Discontinued Tvape Vaporizer

I don't own a Inhalater XP.
First difference is price and I personally feel you are getting what you pay for when you compare these two vapes.

The Inhalater's convection attributes allow you to easily pull vapor when you need.
The T-Vape's conduction attributes force you to wait for vapor to be formed before inhalation.

Now owning a T-Vape I know I will never get a Inh, they seem problematic at the moment, well ever since they went XP. I really wanted an Inh too, but with the Grasshopper and PnPro I don't see it worth 200+ dollars in joining a community of gripes and returns.

I feel like I load the smallest loads in the T-Vape out of everyone here. I think my bowls average .07 grams or below. These bowls will not give you the clouds you desire. But will give some nice vapor to milk my J-Hook.

I don't own a long tube so I can't comment on how much it holds, but I doubt you will need to put that much herb in it, the short I feel can hold an easy .2 grams.

I don't think there is a big difference of the oven, they say the long gets hotter, to me this doesn't sound possible as my short tube will have your herb dark brown under 6 minutes. If the long worked better than my short than I would be disappointed by the (long tube's) lack of hits and how quickly it vapes my herb.

I recommend getting a T-Vape from ebay (for the convenience and price not for the long tube factor) You can buy ovens separately here - http://www.squaresmoke.com/index.php/t-vape.html

I posted a couple videos on page 11 and Jam posted a couple videos on page 15

Thx for the reply. Would you say the tvape compares better to the pax? I can't belive ionly heard about this after I bought the inhalater. It's not so bad cuz I like the convection but this one is cheaper. How's the battery life? I think I'm gonna sell my pax and get this. Is there a gong attachment?

I would compare it more to the PAX, and would definitely suggest this over it considering the price difference.

I think the battery is pretty good in comparison to other vapes currently in the market. I know out of one full charge (charges under 2 hours) I can get at least 6 sessions.

I don't think you'd need a gong, unless you are pairing it to 18mm, the nipple fits 14mm with ease.

Nice. I guess my last question is would you recommend the long or short oven? I don't smoke cigarettes. Is the battery life on the long worse? How much more can it hold? Thx for the response

I can see clearly now the smoke is gone...
So, I took one of those flat cotton swabs and halved it. Soaked it in 99% alcohol, swabbed it in my oil so it could soak it up. After drying, I rolled it into a cylinder and put it it the Tvape. Made a great oil pen. :)

I've only done it once and my technique needs improving, but it might be worth your time to try it yourself.

Since this thing is back up to 125 bucks, would you users still say its worth it? Assuming a lot of you here got it at a 50ish dollar deal price?

For what it's worth the t-vape to me is more of a session vape like the solo, in the sense that you really just sip on it and increase the temp as the vapor runs out. The hits are nice and full (I haven't used any actual herb through it, just some Ethno's to clear out the chest) and was still pulling nice clouds.

So I mean if you're into sessions vapes I'd say sure it's a good option, if you're looking for a hit and go, I'd say look elsewhere.

The only thing i dont like about this unit is the battery life but you can use it while its charging. Its a well built unit which gets very nice results id be willing to cough up 125 for it.

Guys really really would appreciate some help from experts. I am a happy owner of Pax, MFLB, Pinnacle+WT and like them all for different reasons. I am looking to buy the T-Vape. My questions before I pull the trigger:

1. Main reason to buy is to have a "Travel Clean" vape. Please comment if this can be *completely* cleaned to new. This includes no smell, stains etc. on screen, MP and all over. None of my above vapes meet that std. Is there any vape out there that would neet this std I should also look into?

2. I would prefer the short over the long for stealth. Seems like Jamband is getting good results although Rude thinks long is better. Any more short-tubers happy with theirs?

3. Any deals on the short tube? The ebay $119s are long tubes, have not found short tubes on ebay.

thanks all pls help

IMO no. It cannot. Detectable levels are sure to linger in the inlet air passages which you can't access. Also be absorbed into the rubber of the MP (which of course you can dump and replace).

Closest vape I can think of is probably a VG coil or bat. They're up to boiling and serious solvent washes completely. Some might also include Cera in that for the same reasons although there are a few parts you can't boil (like the switch) and a nasty oil leak into the screw plate area could be hard to get completely clean.

Other options include abandoning the vape, many are low enough in cost to make this practical (like Ubie at under $15?).

It all depends on how bad they want you, of course, but IMO this guy will leave them with enough to work with. If the risk is really high, I suggest other options.

Well after a few months of use... I switched my charger (samsung) and used it in my tvape. Now my unit wont charge at all. So I guess im out of a kool vape now. Does anyone else have this issue? Or any suggestions on what I can do to get it to work again. I still have the original charger but that wont work either.

Try a different usb cable. I have used over 8 different chargers my favorite came with Chromecast. Try and see if it will work through a tv or computer. It has for me.
Does it even blink showing that it's trying?

