of that in the future

Jhan, I am very impressed with your glass work, especially after you look at the price tag!

I'm in the market for a new glass piece and would love some advice.

I recently acquired a ThermoVape Cera, and am looking for a nice glass piece to pair with it. I will be using the Cera to vape both flowers and waxes/shatters. I am completely new to the world of quality glass pieces, so I'm a little bit overwhelmed with all the perc/diffuser choices out there.

I'm looking for a smaller sized piece, one that could easily be put on a table or TV tray. I wish to maintain as much flavor as possible. I will mainly be vaporizing flowers and concentrates through it, but I might combust on the rare occasion if friends are over, etc. Combustion will likely account for less then 5% of the usage though, so don't let it factor in too heavily.

From what I've read (and I could easily be wrong!) is that to maintain the best flavor, you want a smaller volume and less diffusion...is that correct?

So far, I've narrowed my choices down to:

65mm Matrix

12 Arm Dewar Bubbler

Circ UFO Side Car Bubbler

I like the look and size of the 12-arm dewar the best, I like that short, squatty look. The Matrix is also appealing to me aesthetically as well. I don't like the side car look that much though, but if it would fit my needs best, I'd definitely consider it.

So what are people's opinions on which piece would be the best for my needs? Is the Matrix too much diffusion for a vaporizer, losing that amazing flavor? Would something else fit my needs better? Hopefully I haven't left out any info that might be necessary for a recommendation.

Any and all opinions are appreciated, thanks!

Does anyone yet have this new matrix piece. I have been hunting for a mobius matrix can but this may be a good alternative. I would love to see a video if possible of it being used, even if its a dry run

What a bout a recycler, there super popular, and supposedly keep a lot of the flavor due to the design and vapor/smoke traveling with water until the vapor /smoke separates near your mouth, and water drops back down to be recycled and reused hence the name recycler.

Some are Pricey , some are affordable.
