Can I use wax in my E-cig?

I just bought an Ego-Twist. It has a little tank that I fill up with flavored liquid. It has zero nicotine cus I have successfully kicked that habit. I was told THC oil shouldn't be added in the tank because it might get too hot and burn the oil, which makes it poisonous. I asked him what about dabbing, doesn't that burn? He told me wax is not oil so it doesn't become poisonous when burned (I've never tried concentrates so I am a complete noob). I was wondering if I could add a small chunk of wax in my e-cig tank along with flavored e-juice? Has anyone tried this?

Or can I put a drop or two of e-liquid on a bowl and vape it thru my LSV? Would that be a good way to flavor flowers?

Unless I'm mistaken, wax and oil should be made up of the same exact stuff....and only the contaminates (plant waxes/water soluble compounds) and consistency separate them. If they are both solvent free, by extraction method or removal/purging method, I can't see why "burning the oil" would cause it to create any poisonous compounds that would not be created during the normal burning of a traditional "bowl" or joint..... unless something else was added in along the way.


I can say this, mixing e-liquid with wax is possible, I have done it, but I lack the "chiefs" skills needed to really make something that tastes good while working. There are a few threads floating around on the subject.

There are also oil/wax specific atomizers for your ego (glass globe atomizer comes to mind). Somewhat user friendly requiring occasional coil head replacement.

Awhile back I bought a few of these "Vision Stone" e-cig tanks. The q-control was lousy so they weren't all that great as an e-cig atty. Some were great, others total duds. Having seen a friends globe e-pen, VapeD I think, I noticed the striking similarity. I began dissasembling them - removing all the silicone parts and then removed the wicks, leaving only a coil in the small ceramic. Loading waxy material was quite satisfying although only one hit at a time between loads. The best thing you can do is experiment - certainly a coil of resistive wire is what is inside these other vape pens. If you can get something working and it doesn't make you feel like crap you may be on to something.
