has anyone noticed that if you take your finger off the button after about 5-6 seconds, it stays on for the full 10 second cycle? I have noticed that quite a bit lately if I am trying to take smaller hits. Shorter button presses are fine, but anything over 5 or 6 (nonscientifically measured) will stay on till the cutoff.
This occasionally happens to me, when the button gets stuck down. Have you tried fiddling around with the button to loosen it up while it's stuck on? That sometimes fixes it for me. This happens way less that 1/10 of the time for me though, so I don't mind too much.

Hi Dabblers, I get my own 2 days ago, building quality seems better than my Bholt, it produces large milky clouds, I get less hits but biggers than with my bholt with the same load, the taste is a little bit better for the moment....
I can use it with my bholt battery (which is nice with the counterweight), I just tried small dabs because my last oil is very liquid and I'm afraid that oil drip down before be vaped...

The only cons that I can see for the moment is the very restrictive mp, I'm thinking that it could be clogged quickly, isn't it?

I just wanted to add afew things. I was comparing the Kiss cart to dabbler with the glass wick not the ceramic one. I don't have a ceramic dabbler one yet so I can't compare the 2. the The reason that Kiss cart doesn't have a nickel form/SS mesh is because they don't want any unsafe metal next to the core. The Kiss cart yellow ceramic is a natural medical grade material. If you see a white ceramic its been chemically treat.

@ArchVape Are you a vapor pen manufacturer acting here undercover? At times your info shows you have a good background, although "white ceramic been chemically treat" makes no sense by my experience, and nickel or stainless mesh is not unsafe when barely heated as it is next to the core. Not to knock your other posts- as I look through, you've been supportive & helpful. Just want to be more transparent here.

I agree that those materials are probably safe since they are off to the side and barely heated, but if theres a potential hazard, why introduce them at all? And thats w9s philosophy...

I think thats what archvape was trying to get at when he made the comment about the Kiss cart.

Still love my dabbler, its my go to concert/venue piece.

On another note, is there any recommendation on storing the battery part regarding temperature...i left my first battery in the car one day for a few hours when it was really hot(i believe) and when i came back it would light up but not heat my cartridge...im not saying the heat was the issue, but i just dont wanna leave it in my car and have an issue when i get back since its getting really cold now...

It seems so, although this is 'new found religion' I think? Not that there's anything wrong with it, of course, but Omicron carts are hardly a good example of this?

I'm of a mind to consider any reasonable safety concern, but to determine the real risks. Ethanol is poison under some conditions, but it's sure a welcome part of Single Malt Scotch and craft beers. I for instance, see no threat to the "chemically treat(ed)" ceramic nor cold metals we customarily used.

It can be a tough call, you don't want to take risks not necessary, but also don't want to have decisions driven by fears of ghosts. In the end it's a personal call, best done in an informed manner?

Dihydrogen monoxide could kill you if ingested in enough quantity... if you want to get that literal about it anyway. That being said I prefer to put ethanol in my car, not my body. Hangovers are a bitch.

Vaping is a way of life!
There has been an uprise in shill action , beware.

The ignore button has seen better days.

My buddy's not a member yet but he received his order 1 day sooner than expected, on his behalf He would like to thank you!!! @VaporWarehouse & @vaporbrothers for a stealth product that performs as well!
Now I gotta get over to his place, to test out some of this banana kush shatter, and some Perris OG Shatter !!!!!
I think he mentioned he got his PNWT to match up with the VB dabbler !!!

Edit
All this talk has me thinking why all the changes all of a sudden, the shills follow the threads and report back to base. uuggghhh:ugh:
In the long run, facts and good information come to light, so thats a good thing:shrug:
Thank god this market is big enough for every one, and big enough to have multiple options to choose from, choose wisely.

Going to go get Vaked now!

that nickel or stainless could be any concern is baffling. of all the metals, they're among the best, handling 1000°F or more without problem. i can try to measure the exact mesh temperature, but i really think it will be hard to get the area above 200°F, and this feels ridiculous. i'd be interested to know a safer material to grip the bowl in place. most pens just use glue in there.

yellow material indicating it's medical grade is stunningly weird as well. or maybe i have something new to learn here (?). not that yellow ceramic is bad in any way, but i always found the easiest judge of purity is by whiteness, such as the totally white medical grade ceramics at this major supplier.

about the battery- 86°F is considered stressful for most lithium batteries, wearing them out more quickly. the damage deepens with a full charge, oddly. i'm hope it was the battery protection circuit that kicked in for your battery but need to ask the manufacturer about it. did your battery come back once it cooled? i'll check back once i learn more.

thank you ~LV

Sorry for my bad post about medic grade ceramic. It was a mistake on my part not to include the full story behind it. I talk to Thcscientific over the phone about the KISS cart, dabbler and eCig RBAs. He told me the Kiss carts ceramic wicks is medical grade and told me the name. I wanted to post back to FC on the info but like a dumbass I am. I was in a hurry and reply with shady half ass misinfo statments.

