I found that inserting a small domed screen on top of the herb in the bullet prevents pieces from flying up and blocking the MP screen. My clouds are now pretty thick all the way from start to finish. I do, however, start on 3 and finish on 4.

I believe using the MP w/ tip over the PonG and keeping the draws slow and not too strong are also great pieces of advice. I was pulling too hard at first with wispy clouds.

I have a regular pinnacle and I get solo sized clouds. I can only imagine the size the pro would give me. For me it's all about how I pack the bullet. Grind fine .. Scoop and tamp down twice then next scoop get something and pack down but not too hard. Do that until its right under the opening.

The pro makes clouds the solo just can't compare with (imo). I think the way you pack the bullet is very important as well (imo). I pack 'em pretty tight these days (imo). The bullets last forever (imo).

I think an No2 screen would work too.

You are quite welcome.

I actually just used a smaller, flat screen and formed the shape by bending it over the tip of a pen. I place it convex side down (into the herb). You can cut down any sized screen for this. The Arizer dome screen (for the EQ?) is way too big.

I push the screen down so that it is flush with the rim of the bullet and stays in place. I think it is important not to have the screen pushed into your herb as it might restrict airflow through the flowers? I only fill my bullets 1/2 to 3/4 full anyhow.

After reading this I got a good idea. Pulling from the magic flight thread, rather than using a screen you could even use a small piece of cotton in the bullet. I will be trying this out right now...

No2 screen fits right into bullet.
I will try it with my OG pinnacle. waiting on the Pro.

i tested my PnP with the FMJ with some OG Kush wax recently. i am not sure if my technique was correct or not. i got alot of very wispy hits. wispy yes, but had lots of flavor. heres what i did....

1) put slightly larger than i normally dab in the FMJ
2) put the FMJ in the PnP
3) turned on the PnP and set it to level 5
4) waited till it was solid lights on level 5 and started to pull

like i said.. i ot a lot of wispy clouds but they were flavorful. i am wondering if i should should wait till the PnP is all heated up to level 5 first before dropping in the FMJ?? here are some other obeservations i made with that session:

1) it did not fully melt the wax to total evaporation like on my nail. there was good amount of reclaim oil left in the FMJ when i was done
2) since i put the FMJ in while the PnP was heating, i noticed the wax started to bubble and cook even as low as level 2 and it takes some time to fully heat up to level 5 so the wax cooks a little hence the question of should i drop the FMJ in the PnP after it reaches level 5?
3) after just one single session with the wax in the FMJ my mouthpiece is a MESS!! it sticks to the PnP and is hard to get off. the screen (which to me seems impossible to change) is now very fouled up. i tried cleaning with 71% ISO and it still will not clean up. i am thinking this mouthpiece MAY need to be replaced. so if it can't be cleaned and if i am right... even if i can clean the mouthpiece, the screen seems impossible to replace so it looks like i will have to buy a new one (luckily i bought this used and he gave me a spare). so having to buy a new mouthpiece after only one session with wax tells me never to use this with wax again

other than that... i like my PnP. i do not LOVE it yet, but i kinda like it

Check out the vaping with cotton thread, it was brought up here a bit ago...

I dont see why people would need the cotton if you have the screen on the MP and PONG

Edit.. Had a litle morning sesh with the OG pinnacle today and man this thing just kicks my ass. I have completely replaced the Solo because this thing is just great. The size really does make it fun to use. Yes the Solo has a better taste but the Pinnacle on the first hits is amazing as well.

Yes, I will give that a try too.

A question: Is anyone noticing that their abv is not coming out of the bullet uniformly brown? I'm finding that my abv from the top 3/4 of the bullet is darker than that from the bottom (screened area). My only guess is that the solid metal of the upper 3/4 of the bullet is allowing more conduction to occur than that of the meshed screening at the bottom.

Also, does anyone stir half-way through their session to avoid this? I find it a bit tricky (and messy) attempting to do so...

My abv has been uniform pretty much every time

I def notice a plasticy taste when I start a fresh bullet and im hitting the pn pro without any water filtration. Not a big deal as I bring my wt with me in the car

I find my herb is vaped very evenly in the bullets and don't have a need to stir. Have you tried packing the bullets differently? Maybe you packed too tight and the herb by the screen was not getting good airflow?

mine comes out a perfect dark coffee color

I like to pack it a little, tamp it down, and repeat until it's about 3/4 full. Then I take a paperclip jam it in there give it a nice stir and tamp the whole thing down again. Then I start my session. Abv comes out coffee grounds brown.

I actually do not tamp down at all. Kind of just bang the bullet on a hard surface to let the flowers settle before inserting my extra screen on top. I'll try compacting the contents a bit and see how that goes. ...then again, maybe my extra screen is complicating things....?

Not really a big issue. I just love to vape the hell out of my goodies until they are dark brown. Can't seem to get that bottom 1/3 past light to medium brown, though. Odd. ...at least there will be more goodies in my ABV for my second batch of cannaoil

Just bought a good ultrasonic cleaner for my vaporizer parts...after I get a bit of reclaim first, of course.

So I've been using a cotton plug for my bullets for a few days now and I find that performance wise, there is no difference. I bit smoother ( I could be imagining it) but having the MP screen remain clean is what keeps me coming back.

Something about taking off the MP to find a layer of ABV stuck on the screen just makes me cringe. Having that cotton their not only keeps the herb nice and packed in but keeps anything from being sucked up to the screen. I do like it, I probably won't use it on the go but while at home just hanging out, I see no reason not to.

Good idea for a cap never thought of that.
I just load when needed.

As for the ABV clogging the screen,I hate that too. you can blow through the MP before opening to keep it at a minimum while its hot,or just brush it off with the brush again easier while still hot
