The Dr Dabber Pen

So this vape is designed to load a dab at a time? Something like .05g? Can you load even less than that and get good performance? How many hits are you guys getting from one load? I'm curious about this vaporizer because I've tried dabbing and it too intense for me. But, if I could cut it down into multiple hits and space them out, it could be a way for me to still enjoy concentrates despite my low tolerance.
I use really small amounts with my DD all the time. Concentrates aren't really available here so I only have what I can make, which is very costly. So I tend to use really small amounts... I don't know... like the tip of a ball point pen? I regularly load 'dabs' this size and smaller with great success.

I find the flavor is immaculate and you never have to deal with overly hot hits since you only need very little power to vape the tiny dab. I like fat dabs as much as the next guy/gal... but tiny dabs work wonders in the Dr. Dabber.

The 'overall best way' is still USPS/CanPost because even though it takes a tiny bit longer.... you don't get butt raped with over-charged 'brokerage' fees.

Sorry to hear of your experience nepalibaba :( Shit CAN & DOES happen occasionally. I find and count on most parcel sent product ordered from the USA to usually takes anywhere from 2-6 weeks (the latter if customs decides to sit on it for whatever reason -be it improper declaration of goods, questionable/suspect name or descriptions, or health claims being made in the documentation, or flagged vendors names- which adds to the majority of the delays).

Are you sure it was actually 'cleared' by customs ? or released by them for 'return to vendor' for some discrepancy ? As I said, shit does happen unfortunately... about as often as when an item sails right through and is in your hands in under a week with our available shoot n miss choice to avoid 'brokerage fees' other carriers charge.

Hope it gets all sorted for you in the end & your able to relax & enjoy your new toy ;)

There shouldn't be brokerage fees for an item under $200: http://www.ups.com/content/us/en/shipping/cost/zones/customs/fees.html

I called Canada post just yesterday and they told me it cleared customs without any charges applied... Their website is still listing it as "Expected delivery 31/10/13". I just called them and they confirmed that it cleared customs with no charges, and was out for delivery, but probably wasn't delivered because the label with the address on it fell off. They blamed it on USPS not having good labeling and the person that worked there not actually rewriting the label. Thus they didn't know where to send it, and they returned to sender. They didn't have a note anywhere about returning to sender... Canada post does this kind of stuff quite frequently - just the other day they lost my friend's student loan check for $8000. Frustrating system which needs an overhaul, coming from Hong Kong I don't understand how they can be so disorganized with a relatively low amount of mail.

Thanks! I hope so too!

Purchased this one before my east coast trip a couple of weeks ago, and it performed well. However, I'm wondering how much I can actually load into this thing if I don't want to have to deal with loading after every hit. It would be nice to put enough concentrate in here so that I can do this, but I'm not sure if I'm asking this device to do something it's not intended for. If this is the case, can someone steer me in the right direction?
I feel your pain. It seems to me that a shatter with this kind of heater is about as easy as it gets unless you start fucking with tinctures and co2 oils. And co2 tastes like shit for the most part.
Crumble and waxes work good but a high quality shatter is better. With either you are fucking with it a little every couple hits with a toothpick to keep it on the wick.
I actually think a taffy might be best for on the go. A little less sticky and easier to break off. But don't see so much compared to wax or shatter

Pro tip - to those who were having problems with it falling out of your pockets....carry it INSIDE of the little foam packaging they sent it to you in. It also always keeps it upright so its never upside down. Do that all the time for peace of mind.

LOVE my DD by the way, use it daily even at work and no one has ever noticed anything. Great stealth use.

By the way...is there a coupon for FC members on atomizers yet? I thought there was but can't look through 23 pages to find out lol.

The wax was easiest, until now - my shop had some blue dream ear wax that's closer to a shatter, and it seems to be the perfect consistency! Easy to break off chunks, easy to stick on the heater...I'm a happy man.

I feel the need to add how durable this thing is - I've been beating it up daily with 8+ dabs, and I'm still on my first atomizer. Haven't cleaned the atomizer at all since I started using it nearly three weeks ago, and although it's obviously not pretty to look at due to buildup, there is no change in performance.

Really impressed that this is all from a $75 bundle. The battery life is also amazing!!

Hey guys, quick question and forgive my ignorance. My DD USB charger just died, and I was wondering how commonplace chargers of this type might be for this pen? Would it potentially be something I could get a replacement for at a tobacco/e-cig brick and mortar? Thanks much in advance! And just wanted to add, I have been loving my DD!

I really appreciate the prompt reply! I will contact via the site now. Would still love to know how common the chargers might be, just to satisfy my silly ignorance :) Thanks again!

I saw them at my local headshop that mostly carries china glass for ~$5, anywhere that carries e-cigs should have them.

Hello I recently purchased the full prescription and I tried contacting via the website, I had a few questions on my warranty- my glass dome broke after only a few uses :/ and just simple maintenance. I Also received an extra heating element that is not working :/ really love the pen, great investment! thank you in advance :)

I just received my Dr. Dabber and Globe attachment and although I haven't tried it out yet, it looks awesome. I just had a couple questions:

1. With my old pen I used to use VG e-liquid drops with my BHO because I liked the way it made the hits smoother, milkier, and some flavors complemented the BHO very nicely, like vanilla, pineapple, and such. Can I do the same thing with my Dr. Dabber Ghost? And what about the globe attachment, will a couple drops of VG work in there too?

2. My globe attachment came with a broken O-ring. I'm assuming it's a fairly cheap and replaceable part, could someone shed some light on what type/size it might be?

Thanks!

The other day, the Dr. said this...

I can't touch on number one, as I haven't tried this. I would offhandedly say not to try it though as I know Glycerin can produce some nasties at really high temps, and the coil can get hot kind of quickly! Though I could be wrong, I'd err on the side of caution for now...at least until others chime in!

For number two, I can say that if you were thinking of ordering any accessories, the Doctor would probably send you a replacement ring or two as well...otherwise I'm sure someone with an O-Ring will chime in soon!

I'd be happy to replace the globe for you or send an extra o ring. I also don't really know enough about the e-liquids too answer.

Is there any way I can get a replacement dome because it literally just broke apart when putting it on the attachment. Is there any way to clean the heating element?