No I don't work for a vapor company or ecig.

Oh ok thank you @ArchVape for letting me know. Thcscientific is a whirlwind of innovation stuck on full throttle all the time. Look to them for some really interesting new ideas coming up.
I don't try to be an expert in vapor pens just yet. More like a curator with a background in materials and a unique set of requirements to fill. We just want to fine tune a really strong hit that tastes soo good and doesn't poison anybody. And lasts long. And has a failure rate low enough to back with our own warranty. And costs under $99. And I like the new straight globe.
Vape-Pen Inc supplies Dabbler parts- although dealing with our requirements has him stretched to the limit. It doesn't matter to me that we be widely recognized for being a leader or anything in the vape pen field, although we really appreciate that High Times Magazine just awarded Dabbler their #1 spot! The November issue's "Best Standard Pen" for 2013.
Moving on, we're excited to ship out our first VB2 wax converter, an obliteration device for converting your day into outer space. Fit for the pros. ;)

Yeah I completely agree with you, especially regarding SS which is found in many of the vaporizers out there including W9s...im not too farmiliar with Nickel though but ill take your word for it... I never said anything about the yellow ceramic, but i agree on that point as well. I was just trying to state what archvape was getting at regarding his comments about omicron/persei/w9

As for the battery, no It did not work after it cooled down, this was months ago and i already got it replace though.. But what happened was, i was using the dabbler, then I loaded it back up and stored it in my glove box. Forgot about it for a few hours and came back, hit the button and it lit up but the cart would not heat. I brought it inside and tried it again a few hours later and same thing. Recharged the battery and it still didnt work. I had a spare cartridge so i tried switching the cartridges and that did not solve the problem either. Got the battery replaced and the two cartridges worked fine with the new battery...

@vaporbrothers or @VaporWarehouse could i get a side by side pic of the wicked heater vs the ceramic rod heater. I want to see how much lower the rod is ont he ceramic one. Im trying to decide between that or the new globe heater. Leaningt owards the globe right now

Thanks for the pic! Ahhh okay, That makes my decision easier since i would want black. For the globes, its saying backordered...havent tried checking out yet though...are they sold out now or is there still some available for shipping?

And any idea when you expect more of either in stock. @VaporWarehouse

I'm not really happy about my Dabbler taste, I wrote before that it taste better than my Bholt but it's not true, now i'm thinking the opposite.
The dabbler produces milkier hits, but less hits than my bholt.
And after a whole charge the 650mah battery of the Dabbler got the same longlife time than the 350mah bohlt battery!
lot of oil is not vaped but drip down in the cup and this one is too large and oil all around is not heated enough to be vaped, in the little cup of the bholt the oil on the wall and down of the cup is fully vaped after several hits, i think that the globe option of VB looks like a bholt atty(except GonG).

I hope the taste will be better after cleaning and that battery longlife will be better after several charges....

So unfortunately I don't have access to high quality BHO so I have to use my own homemade QWISO. I've been working on my tech but my stuff seems to leave quite a bit of carbon buildup on the wick and coil. I've tried the iso soak and it cleans it up somewhat but does anyone have any tips on scraping the gunk off without hurting the coil? It takes forever for the coil to heat up this way and get a decent hit like when it was brand new. Any help is appreciated, thanks.

Your device might not be running correctly. I had an issue with mine running too hot (burning the oil, and using up my battery FAST) I would contact VaporWarehouse and explain the issue. The battery is covered with a 1 Yr warranty.

I'm waiting to hear from VB as to when they expect more from Vape-Pen. At this time of year I don't want to take a bunch of orders that I can't fill for an extended period. Customers have less patience around the holidaze.

As soon as I have an answer I will update you here. If you don't mind waiting and want to purchase one give me a call and I can bypass the order status.

ok, my tube arrived... It is very substantial and feels much heavier and less likely to break when compared to the other globe i have tried. It hits like a truck, just like the standard heater and the flavor explosion that i love so much about this thing is unchanged also. Going do some more 'testing' now...

Yes! The rubber taste disappeared after several loads and yes, this pen hits like a truck, the battery longlife seems a little bit better now!

I received the DrDabber too (just the heater and mp, I use it with my Bholt's battery) it's similar than the Dabbler but building quality seems a little bit cheaper, I don't use it enough but it performs like the Dabbler in my opinion...
