The Cloud can take up to 30 min to reach proper temp. Specific heat up times tend to vary greatly from one Cloud to the next. So yours may just need to sit a bit longer before it's ready. Unfortunately, the green light doesn't necessarily signify readiness.

So, while you're waiting for the Cloud to actually stabilize temperature-wise (set it to somewhere around the neutral 12pm noon mark to get an idea of it's mid range temp)...make sure that your flowers are ground finely, and are very dry. They don't have to be powder fine by any means; a coarse grind or shred will work just fine. Ideally, the more surface area exposed while still allowing airflow through the load will produce the best vapor cloud results. Try to load, not pack, an ELB loosely, about halfway full or 1/3 of the way full. By the time all of this is done, and you've essentially let the entire Cloud unit begin to stabilize at operating temp, you can insert your ELB, and then using either a Hydratube, dry mouthpiece, or other glass utensil, give it another go!

Your actual voltage could be anywhere between about 107 to 123. I'd select 110.

You sure about that? There was an early problem with a converter in a car, and a US version overseas also needs a converter. A regulator OTOH, is designed to even out the little ups and downs and maintain a constant voltage level, not convert it. That shouldn't be a problem. It's a helper. They help computers, cars, and power stations. With electronics, regulation is usually a good thing.
I was under the impression that 110v is for Jamaica and 120v was the United States and 127 for Mexico (atleast that's what it says on the box). I currently have it on 120v but yeah I'm not 100%

I remember the good sugar trim worked really well with the cloud, better than you would expect. It's been awhile since I've tried my cloud, about 3 months. Before I was going a bit mad with everything, getting so fed up using the eq, there has been times when I just wanted to throw it against a wall. Compared to the cloud, it almost seems wasteful to use herb in another vape.

Before I contemplated loading up a elb and putting it in my broken Cloud + and heating the gong with a torch, Seriously. With the cloud breaking and the revamping of the company, this has all come at a bad time for me. By the time I do get my Evo, I will sadly be on a tolerance break for possibly a month or two.

Sad times for Vessel.

We have the EVO anticipation thread - http://fuckcombustion.com/threads/the-cloud-evo-anticipation-thread.10875/page-6#post-486331 and the new EVO thread. One or the other is more appropriate for EVO posts, so let's keep this thread on topic and make sure the posts have something to with the original, and not just the EVO.

There seems to be a bonus for Cloud owners who buy the EVO in the elb dept. The Cloud elb's fit in the EVO with ease but aren't loose enough to come out if you upend the unit. I don't see any reason why they can't be used in EVO, so if you're upgrading and have a good supply of elb's already, they won't go to waste.

What your verdict on this unique combination?
Too early for a verdict. For me the jury is still out.

I haven't tried using a heated atomizer yet, I've just been using it at room temperature so far. At first I thought that the hit felt smoother than usual. After several hits I tried the same setup sans atomizer and to be honest, I couldn't really tell a difference.

Then I had to stop and order a pizza.

I will try it tomorrow with a heated atomizer, but so far I haven't really noticed a big difference.

:peace:
