Thanks. Last question, any particular setup I should look out for? As far as carbs, batteries, features what is a good setup.

I have a dabbler, which is awesome and i would definitely recommend it.
But if i was going to get sub $100 pen now, id probably opt for the dr. Dabber

hey guys so i was looking through the thread trying to find pictures of the inside of the hash oil tank. I have an essential oil tank that looks similar, element at the bottom, with a tube in the middle for air. wondering if it was the same as gentlemans brand. the videos are down now cant really see anything else about the tank.
Theres no air tube. Its just a metal cartirdge with a coil at the bottom and some weird looking insulation type material surrounding it (maybe ceramic but it didnt look like it). My advice is stay away

The dr dabber I hear is a good choice , they built the coil as low and close to the bottom of the ceramic cup so that all oil that gets passed the heat can be vaped off with minimal loss with the coil being so close to the bottom.

Well I have 2 of these V2 carts that just arrived today. I haven't gotten home to chec kthem out yet, but I will today. I'll give them a good review. I keep asking "if these are just knockoffs, who makes a QUALITY wickless ecig vape?" and no one has given me an answer yet. I love the thermovape EO, I love the persei, but it has a wick. I don't want a wick in my vape, it seems like the most dangerous aspect IMHO.
I'm really hoping these don't suck!

persei doesn't have a wick anymore! kiss and sr-71 means no wick. gentlemen's are not quality. i don't know if you could tell by the pages of bad reviews
A select few may like them. I however do not.
The no wick thing is good if done right but these are not, unless theyve changed something in the past year. Besides the horrible customer service, the coil they use gave off a horrible metallicy taste i could never yet rid of. Also i dont know what they used to make these, but the "chamber/bowl" on the bottom which im assuming was supposed to be ceramic just looked like some crappy insulation type material.

The kit is just so expensive to get before getting the herc then you have to add that on top. Then its not stealthy either. I just want something for states that are less awesome than my own etc.I've got to go to a motor speedway on sunday, so I'd rather bring these than my perfectly good cera.
Is there any way to use the herc on the ego batteries? I'd buy it right away if I can pull that off I guess.

the KISS cart is a 'load as you go' and works for the omicron as well. SR is way to powerful to work on egoYeah but I don't have a persei anymore

EDIT: Found them. Released soon. Maybe I'll have to try these first. I really do want the herc, but not sure what I can sell to justify the purchase. So expensive, but then again the good things always are.

You might want to consider the VB Dabbler, I'm very impressed with mine.....I think it might be 'just the ticket' for this? Under $100, basically an e-cig from the outside. Excellent support (for those few who've had problems).

They claim the core doesn't perform as well (no regulation) with 'normal' batteries, but I find there's too good and working to well to mess with. As I said, I'm pretty impressed with this guy, having tried a fair number of similar units.
I'm not sure how long it will go, but my core has a couple grams use thus far, it's dark but not badly fouled and soldiering on like a champ.
One funny bit, it's six pushes to lock and unlock......I've done five, then gone 'oh, yeah' and embarrassing number of times.

You guys are gunna hate me for this, but so far the cart is pretty decent lol. Loaded some everclear hash and some BHO and both vaped nicely. No idea how it'll perform over time, but so far I'm actually impressed. Nothing I'd make a daily driver with the cera as an option, but honestly its not that bad at all. Definitely will come in handy Sunday when stealth is important for me.
I wonder if the constant hyping of their products almost makes us hate them more as a company? Its really not bad at all for the $25 for 2 carts. I mean sure it could crap out or start tasting shitty tomorrow even, but so far, I actually like it. You know I'm wide open to doing a complete 180 the minute I have any problems, and I'll certainly post about them, but so far for $12.50 a cart these have me impressed and far more medicated than the globe attachment I used before. If anything this tastes better. I just gotta ditch this rubbery mouthpiece but IDK what fits.

I need some advice, guys.
I already have gentleman's regular cart, their expanded 1.5 gm cart, and their tincture tank. I was just going to send them back after I saw how much you guys hate them and go with omicron carts.
But using bho with the omicron is way more of a pain in the ass than I thought it would be. It is doable but I really do want something that is easier to load but worry about these carts wasting my product.
Does it really just waste concentrate or is it giving huge rips that make it go away faster? I like the cost-effectiveness of bho but not if it is going to disappear without benefit.
They are not too expensive if I can get a gram run through before they conk out, but not if I am losing wax. Anyone have any insight?
And what can go in their tincture tank? PureGold? Anything else?
I already have them (so it is too late to not order) and I am wondering if they are worth a try or I should just send them right back. I like how small the reg cart is but that could also turn into a spillage liability.
The dabbler cores last quite a while. Definitely a nice change from all the other sub $100 pens ive tried...
I got mine sometime around May/June I believe...used it every day for about a month and then its been used intermittently since then...i would say maybe 1-2 times a week. And i still have yet to touch the extra coil i bought...(wish i didnt now that they have a new one coming out)...but regardless its a beast for sure...and you cant beat the warranty replacement process...
The only thing i dont like about it is the coil is too high and the bottom of the cover gets quite messy...if i had to buy it again id probably go with the Dr. Dabber for this reason but with the new ceramic rod replacing the wick on the dabbler the decision would be a lot tougher...
@darkrom glad your enjoying your gentlemans...i did get mine over a year ago so maybe they have stepped up their manufacturing process and/or materials since then. But the initial taste in mine along with the funky taste were enough to scare me away. I agree that $25 is a good deal for 2 carts but their customer service is just horrible. Should one of those 2 carts come DOA like i had, good luck getting a replacement or refund...

well I guess you have to make a glycerine mix to use the tincture tank. sounds like it would taste bad.

The bad taste would probably come from the oil itself and not the actual glycerine, since glycerine has a somewhat sweet taste to it.

well not real bad but bad the way pure gold tastes. although it would have more terpenes but lower potency than pure gold (I'm thinking). and I guess more accurate would be prop glycol rather than glycerine

I don't know guys. I have been using the v2 and had no problems so far. Easier to mess around with than a raised wick - just move the stuff at the sides to the middle with a toothpick. Small profile. You can hit it with a lighter to melt. Works on a regular battery. And I haven't experienced wastage. Seemed like a normal number of hits for the amount I loaded.
And I would say that customer support has been more than responsive.
Loading up their nano with co2 oil this week and see how that works. Looks nice and not giant sized like most.

This place is dead. First they said it would ship November 28th and now it says December 3rd-4th. REALLY hope it isn't pushed back a 3rd time.

I bought my cartridge 2 weeks ago with the hope of it shipping out on the 28th. The website originally said "on backorder until November 28th. Orders placed will ship on the 28th." That message was there when I placed my order.
Well the 28th came and went and the website was updated. Now it says what it does above. The website should at least be updated to "indefinitely on backorder" or something to let people know not to buy the cartridges until they are actually ready to be shipped. I THOUGHT I saw some talk of "making it up to the people who have been patient" but of course I can't find that right now.
I just want an update...any sort of update from the Gentleman's people so I can know when to expect my cartridge.
