My face is melting...
Pulled the plug on a J-hook. So excited.
I spent yesterday experimenting. Made butane extract from last crops trim and saved the sprinkles at the bottom of the jar to try in the lotus.
Gummed the screen up pretty good but it's taking me forever vaping through the bowl. I'm going to try the torch method for cleaning it..just as soon as I'm sure it depleted. Needs a good solvent clean too to get rid of the stickiness which makes the Lotus another good fit since it stands up to alcohol.
The thing definitely has a place in the arsenal.

I was so close to ordering a pax. I've hit volcanos and arizers and such and they just don't stand up. If anything efficiency and vapor amount is even once you know how to use it. Taste is amazing and it's so fun to use.
I Can't wait to get that black leaf bubbler. I want to scrape a little kief to top the bowl for a real celebration. Does that clog it up at all? I figured if you just put some on top of the flower it would work nicely.

Bigger bowl maybe?
Faster heating and vapour production for sure. More control over each hit. You adjust the heat in real time!
Feels like a normal pipe instead of a crack pipe?
Possibly smoother dry hits cause of the long aluminum stem?
If you like the Gn0me, you should fall in love with the Lotus...

I've never used the Gnome, but judging from pictures, I can't imagine passing it around as easily as the Lotus, which is exactly like passing around a bowl + lighter.
After reading this thread I'm pretty sure this is the portable I want. Could anybody recommend a good bubbler for it? I want one that I'm able to hold one handed but with a bowl far enough away to light safely. Also I like really smooth vapor so the more diffusion the better.
I am happy with the VaporBrothers Glass Mini Hydrator. The only problem is that the stirring pin on the lotus hits the top of the hydrator. To solve this problem, I got the OregonGlassBlower 14/14 extender which can be found on ioffer.com
yeah thats about the size I'm looking for. I want something I can fit in a hoodie or large pocket and take outside. the stem on the mini hydrator looks like is a good length but also looks like it might be fragile. do you take it outside or mainly use indoors?

My warranty replacement stem came home in less than a week and I'm in Europe! Thanks for the fast shipping @Max Jitter !!!
I missed my al. pipe so much... Hitting it through water in my Ehle just wasn't the same imo... Too much taste taken away and probably too much THC! Hitting it dry gives me better flavour on my tongue and immediate feedback, meaning more control over each hit. It also seems to hit me harder for some reason... Idk, not sure... Sure thing is that the stem rocks! And it came with the newer, stiffer and finer screens! They will last much longer from what I can see...
I am a happy vaporist and I love my Lotus!!!

i just ordered the wpa-lotus... one of the main factors for deciding for the lotus was that i read in this thread that it works good with hash and of course the videos - seems to be exactly my type of vape, plus the design is beautiful something i always appreciate
now for some celebration, purple haze x panama through the gnome! hmmm incense *drool*
btw the guys at verdampftnochmal.de just told me that the producer raised the wholesale price, don't know if it's true, but if so now is a good time to get one before this gets passed on to the customers (also for europeans: i asked whether they already have the new wpa, and they said they do)

I know I am repeating myself but, if the majority of people here in FC really knew how good this vape is, I doubt most of the other portables could sell more than a few dozen pieces each! I mean other than the lighter usage and some people having issues with it (I was one of them but I can't find enough drawbacks now...), this vape really doesn't have any cons! I won't even mention the stealth factor as I find it unwise to vape with people around in places where weed is illegal....

I legitimately cannot find one gripe I have with this piece, and I was really quite skeptical when I first purchased it. I had some pretty bad buyer's remorse while waiting for it to ship, but that was completely relieved the second I hit itExactly! This is interesting. Since I only got the j hook with my lotus it makes we wonder how the Al stem performs in comparison. I also have a 3ft zong that the wpa fits into perfectly so I gave that a whirl a few times and man does that F me up. Was really surprised about the amount of vapor I still got after it went through all that water. Of course the bowl is spent in two tokes, but I am milkin the bong.
Only gripe I have with this piece is the heat dissipation. I have a few pretty bad burns on the inside palm of my hand right below my index finger. When I pick up the cap to stir the contents very rarely does this happen but sometimes the hot plate touches the inside of my hand when im holding it with my thumb and fingers on the side. This is about 5-10 seconds after a toke and I got burnt pretty bad. This isn't a deal breaker by any means, and out of all the times ive stirred the bowl this has happened twice so it is very infrequent, but also pretty painful. Oh well, no pain no gain

Ouch! Haven't burnt myself yet but my girl did once when trying to see how hot it was! lol
I've got the hung of it so good now that I can hold the vapor cap between my middle finger and palm and lift the WA to clean the bong with the next finger and thumb! lol
