Wow this thing is good. I think the draw resistance is perfect if you slightly lift the stem off the bottom. I was worried about that, but its perfect for me. I dont want it any looser or tighter.
Shhh.....We dont want to hear anything from you, the only thing we care about is the challenge. WE NEED RESULTS LOL. Finish that eigth yet?

P.S. an eigth usually lasts me about a month

ITs crazy how an eight lasts you a month. Those are gone in 3 days tops with me. BTW how do i use kief?

Definitely do not post them separately and try to edit them together, you can't make that work.

A good approach is to save replies until you have finished reading the thread. Just hit Reply for each post you want to answer, but keep reading. They will stack in your reply box and should stay there even if you change pages. When you're done reading, type your replies after each quote, but be careful not to post inside the QUOTE tags.

If you've saved a reply and then see another post you want to answer, use the Edit button on the bottom left of your post. Move the cursor to the end of your previous post, then hit Reply on the post you are answering. The post is inserted as a quote wherever the cursor is placed. Type after the quote. That's all there is to it.

TYTYTYTY! Pakololo. Well I'm giving it try now. Hopefully I understood correctly.
But aren't some of these compounds mostly found in the plant material, like CBD? If it's actually apart of the plant material then it won't get released unless you combust. I'm not sure myself but would like to learn more.

I can understand your concern, but they really do get vapoRized. Think of the smells and flavors from your pot. That resulting taste is those terpenes vaporizing. One cool chart has identified all the terpenes for every mj basic flavor. Ie cheese, blueberry, lemon, diesel.

MJ is the only plant with trichnomes, but any plant can be vaporized. I add a blend of Damiana, Dalmatian sage, passion flower, and eucalyptus in my vaporizer bowl with buds that make me cough. It is relaxing and helps me cough less. Almodt all the properties of mj can get vaporized, but I am sure not all. There are four basic elements that can activate the thc especially into what we need heat, combustion, C02, and solvents like alcohol, butane, glycerine. If you just are pot without heating (I think 220F to activate) or soaking in alcohol you will get no THC high from the plant. I know you still get other bebefits. It is a very complex plant!

Here is a link just about terpenes. The chart if all your mj smells and tastes are at the bottom:
http://berkeleypatientscare.com/2010/10/08/terpenes-terpenoids-and-cannabis/
I'm on 420 and they have info too. If you look at the complete cannabinoids temp chart (still have no link) and reach those temps listed, chances are that property is vaporized. :)
Here's a quote:

"Few vaporizer studies/reviews have really addressed the quality of the vapor extracted and delivered. Most studies/reviews have tended to focus on the mode of usage of the vaporizers and not the quality of the vapor extracted and delivered. When one considers that there are at least 60 pharmacologically-active compounds in cannabis and that the aromatic terpenoids begin to vaporize at 126 °C, but the more bio-active cannabidiol (CBD), Cannabinol (CBN), and delta-9-tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) do not vaporize until near their respective flash points: CBD 206.3 °C[6], CBN 212.7 °C[7], THC 149.3 °C[8] then it becomes apparent that the only way to get a full spectrum vapor inhalation is to extract and deliver rapidly from a small sample at a time. Because most commercial vaporizers are slow in extraction and delivery, the vapor inhaled is first aromatic, but only minimally active; and then as the apparent temperature rises, the vapor becomes increasingly bio-active, but minimally aromatic as most of the aromatics already released."

Thus I belive flavor loves enjoy their solid diets at lower temps? :)

The solo can be used to vaporize tobacco, medicinal herbs, and some pure extract oils. So can the volcano. Want your chicken to taste like basil with no basil? Load the chick into the bag, vape basil into it, seal and cook. Check out the herb mixes for sale on the Vapor Genie website. I have some for creating the lungs. it helps mixed in.

So just to be sure. .. there is no reason to order any other adapter than the one that came with it? I can leave it plugged in all the time I'm not using it? :-/

Hey folks. Just a quick random question. Out of the two pvhes gong stem sizes, 14 or 18, are there any preferences? Will I be able to stand the solo upright with both sizes? Or is the 14mm gong to weak. And is the diameter of the 18mm gong section wider than the part of the stem that inserts into the solo?

The bong I have is a stemless, 18mm. I plan to plug in the gong stem and invert the solo upside down to use it. I want to make sure the gong stems are strong enough to handle the weight of the solo. And I know it sound ridiculous, but I want a gong stem that has the same width all around. If the 18mm frosted glass section flairs wider than the bowl part, I'd rather get the 14mm, but it's hard to tell from pictures.

18mm GonG does flare out about 1/16" on each side. Its not that noticeable though IMO.

You will need to be careful either way if you have an angled stem on your water tool (as seen above in post#20492), it puts stress on the Heating element as well as the seal of the stem.

Awesome!! You found a short version the chart that isn't a few pages long! :))) The big dispensaries here are labeLing the percentage of THC, CBD, CBN, and sometimes ones high in specific other properties that help with different diseases. My article is on paper... O'Shaughnessy's. I wouldn't be surprised if strains are soon labeled by what they help. ;)

Thanks for the chart!

I hope your GLUTEN and DAIRY FREE.

If your that careful with cannabis how much more should you be about dietary intake?

My health is so perilous I'm mostly gluten, sugar, alcohol and dairy free. Pure torture until a cure is found. The herbs and supps i use cost as much a groceries each month. Homoepsthic docs and medicine are costly. I use only organic foods and cleaners in myself, house, and animals. I can frickin smell chemicals and molds... people's perfumes make me hurl. Walmart is intolerable. Lol Believe me after all these difficult changes, my docs and I would ditch my mefs if I'd live through it. Lots of kidney and liver detoxes help.

My mj is all organic and outdoor. An organic or chemical free way to make hashes (besides DI and bubble) would be a godsend! Any knows a way plz lmk.

I though all this was nonsense and way overkill until I has to make these changes. Otherwise I'd be content with just eating organic. :)

It is nice to find medical users here. There is a lot of misinfo out there to confuse medical users, but high CBD ratio strains are no joke.
I consider CANNABIS one of GOD's great Creation's!

Man in his self proclaiming wisdom has demonized it?

AMBIEN C, PROZAC, NEROTIN, VICODIN and many others have been replaced with MEDICAL CANNABIS.
Drug companies hate cannabis!

CBD is a great attribute.

CONCENTRATES are good for pain relief.
SHATTER high in CBD is worth exploring.

You are not alone.

Many of us have medical needs!

Thanks for pointing out the benefits of CBDs.

Hydroponic temperature control and very pure nutrients in RO H2O grow my flowers!
My SHATTER is made with COLAS. (The trim goes to the trash)
Growing correctly is both science and art!

My diet is pure:
No processed food
No Soft Drinks
No Junk Food
No Fast Food
No Gluten
No Dairy

It's cheaper to eat this way.
I cook and bake holistically!
Nutritional Chemistry is one of my many passions.
CANNABIS is an important part of good living!

P.S. an eighth usually lasts me about a month

You are joking?
Right?

More than 30 grams a month or 1 gram per day FLOWER.
SHATTER 4 grams per month.

I like to have at least 3 or 4 different strains to keep it interesting!
Ataxian have you thought about extracting some of the high CBD/low THC strains?

I think that SHATTER high in CBD would be nice!
It's in the line up!
THC (DELTA NINE) I like because it keeps me calm.
Sometimes I mix CANNABIS Strains high in both CBD's and THC.
Find your sweet spot!
