Seek's tragedy is my main concern with this.

VXC devices always seem to be too prone to breaking with no coverage when it happens. I really want a VXC but I won't want to buy anything I feel like will break on me without a warranty to back it up.

At least to the best of my knowledge, if your VXC breaks, you're fucked. Is this untrue?

What is the warranty on the EVo? I didn't see anything on the website.

Dude when u try this vape it wi be a hole nother level. Mflb cant come close trust me
I'm super excited. It looks like I have a bit of a wait though. I hated the mflb I couldn't ever get the hang of it. I know it wasn't due to the quality of the device just my own ignorance of how it worked. My only dilemma now is whether to get an arizer solo while I wait or just keep it analog til it gets here.

Not an EVO. Its my limited understanding that there is a certain "modularity" to the new design that makes replacing the bamboo possible.

I got the lifetime warranty but iirc, it was going to be 2 years because of CE in Europe or some such . . .

Yeah, don't quote me on this, but IIRC  the warranty on EVOs is 2years for IGG contributors other than Family/Fanatic level, and otherwise will be 1-year ("pre-orders", everyone else, etc.) I could be wrong and often am!:\ But not always...:uhoh:

EDIT: found it.....from @stonemonkey55 himself (relevant portion bolded):

@cheese - Sorry to hear about this. If you can wait until October, we are happy to repair this for free and get you back into the Clouds. If you want to upgrade to the Nimbus, we can do that for you as well.

Just a quick update on the warranty side. Anyone who upgrades or purchases an Eagle through the IGG campaign will have a 2 year warranty. This is a great incentive (along with the price discount) to jump in right now and get first dibs on the new vaporizer.

When we release the VapeXhale Eagle in October, those that purchase at that time will receive a standard one year warranty. After a full year in the market, we should have enough market data to extend the warranty. While the testing has so far been very positive, we do not want to make empty promises and would like more data before jumping back to the 2 year warranty. We would love nothing more than to offer the same warranty as the Cloud+ but we need to make strategic decisions and currently, there isn't enough data for us to make a intelligent decision at this point.

The great news is, all early supporters and adopters get the 2 year warranty and since most of our contributors are from this forum, it is more or less, a moot point.

Only $500 from our goal to show the limited edition Swagger Tube, share the link so I can share the video! http://igg.me/at/vapexhale/x/3569338

I had a bit of an Epiphany today. I had been wracking my brain trying to come up with something to clean my ELB's better. Alcohol, salt, pipe cleaners, ... were just not cutting it. And it dawns on me ... Handgun barrel brushes! Very aggressive. The .357/.36/9mm size works best. The brushes are made of hardened copper or brass wires held together with a heavy brass wire. I would get a brush rod as well. Makes it easier to hold on to. Alcohol and one of these brushes works great. Available at most Wal Marts. Long live my ELB's.

Yes, fucked is exactly what you are. If you have a cloud+ (or earlier) the warranty is not being honored. And they are still being sold.

I do not believe this to be true. Though at the moment they are in fact unable to repair Clouds, that does not mean they will not honor warranties and repair broken units when they have the ability. Unless there is something I missed.

Well said. I would not bet my last dollar that VXL will not make it right some how. If it is repairable I would think they would fix it eventually.

Good sir, before you go speaking blasphemy... do you mind quantifying where they are still selling the non evo cloud? because the reason they can't honour warrantee is the same reason they couldn't sell old clouds, the manufacturers fucked them. I would gladly swallow my words, but i looked high and low and they don't sell the old ones, only pre-orders for the evos

Yes, at some unknown future date the situation could be quite unfucked! I think that's what we are all hoping for, but presently as of now...

Glad you got your Pre-order in! I just wanted to remind everyone, that tomorrow the 50$ discount ends. At 12:01 AM EST 11/5 we will switching the prices to full retail. Remember we do not charge your card until the Pre-order ships.

I just ordered on Friday and can see the upside of you not charging until it ships. However I now have a bunch of money in my bank account that I don't really have. Is there any way I could go ahead and get it charged or maybe get an estimate to when it would ship. I'm patient and know it'll be a while, but having that in my account is dangerous.

You just described my relationship with money to a T. Glad to know I'm not the only person who finds a way to spend money twice (or more!).:mental:

Any idea when the first reviews will be out? I'd be willing to eat the $50 difference if it means hearing a good, in-depth article reviewing the new Evo before I drop over $400.

While you wait, get a Lotus Vaporizer. Costs less than a Solo. Massive clouds.

The Lotus does have a slight learning curve. I found that hitting it through a bubbler allowed me to see the vapor production and helped with heat regulation.

The level of medication will definitely help you wait for the EVO.