The charger shouldn't break the unit sometimes they just stop working you should return for a replacement

Could just be a bad battery. They are replaceable.

My Charging plug went out after a few uses. Tried using my HTC charger and that only gave me a blinking light charge, no matter what USB cord I use. Never kept it on the charger more than a few minutes out of fear of damaging the unit, so I only use my computer to charge. Hopefully mine doesn't die on me as well

blueman1177,
Got a barely used T-Vape from a fantastic forum member and have mixed but overall positive feelings so far. I hope no one minds an unsolicited and short review.

Pros
-Ease of use
-Very decent vapor quality and taste
-Ecigarette-type appearance is great.
-Very large bowl, something I really appreciate in a portable.
-Vapor can be thick-ish. To be brutally frank it's not Arizer Solo caliber, and with great technique and good batteries you can get bigger draws off a MFLB, but this vapor density fine nonetheless.

Cons
-Battery is inconsistent. In a short time I've gotten 4 bowls on one charge, 2 on the next, then 6 on the next one. All were left on for 5+ hour periods and showed a green light.
-I wish the heat settings worked as originally advertised, that it held any temperature
-The Mouthpiece's propensity to come flying off that the slightest nudging is a real headache, that needs revision ASAP. Infuriating.
-Long tube has some dead spots as many have mentioned.
-Not quite as hot as I'd like, even with the button really juiced. Like a Solo on 5 in terms of heat production.
-Needs a better screen solution than the ceramic disc thing. I'm using the screen in the top, load through the bottom technique.

I will likely end up using this vape occasionally when I find the Solo to be too cumbersome and don't require the long battery life or easier big clouds.

That is actually how I use it as well, when something is required that is more discreet etc than the VB 2.0 I reach for the Tvape.

If you trim the outer tip down with a pair of scissors it will reduce the tendency of the nipple to fall out.

If you follow the technique mentioned previously you will get very good results from this unit.

Remove the ceramic screen from the nipple get a small screen the size of the smallest one that comes with the Da Vinci. If you look at the side where the nipple goes maybe a quarter inch down the bowl you will see a grove. Get the screen to sit into that grove on the nipple side. Now load the TVAPE from the side that connects to the battery and pack it down as tight as possible. Get the nipple back on the unit fire it up once its green hold down the button and put your lips over the nipple further than you probably would. Take a few draws and see the insane vapor production. I can 100% get solo style clouds doing this.

Hi folks, I normally vape with my Arizer Extreme Q but have been looking for a portable vape for about a year now. After reading all the posts here I pulled the trigger and ordered my TVape with the long barrel.

I am impressed with the high quality of construction and the fit and finish are first rate. Everything works exactly as advertised and it is very easy to use. Reading the instructions first is very important. I'm a bit underwelmed at the vaporization. The first hit is usually pretty good with a light cloud of vapor. The second draw was the vapor tickle in my throat, but no visible vapor. The third and fourth draws were pretty much no vapor at all. I have packed the chamber tight/loose/full/half full and two thirds full and pretty much have the same results. Also the taste of the rubber mouthpiece is rather unpleasant. So my thoughts are that this is a well constructed vape that will get the job done. It's not going to knock your socks off but it will get you high. I'm a home grower so my supply is pretty constant and waste is not a consideration. I would probably smoke the duff after vaping it if I was purchasing herb. It's easy to clean and load.On a scale of 1 to 10 I'd give this one a 10 in construction quality, an 8 in looks, and a 4.5 in vaping performance

Hi Llama, are you holding the button down for a good 10+ seconds after the initial warm up, before taking a hit? This one continues to ramp up the heat as you press the button, then backs off the heat once you either let go, or you see the quick green flash about 20 seconds into holding the button. You just simply release and press again to continue heating as desired. Its a manual driver with an auto preheat. Also, we found that if you rub the mouthpiece with coconut oil, then clean it off with a dry paper towel, it helps reduce the rubber taste.

Just got a tvape long tube blue. Wow! All I can say is that it does truly vaporize. I find that it burns through the herb faster than my mflb but it gives you good rips. Also it's not all that stealthy lol kinda looks like a big di**o but over all I think it's worth every penny. The cleaning is a no brainier and there aren't a lot of little delicate parts that require tiptoeing around. That just my opinion. Thumbs up guys good work on this unit.

Thanks for the reply. Yes, I have held the button down, and I do understand the heating process. I still get the same results. I have tried a few other portable vapes and I don't think any of them give me truly satisfying rips. Now this is not a slam on the TVape because I think this is a very good unit and it's as good as any others I've tried. My problem is that I normally use an arizer q with a bag. I try not to compare them as they are completely different types of vaporizers but you know how that goes. I wanted the portable vape for travelling as the q is too bulky and the TVape fits that requirement nicely. Thanks for the tip on the coconut oil. I read that somewhere else and forgot about it.
